Nick LaFleur, sales associate, helped us to pick out a computer for close to an hour. When we decided to buy - the computer was not in stock. But he was so helpful and didn’t mind at all that we couldn’t complete the sale. Such a nice guy and positive representative for Staples! We will look for him next time we’re in the store. I walked pass at least 4 staffs as I was going in, none acknowledged me or offered me with assistance when it was in the middle of the day (Wed afternoon mid-town traffic) less than 5 customers in total in the store but I spotted at least 10 staff during my entire visit. I was able to locate some banker boxes toward the end of the store myself. I was not a big person and without a shopping cart, I struggled with holding a package of 8 and a package of 4 banker box. As I was barley holding onto both items and making my way to the cash wrap. Two staff walked pass me, I almost slipped with the products but they offered me NO help. They werent rushing around for task, but rather just strolling pass me. They saw me struggling with purchases, instead of offering help or suggesting to get me a cart, they chose to look down and walk a step further from me. I walked up to the cash wrap and there were 4 adult male staff behind the counter with one already assisting a customer. I waited, the other three looked up and waved at me from where they were all standing together behind one of the registers. So, I walked up to where they were and put down my items. ONLY then, one of them told me, he had to help me at the furthest down counter. The 3 adult MEN saw me struggling with their products offered NO help, NO assistance. One just moved on and waited for me at the furthest away counter as I had already settled down the products at the counter THEY were standing, where THEY WAVED at me to go up!! I had worked retail and I understand not all cash wrap are set to open for business, but can someone even OFFERED to assist me moving the products?! NOPE. I am quite shock with the service at this store given the low traffic and high staff to customer ratio during my visit Oct 27 (1:45 to 1:55 pm). I had no prior bad experience with any Staples I had visited around GTA area, sometimes there just aint enough staff but this is not the case here at this location. I would not visit this location again. No thanks...

This is a lovely location, and Gary was especially kind, helpful, and knew his way around the store. He made my shopping experience filled with joy and lessen my anxieties of being indoors. Wow! I had the most amazing customer service experience with Shawn, one of the employees at Staples when upgrading my laptop.I asked a million questions about options for a laptop, since I needed something robust to handle my business needs, and Shawn was patient and make recommendations, so that I could make an informed decision.Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and skilled sales representative at Staples to go to Staple to see Shawn.

Team at the printing and pickup area is under resourced. Wait was too long for the advertised convenience of a pre-paid print and pick up service. However, what really irked me was the team decided twice to serve customers who were not in the queue or the back of the queue.Nope. Not going to this location again. First time with a poor experIence at a Staples.

I usually visit this branch as I shop also at the grocery store nearby. I must say last visit I bought a brother printer and the consultant that helped me was very knowledgeable and suggested all the right things to me.

He also got me to sign up for a business account (that I didnt know would be for a small business)where I can get discounts for shopping there. Gary was incredible! Very high spirits a he greets you in the entrance. I’ve been to the store a few times in the last couple weeks and whenever he’s been the one at the door he’s had a great attitude.The girl assisting me at the cashier was also amazing. Very knowledgeable and relatable, which I thought was fantastic! I believe her name is Mari.I came in wanting to pick something up that I had shipped there, return something else and purchase one other thing, With both their help, I managed to do that in under 10 min. All while getting amazing customer service.

Great service. Mark and the people here deserve big points for going over & above. Story: doing some printing and could not figure out online how to get it onto labels, so ordered all on ONE big label thinking I would have to cut each off - about 60 to a page. They figured out what I wanted, and put it on peelable labels instead, and when I picked up, I could just peel and stick. Saved me a LOT of time. Staples @ Farm Boy will get my printing 100% now. Good thinking, great service. Great job peeps. PS - young guy in parking garage is top notch friendly & pro. Whole thing is delightful.

Staffs are very accommodating and polite. Buying a desktop for my teenager son wasn’t easy but with the help of Nicholas explaining the pros and cons of every questions we asked was the best help we ever had! It was my first time visiting this location. As soon as I walked up, Gary greeted me with such enthusiasm and made me feel welcomed. He asked what I was shopping for and when I told him, he directed me to the aisle it was exactly at. I was in and out of the store within 5 minutes. The store is itself was beautiful and all the staff were so kind. Glad this location is the closest one to me!

