I have never give 5 stars before. Me and my partner was both amazed and satisfied the whole experience was amazing, excellent friendly service, and the most amazing Indian food I have ever had. Thank you so much i cant wait to come back when I am in Tromsø next. 👍
Pathetic indian food. Highly disappointed. All the dishes that we ordered were watery. We had Palak Paneer, Paneer Masala, Daal Makhni and Garlic Naan. Naan was of a medium sized poori, and nothing great! Dont recommend it to anyone, especially those who are looking for real indian taste.Only good thing was the interiors of the hotel. But thats not why one goes to a restaurant.
Good SE Asian food.
Really good food. Was made it like it was ordered. Clean and nice environment.
Extremely bland. Butter chicken should be rich and delicious but this was not. Tandoori chicken street food was ok. Portions are very small.
Too slow and waitress very little professional
Only authentic Indian food in Norway.
The food was delicious, beautifully presented and staff was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the time spent at the restaurant and recommended that place. 5 stars. Thanks ❤️
We went there for lunch. Ambience of restaurant is nice but food is horrible. We have ordered Sticky Paneer tikka in starter, which was totally disappointing. It was very sweet n sore and not at all taste like paneer tikka. In main course we had Panner masala which came with soupy gravy and was tasteless.Peshawari Naan and Garlic naan was ok ok. But Missi roti was very hard and not at all eatable.
The food was good but the portions are way too little for their price, those indicated as half portion could easily be called 1/4. Okey service
Indian restaurant in downtown with marginally authentic cuisine. Ambience is above average. Mango chicken is one of the popular menus top list. Service was great but a bit slow. Has range of spiceness scale which can be leveraged based on taste😉
Served stale food which was smelling like hell, must have been at least week old. I guess the chef has never actually tried Indian food. Hope someone teach how to cook Indian food.
The fish curry is seriously the best fish dish I have ever been served. Its totally amazing and highly recommended. I could also go as long as saying that its the best Indian dish Ive ever been served. Highly recommended!
A | Great concept and the good was tasty
Best in Tromsø
Good Indian food, amazing service and charming ambiance. Butter chicken was all right, but Ill order something spicier next time!
They’ve best Indian food I’m Tromso. Few items like Antiques with modern Indian ambience.
Great service and food even though it was very busy because of the food festival. Well worth a visit!
Not the actual indian food that you’d expect even the taste is a bit plain. However the service was good and thats why 3-stars for the place
A nice place to enjoy delicious Indian food. People are very friendly and the service was great when I was there. I went twice during my Tromso trip. The lady who served the food for us was a fantastic person 🙂
Delicious food and has five vegan options! However, considering the ingredients, it seems overpriced. For example, the chickpea curry was 20 dollars when it was mostly chickpea, some spice, and some rice. However, they gave us extra rice when we asked to bring the leftovers home, so that was very nice!
Great place for Indian food. This place was great and authentic flavor for Indian cuisine and the service is also great.
A very odd interpretation of Indian cuisine. The menu was extremely limited with no starters offered apart from expensive poppadoms. Service was efficient, bordering on bizarre. Hard to justify the 1400 NOK bill unfortunately.
Waited 40 mins only to be turned away after being told they would find us a table.
Good food, and you get a feel of india in there. They will even give you very spicy food if you ask for it.
Delicious food, wonderful staff, nice prices, cozy atmosphere and heated plates (!).
Tasty rogan josh, nice atmosphere, decent prices and pleasant service. Cant go wrong!
Oh happy day!! Nice food and good serving!
Amazing , absolutely amazing food, excellent service from lovely staff , can’t get enough of it.😄
Cozy place, good service, and, importantly, they have some good vegan dishes.
A little pricey but very beautiful. If I had money I would purchase a lot
Hard to locate that place. Once you reach there, be prepared to wait long hours or turned back unless you have a reservation. We were turned back even though there were not many folks in there.Smelt good and spicy ..btw
Lovely place with nice food and staff.
Poor attempt on Indian food. Tasted like nothing. The sorry state of the nan, dry undercooked rice and some ridiculously bland korma dish.
Very good salmon, mediocre indian food. Had a rude waiter. Old chubby man, was mad about recieving too little tip. He also made jokes about the woman paying for the meal and not the man
Very nice Indian restaurant with delicious dishes.
Excellent food, very nice staff, nice ambiance.
Nice indian restaurant.Staff is nice, food tasy and price ok.
A wonderful atmosphere and beautiful food. Will go again if in Tromso.
