This place is serving Shahi sweets since 1940; is owned by Gajre Bhandhu( गाजरे बंधु ). Was referred by a fourth generation local residing here to reach & ask for milk sweets. The shop is located opposite Kushawart Tirth ( कुशावर्त तीर्थ ) & its housed in a heritage structure supported by wooden columns with sloping tin last roof consisting a two storied magnificent landmark with main activity on the ground level.Purchased milk Kalakand( कलाकंद ) & milkcake ( मिल्ककेक ) .These were real delighful milk products l could get hold on after a long time.Although the gracefully dedicated owner when asked about the yellow/Kesar coloured burfi which was a attraction to look & very tasty to eat ; was recommended by owner himself as he sensed me as a connoisseur of milk products only refrained from selling his yellow burfi as it used partly maida. I found his sense of straight talk really forthcoming;despite running sucessful show.As was told there products are so much in demand that at times you have to wait till next production. There used to be a kirana shop(with signage तिर्थ राज निवास) few shops away further to this sweets Shop which used to be a there since 1920 but was shut down after lady running it passed away last year.
Price bit high. Ask first before eating
Eat any food, it will be good. Barfi, Pedhe, Gulab Jamb, Khurchandwadi are the Khasiyyat.
Nice Breakfast, Vada Rassa, Dalwada & sweet Items
