Fantastic - We booked a last minute table for 9 people at 830pm on a Sunday for 9pm! Absolutely great bunch of lads, nothing was too much for them. Even cooked up hot food for the buffet just for us. We have a lovely meal and to top it off, the barman even kindly ran myself and my colleague back to the travel lodge! Will be returning next year when were back at Silverstone!

So many restaurants forget that the quality of service is just as important as the food they serve. This is certainly not the case at The Ganges whose outstanding customer service make it a restaurant I look forward to visiting whenever I am in Towcester for the races/dogs. The team there are extremely helpful and add enormously to the dining experience.

Im new to Towcester and glad to be within walking distance of The Ganges restaurant. The surroundings are comfortable and stylish and the delicious food is served so well. So a top rating as far as Im concerned.

Really disappointed! Butter chicken and paneer were full of sugar and the tandoori roti was raw!

Nice food but pricey for Indian cuisine

4 of us had dinner there tonight - 2 chicken dishes, 1 lamb, 1 prawn, mixed grill, and a couple of veg sides. It took a little while longer to be cooked than we like but the food was GREAT !!!! Everything tasted lovely and the tastes were separate (sometimes in Indian restaurants every dish tastes a bit the same). Service was friendly. Will definitely be going back again.

Had a great meal at the Ganges called at short notice on fathers Day and they fitted us in the food was all fresh and so tasty most of us went for the Sunday buffet and its got to be said that we all said it was the best buffet we had had with good choice.. the team there put together a non Indian meal for one of our party which was great.. oh and I forgot to mention the carrot cake . Red velvet cake and full on choc cake were to die for and were included in the price.. lastly its nice to see an Indian restaurant supporting a local brewery . 5 stars will eat there again. Great authentic Indian restaurant the food was lovely and very filling good portion sizes. The staff were very friendly and welcoming this is the second time eating here and will coming back for sure. The atmosphere in the there was great.

Great food, some unusual dishes on the menu, friendly and efficient service. Noisy environment but thats probably because all diners seemed relaxed and having fun.

Great food in decent portions. Reasonable price, nice clean settings and polite helpful staff. Car parking is a little limited but places to park nearby. Recommend booking on weekends.

Everyone I have been here I have been amazed by how lovely and attentive recon and his team are. The food is lovely and slightly different from traditional Indian food. And fish curries are light and wonderful

Good food, friendly service and cosy ambiance. Adequate vegetarian and Seaford options if you are not keen on meat. Prices are quite reasonable too. Being a fairly busy place, you will get freshly made dishes served on piping hot plates.

Had our Christmas curry here last night and was presently surprised. Staff were very welcoming and the food was great.Excellent value for money especially on Buffet night!Would go back here anytime.

Stumbled upon banquet night by chance. Good value, good quality. Been a few times since moved on normal nights and have enjoyed the food particularly the peshwani naan.

So having travelled up from Cornwall ,we were in need of a good Ruby Murray (Curry) We couldnt have been happier with our choice Great Starters, and mains courses the staff were all very welcoming and then to add it was fab value ! Thanks Guys it was wonderful

The worst curry I have ever had. Dried up and flavourless, actually had to eject a mouthful at the table!! management response was diabolical. Menu said flavoured with Haram Masala ... More like five spice, powder straight out of the spice rack! Terrible. Beer was ok I guess...