Best India restaurant in Norway 👍Butter chicken is perfectly done 😺Super service best in Tromsø
Good but too spicy
Finally an indian restaurant in Tromsø, and its good too! Also supernice atmosphere and staff
Great Norwegian-Indian food. Sadly missing authenticity and spice.
Try the sticky toffee cake for dessert!
Wait staff nice and ambience good but way overpriced for quality of food. Had toasted pita bread that they claimed was naan and the quality of the curries was not great with a very uneven blend of spices. Feels like someone trying to make indian food from a cook book rather than truly authentic tasting dishes. If you are traveling through this beautiful area and missing Asian cuisine would recommmend you look elsewhere - not worth the expense.
Fantastic food and surroundings.
Food was totally ok. It did not stack up to other curries I’ve had in Norway, though. The price was ridiculously inflated.
My Very Very good Restaurant
Indian food
Absolutely amazing food
Great food
Nice space, very loud, not great food
Fantastic food!!!
The food was not good
Taste not good
Great!
Super
The food was good, but the positioning was wrong, I ordered 3 dishes, and felt quite full after the starter. The tomato chutney was not good, as was the raita. The naan portions could have been larger.
Good taste and lots of food. Expensive beer!
Very good food! Warm and cozy room. The staff are nice and come up with good recommendations. Will be happy to return :-)
Great food, nice restaurant.
Fantastic food and great service!
Pretty good, but expect more spice for next time when I order my chicken hot lollipop
Lovely food.Recommended🙂
Lovely food
Lovely food, nice local and good service.
Cozy and authentic Indian food
Fantastic food, service and atmosphere.Thank you for us this time, see you soon!
Good food
Nice staff and very helpful waiters but ..... Found hair / thread in the food, sent back to the kitchen and got the new dish. It was served with roasted rice and they forgot new cutlery for one of the guests. Hope the chef had a bad day but cant give better rating unfortunately. Would not recommend because of repeated mistakes from the kitchen.
Super mat👍👍👍
Thanks for visiting Longyearbyen, but it was disappointing: /
Great food, nice atmosphere and decor, friendly staff.Nice evening for friends on a trip🙂
👌
Super friendly, efficient, professional and helpful waiter whose name I unfortunately do not remember the name of.I ordered Butter chicken which is approved by three Indian wives. Hereby approved by me too :)Nice environment, cozy.Recommended !!!
Very disappointing. Chose this one because of all the positive messages, but the food was far from Indian, tasteless.
Smiling and pleasant staff, stylish interior, and completely. Fantastic. Food and drink).
Varied and simple menu. Tasty dishes. Recommended.
Not completely satisfied. When ordering 2 samosa for about 100 kr as an appetizer you expect freshly made and not from the freezer, and revealed that they were still frozen in the middle. The main course, butter chicken, was well seasoned and good in taste. But it was devoid of vegetables, which is extra. Including a salad at NOK 55, the main course is closer to NOK 300. A small glass of the houses white wine is NOK 115. So quite expensive. No tandoori dishes on the menu. It is far from being the best Indian in Oslo in terms of both food and currency. What weighed in was a very nice and skilled waiter. As well as a cozy room.
Service-minded operation. The food in the middle of the tree.
Good food and nice food
The food was decent and one waitress who could speak Norwegian had knowledge of the dishes they had. Seems the food was okay, but nothing special. Hu other waitress could only speak English (has nothing against it), but the lady was seriously rude to come to our table like that 3 times and asked if she would clean the table. If we said no the first time, then you should really wait until we tell it because it was like a breeze to get us out of the restaurant, which I had thought if it was full of people in the restaurant, but it was only 3 tables that were busy and very quiet there. Me and my girlfriend just wanted a quiet and nice evening out, which we didnt get because of the bustle. Rather try the restaurant Elephant for them having much better food and think it is much less expensive in terms of portions.
The food tasted excellent. Apart from the description of the portion of meat that proved rather be a spicy browniepudding. No date taste.Might also mention that the waiters voice volume was uncomfortably loud. She, on the other hand, was very gentle and nice.
Pleasant local but disappointing Indian food.
Were very curious about Indian cuisine in Tromso and were very disappointed. We waited a long time for our food and then came very, very small portions. Got almost hungry and a few kroner easier. Would not we go back?
Decent food and atmosphere.
Great food, nice waiter plus reasonable prices 👍
Useful food there😐
Good food. nice place. Quite acceptable price.