Great experience today! Gary that greeted me at the door (the 3 times in 1 day that I had to go in for multiple things) he remembered me every time and had the most friendly attitude that I’ve felt in awhile! Mark in the digital imaging area was incredibly helpful on the phone and in person, and the lovely young lady that helped me at the counter (sorry, I didn’t catch her name) was just a treat to interact with.

I had a printing job of over 100 pages. Due to the large size of the files, there were some complications with printing the documents. However, both Katherine and Jerome were most helpful to me and they were able to find a solution that we could print all the documents. Both Katherine and Jerome at this Staples location were among the most graceful customer-oriented staff that I have ever encountered with and they were quite knowledgeable as well. I highly recommend any customer to work with either Katherine or Jerome for their printing projects.

Amazing service! Quick and efficient, in under an hour ordered my purchase, had it ready for me and employee Tim even helped bring the large parcel downstairs with me. 10/10 great experience.

A second visit to this location. Both times I was helped by the same person (sorry I didn’t remember his name the first time).So nice to see such a well kept store and even better staff. Gary was a great help during my visit but most of all he gave me a good laugh and made both my visits so enjoyable and efficient, kinda rare for a supply store to be honest. This location is interesting to say the least.The first time I used the one day pick up service for my school work, I got a call saying what I was doing was copyright infringement (the way it was said on the phone was pretty hilarious as they made it out to be like I was breaking some major criminal offence.) I explained that everyone in my class has had no problem printing it off and was given to us purposely to print off for better quality learning during covid, it started an argument. I really had no issue telling my school to send an email - but I dont really appreciate childish behaviour and telling me I am wrong about something before hearing someone out (Also its just Staples and not the FBI.) I went elsewhere and no issues. They had a hard time giving me a refund but had no problem taking it out of my account, humorous right?Second, my mother went to purchase a universal charger. She told them her model number, computer, every detail...and they said the one they gave will work perfectly, and by a good guess...it doesnt. The supervisor said to come down and they will issue a refund right away. Again, when she went down there they couldnt process a proper refund and she has to wait till tomorrow. They are not properly trained or hired by qualifications...clearly. Its sad because this Staples is ideal.

Was during Covid-19 so wasnt busy at all. Friendly staff and offered to assist as they usually do. This new location is on the second floor of the building with shared space with a grocery store, I cant think of which one now.. anyway there are escalators and an elevator too. They are offering curbside pickup and delivery options now. This store was previously located just south of Summerhill stn on Yonge st.

Terrible service I would never visit this store again. I placed order online when I went to pick up they dint find my order they made me wait 30 min still dint find my order .

I had to do a curbside pickup from this store and another retailer. Night and day experience. At Staples I received the pickup notification very quickly and was able to get my products. At the other retailer it took more than a day and they were confused on which product I ordered. Great service!

The new store at 2149 Yong Street is on the 2nd floor and is accessible from the parking lot and ground floor by elevator. As well, here is an escalator from street level.Due to COVID, the store is only offering pick up with no in-store shopping.They have many employees inside the store (I counted 6) yet service is redicoulesly slow and uncaring.It is a shame that a new store provides such poor service.I sent a 2-page document to their printer and had to wait for 35 minutes after giving them the printing code. I checked with them periodically and they kept saying that it was being printed now and would be ready in 5 minutes. VERY POOR SERVICE!!!

Awful service, under staff , went there 2 nights in a row for prints, she was telling me it will take 30 minutes for 3 pages when there was only 1 other clients there, claiming there’s a lot of orders online which no one was there to pick up, and worst than that she received the code to check the file , she opened the file but didn’t hit print, which they have 6 of it at least in that location and not even 6 staff at 7pm! That’s not a right way to manage such big store in such great location! Roles shouldn’t change over night

They dont accept cartridge returns

Came in to pick up a booklet that I had printed online. Gary was super helpful in getting my order together quickly and the final product was perfect!

While the opening hours right now are difficult for professionals who are still working, the staff were pleasant and professional. Matei was extremely helpful and made sure my online print order was completed and delivered.

