Have never been to this place but now that we have gone, we will definitely be coming back. We went on a beautiful Saturday afternoon for some lunch and this place was packed! Love music outside, drink specials, and just good vibes all around. I got the grilled fish tacos which were amazingly fresh with avocado, pico, and slaw. My wife got the steak tacos which also looked really good, the taste matched the look!We will definitely be coming back here to catch some sporting events in the outside bar area! And if the weather doesn’t cooperate, the inside has plenty of seating and TVs!
Staff was not wearing mask. I ordered 3 different items and 2 were unavailable but waitress didnt know until she was placing order in system. A beer I ordered wasnt available and she also wasnt aware until order was placed. For being a slow Sunday they really should get their act together. Managers had no mask either.
The food was really good, the servers are beautiful and did a great job. Plus we were there on Wednesday night and they had a free bingo with a chance to win over $500 along with some other prizes. It was clean and had a lot of different sports playing on every wall.
I have always enjoyed the food. The prices are very reasonable. The only major negative was that it was so loud. You couldnt even hear the person next to you talk. That is not enjoyable.
My family and I ordered takeout last night (nothing too complicated, a few Cesar salads, a burger, some tacos, and fried pickles). When we arrived home, we noticed there was no dressing on salads and also no dipping sauce for the pickles. I understand mistakes happen, but when we called them they were completely unapologetic and said there was nothing they could do other than having us come all the way to pick it up. The associate was very rude and at a minimum would have expected them to offer/pay for delivery seeing as how dressing from a Cesar salad is pretty essential.Being from out of town, I would 100% not recommend this place given the very poor level of customer service. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area.

We really like the food at Anthonys. It is fresh, made well, and the price point is good. The staff is outstanding. The ladies do such a good job accommodating the customers.
Pleasantly surprised. Food is cooked fresh. You can tell they have a Chef that creates his own menu. Relaxed comfortable atmosphere. Servers are very attentive and smiling. They pretty much cover all the basics of how to run a good restaurant
The atmosphere was great, bounces, waitresses and everyone were extremely pleasant and were definitely on top of everything even on such a busy night. Great crowd too, the people in the restaurant was very friendly and I made a few friends on the ladies room. The food was awesome, I had the steak tacos and they were extremely good and definitely filling. I think I may have drank one to many Cokes (yes Coke, no alcohol... lol). Well definitely be back!!!!

Ok a fun bar great place to people watch. And the food is excellent and I have ate here sober just in case your thinking your drink sure it was good. Prices ate in line with good food anywhere. Staff are awesome .

Its pretty cool Ive been coming here for years and get told at 1:00 they arent letting anyone else in because they turn the lights on in 10 mins . Then 2 girls who had just pulled on and looked underage walked in after I said they arent letting people in and the bouncer just let them in. Lol
Summer shady and $2.25 tacos on Tuesday were very good. The service was outstanding, will definitely be going back again!

I see all the bad reviews and I dont understand why everyone else had such a bad time.I stayed in Joilet for a week and I came to this place multiple times. Each time was pleasant. I wish they had a bigger parking lot because it is always crowded and hard to find a spot.There are a ton of giant TVs every where to watch sports. This place has a limited drink cocktail list. They have specials every day. I got to try Sundays half off appetizers, Mondays $5 gyros, and Thursdays $5 burgers. I ate nachos, gyros, burgers, and a cubano sandwich. What they lack in taste they make up in quantity. The taste is not bad. The food actually tastes good just not the best.

Kayleigh was absolutely the best bartender ever! She brought us our drinks quickly and accurately. Based on the disgustingly misogynistic, sexist review from Beacon 1 Beacon 1 2 weeks ago, we tipped Kayleigh generously without once asking her to A, smile, B, call us by our names, C, engage in conversation with us, or D, be beautiful. Why? Because it is NOT HER JOB TO CODDLE CREEPY MIDDLE-AGED MEN WHO HOLD HER TIP HOSTAGE BASED ON HOW MUCH SHE FLIRTS WITH THEM! Kayleigh, keep doing you, you’re great! Oh the food and drinks were fantastic too!
The ladies were fabulous and the shrimp linguine was superb. I also must talk about the quality of their presentation.

Beautiful, beautiful server, the rest goes downhill. I stopped it at 5-ish on a weekend to have a drink and order some food for take-out. I carry out this routine often, I am presentable, a total gentleman and a crazy tipper! The bartender, Kayleigh was stunningly beautiful, but I left her a minimal tip for the following reasons: I never once saw her smile. Honestly, I felt like I was being serviced by a beautiful robot. Mind you, this is at 5PM, long before all the craziness happens later in the evening. In my opinion, at this time of day, Anthonys management should have presentable bartenders who actually SMILE. She never once used my name and kept any eye contact with me after I ordered my to-go. I am middle aged and have two agendas: Have a drink, order food to-go and see a smile from the bartender. The staff at Jamesons has this down: Treating bar cutomers like people, smiling and using peoples names. AND, at this time of day, DO VERY WELL! $$ We are a no-hassle / old school crowd, who, atleast in my case, appreciate the beauty AND the smiles! Last week, at Anthonys, I had the pleasure of being served by Rachel, who has it all going on. Rachel was tipped handsomely, and I cant wait to see her again!

A really lousy steak.It seems like it may be a decent enough place for just a burger and a beer, but I had the steak in the mixed vegetables and it just really wasnt good. The service at the bar was really lousy and slow, I had to sit there for five minutes when I first walked in without anybody even saying hello to me.
I am not from the area, I am about an hour north so I had no idea what to expect. I went here because they were having Trey Burton (Chicago Bears) there for ESPN radio.They were busy, so instead of wasting a 4 top on me, I just sat at the bar. Was greeted promptly and friendly!! I had a coors light and ordered chicken tenders with fries. Portion was 4 giant tenders and a basket of fries....sadly I couldnt finish it, because they were delicious!!Being in the industry I look for cleanliness and proper handling etc....they are spot on!!The bartenders were Jenny & Melissa, both were very friendly & engaging!!If I am back in the area, I will make it a point to return!!

Went for dinner with some colleagues visiting from Germany. They were in the mood for some ribs, and this was a close by place recommended by the hotel. They were all very satisfied with the choice, and loved the ribs. I had the Korean short rib tacos, which were very good as well. Wish I knew this place was so close to my hotel, I would have stopped here more than once. Service was good too, with a friendly and attentive server. Definitely give it a try.
I had the Cowboys Burger and it was one of the best burgers Ive ever had. I also got a Blue Hawaiian and it was very good. My girlfriend got lasagna and it was good but nothing amazing. The lasagna came with garlic bread and salad. The salad was good and the garlic bread was also good, both better than average. My burger also came with fries and again they were good but nothing amazing
Came here while traveling for work. Great food and very friendly service. The menu is large, but I would highly recommend the pasta (forgot the name but its the first one on the list). Great pretzel with cheese sauce too. Portions are very generous and the food came out quickly...if you are by yourself...dont do an app and dinner (unless you can eat a lot and are very famished). Enjoyed a mimosa too...overall, a nice evening.

Because this was a fundraiser, it was held in a large closed-off back bar area. WOW! There were well over 100 people attending probably more. The server kept my Coke refilled all night long, and I had checked out the menu ahead of time. The soft pretzel appetizer with cheese sauce was very good. I would have liked a bit more tang to the sauce, but its always different no matter where you go. Then I ordered an individual sized stuffed pizza, with pepperoni and mushrooms, which took longer due to the crowd, but I had hours to kill because of the raffle drawing at 9:30. It took a bit over an hour, and was worth it. the cheese was oozing, and the sauce just right. The Cokes kept coming, until I asked for ice-water. The patio was filled, even though it was rainy, but Im sure it it lovely during nice weather. Again, hard to tell, this event was a big success, and Im sure the location had a lot to do with it. I did see a lot of people ordering from the menu, and the burgers looked phenomenal.
The wings are terrible, over sauced and fatty.

Top class owner saw that all our parties needs were met. Hosted our private event to the best of expectations. Food served for the party was delicious and plenty. All staff from servers to bar were attentive, prompt, and made full effort to satisfy all needs. I actually enjoyed theyre late night menu... The tacos are a must have... I also had 2 strawberry margaritas one weak but the other was perfect. I guess it depends on the bartender. The music reminded me of Chicago house music. I cant complain much except for the one drink and wings that were pretty basic as well
Sweet Potato fries but with cajun seasoning was awesome! However my boyfriend was denied entry because he was wearing a hat? They still side-eyed him after we went back to the car to put away the hat. Have no idea why there was a dress code for him considering other people had hats on.
Great specials, pretty good menu for a sports bar. Crowd is also good. Drinks arent too expensive, and are poured well. Wednesday $10 pizza is actually pretty damn solid. $5 burgers are pretty darn good too. Nice feel. Good staff. Enjoy.
This spot is worth a try. They serve big portions for affordable prices. Consistently well organized and with good character. Will come visit again.

I love this place during the day! The food, the service, the atmosphere... its amazing! They have great food and drink specials. Weekend nights they tend to get a younger more rowdy crowd than I care for and I tend to avoid the place when going out.
My friends and I went on a Saturday evening, the atmosphere was great, music wasn’t bad pretty upbeat. However, our server was very slow at bring our drinks. When our food arrived our mozzarella sticks had no cheese, literally just breading. And at the end Rita (the server) hovered over us to make sure we tipped her. When my friends and I were calculating how much we should tip Rita screamed she didn’t tip as if we didn’t know since our friend put cash on the table.. it was very uncomfortable. Next time will just ask for a different server.
Food was very good, had nachos then the meat pizza. We had never been here so we asked the waitress how long the restaurant had been here her answer, why do you need to know that. So, I asked the young man who may have been the manager his answer 4 years I guess I was looking for a little more of an answer....like thank you for visiting our establishment.....kids
I simply love this place. The food good and the staff has been friendly. I enjoy the atmosphere. It seems to bring in a more early 30s to older crowd but its lively. Not too crowded but just right. We have tried the pizza, burgers, sandwiches and their specials and its all been great!
Food was amazing! Best BBQ Burger Ive ever had, cane with pulled pork and bacon! My husband and I will definitely be back and will be recommending Anthonys to our friends!

This is not the Sammys it used to be. Good food, great atmosphere, two bars, one in the pool table/gaming area and another in the dining area. Comfortable environment weeknights.
The place offers a fantastic variety of delicious food. I liked eating here. Staff members are always very friendly, pricing is fair and the place is always kept clean.

Horrible experience and service. My husband planned me a surprise graduation dinner here & made reservations weeks ahead. He even visited and called days before to make sure everything was fine. Well.......... he made it so our guest arrived at 5:00pm and we were to arrive at 5:30. When we arrived at 5:30, our tables were not even ready and we had to go sit at the bar to wait & I saw too many familiar faces and just like that the surprise was ruined...... They finally sat us down at 5:40 and our sever was Emily. She was horrible and took well over 15 minutes to bring my guest small things like water. I observed to see how she was with her other tables and she was quite pleasant to them, but when it came to our table, she was the total opposite of pleasant. Figured out later that gratuity was already included so she didnt care about being nice for a tip. She must have been talking badly about us because all the staff kept looking over at us. Forgot to mention my party consisted of all black people...... We will never visit this establishment again.........

Heard a lot about this place… I looked it up on Google and didn’t realize that the kitchen is closed two hours before closing time. A gentleman with a red shirt that read “security” on the back of the shirt tried to explain to us that they are closed and we need to put ourselves in their situation... makes no sense to have five cooks in the kitchen when there is no one to cook for… Really? They should explain it on their website then.
I visit this spot a lot since I work close by. I like how the customer service is always great and they keep the spot neat constantly. Rates are convenient and they serve sizeable portions.
Foods great as long as you stay away from special items. Cocktails are fairly priced. Great for watching sports. Bartenders are extremely attentive. Owner is at the restaurant alot and mingles with guests. I enjoy coming here.

Fast and friendly service. A good food selection for not only adults but kids as well. Seating is spaced well so you are not sitting on top of another table. There is a large bar area with an open floor plan so if youre going for a quiet meal and there is a game on, probably not for you. TVs throughout the bar and dining area play various sports games. Prices are not excessive unless you get into the realm of seafood, then you looking around $18-20 a plate. I got a steak salad medium rare. Some pieces were straight rare and for a sirloin cut was very tough. Good beer selection and a nice place overall.

Some people like the place but I guess its a personal preference but the drinks are extremely over pored. The music I know is supposed to be load but that load ? I had to walk outside to even be able to hear myself think.. But the food was good and the staff was very nice.
Different experience every time I am here for drinks or food. Sometimes the service is great other times not so much. Food is decent and the specials are a perk.
We stopped by for lunch early afternoon on Saturday and it wasnt super busy, we were seated right away. Restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly and attentive. We both got burgers and fries, neither of us could finish them because the portions were HUGE! I had the regular fries that come standard with the burgers and they were seasoned, I enjoyed them, but heads up they have red pepper flakes and have a little kick if you arent into that sort of thing. Both our meals were right around $10 each which is more than reasonable for the amount of food you receive. Well defintely be back.

Drove by this place several times and after a long flight and starving wanted to give it a try. The late night club vibe caught me off guard but in a good way lol. The food so far from what I ordered (and I ordered a little of everything) was amazing! Service was good and staff friendly. If your trying to get out and have a good time advise coming after 10p but if you just want the wholesome evening with good food come before 9p.

Service is good. My wife enjoyed her cheesesteak. The pizza however, to me, tasted exactly like a frozen pizza from the grocery store. Very disappointed.
Went for an event. Nice mix of music. Great drinks. Advertised to end at 2 am, but the lights went on at 1:30 am and they were asking us out at 1:35 am. Typical outside of the city, but still shouldnt advertise that way. Perhaps say when last call is, and say that the event ends (at 1:30 am)