DO NOT USE SAME-DAY PRINTING SERVICE-WILL NOT GET DONE ON TIMEPlaced two same-day print jobs that were both not completed by the guaranteed time.For the first job, I just showed up at 6pm because they never sent me a pick up e-mail. They had a huge order and were not planning on doing mine had I not showed up.For the second job, they cancelled my order due to copyright issues and did not notify me for two days. I sent them a confirmation from the author and staples agreed to print it. I wait an additional 2 days at this point, 4 days total, to ensure its ready to go when I get there. I arrive and its not ready nor do they have any idea about my order. Additionally, they couldnt even do it on the spot because they couldnt access the document of a cancelled order. They had two days to notify me about this and I could have easily sent them the document in that time. The employee has me go back home to resubmit the order and ensures it will be completed immediately. I, again, give them a buffer time of 2 hours before I return. I call 10 minutes before I arrive to confirm it has been done and he JUST starts working on it after the call and ensures it will be done by the time we get there. I arrive and guess what - its not. This is ridiculous.

I wanted to leave a review about Staples Printing Services, simply because I was blown away with the professionalism of one of their employees. I was helped by Jerome, who was courteous and very patient with my order -- it needed a quote and required multiple steps like binding. Anyway, I had made a huge error with the order, and Jerome was very kind, patient, and helped problem solve the issue. He went above and beyond to ensure a customers happiness. I would definitely recommend them!

I live in the area, and I have been to this store many times over the past 23 years. Sad to see it closing permanently on Oct 23. I had another great experience yesterday with friendly staff and managers. I spent some time browsing and purchased a number of items. Among things, I tried to purchase a ream of legal-size paper, which was out of stock due to store closure. Thankfully, the manager, Azra, was so nice as to provide me with a few sheets from their copy centre as a courtesy. This saved me a trip to another store and helped my grade 3 son complete his homework assignment. Thank you, Staples! Hope to see the new store on Soudan open soon.

This is a brilliant store! Not only does it have the products that I need, but it also has tons of smart office services. The staff is friendly and efficient under the direction of the manager, Matei - who knows how to simplify any issue. I just did a COVID-19 curbside and it was as convenient and effortless as imaginable. If you are looking for a Staples I recommend this location. Just south of Eglinton on Yonge -you have to look up to see it on the 2nd floor, as its easy to miss.

Staples is a great addition to this neighborhood, which lacks competition in the printing and finishing, and office supplies retail. I am looking forward to the convenience of this being right near Yonge-Eglinton.

After wasting more than an hour, they provided me a 7cm x 7cm photo on a glossy paper whereas I clearly requested 5cm x 5cm photo for passport purpose. And the staff laughed at me saying that the photo is bigger isnt it. I realized though printed it anyway, while leaving from work.

This Staples location is fantastic. Its readily accessible by public transit and easy to find. I do all of my printing here and the self serve printing area is fantastic. The customer service is excellent and the employees are very helpful. Overall I have had a great experience here.

Terrible!!! They charged me $10 to scan 7 pages on a usb!! Then I come home to check if the files were there! Guess what?? No files were scanned!!! Called them and gave me attitude. So I come back to the store, manager looks like a teenager wearing snowmans hoodie!! and doesnt not even apologize.... Takes my usb and sends another guy to pick up my documents to be scanned.$10 f-ing dollars to scan 10 pages and still have attiude?Try to avoid Staples!! Thieves!!!!

Its a lovely new store and the staff are helpful. Its on an upper floor but there is an escalator.

The two sales assistants were shouting to each other loudly when I entered the the technology section to browse the gadgets. As soon as I picked up a white calculator from the shelf, one sales assistant (I think his name was babak) hurried over, he glared at me without saying a word and not even a smile. After I asked him for the price, he pressed the calculator and passed it to me, showing me the price, again without saying a word and no smile. Then he placed it back to the shelf. Throughout the whole process, he looked very angry and unfriendly. It seemed like he had an argument with someone else and was angry to me because of that. such a shame for Staples store with these sales assistants.

Has it all, up to the minute tech, leaves other print shops in the dust, an office emporium.

Never enough stock and their electronic stuff and laptops are limited and lame.

I went to the store to buy an HP printer they had on sale. None in stock for months and unwilling to sell the one store display machine they did have. Incredibly poor marketing and customer service to be unable or unwilling to sell a product they have advertised. The sale is now over and no new stock ever appeared. The display machine is till sitting on the shelves. Too bad I have to leave even one star.

Good place to actually buy big items. You can negotiate and if you forget your discount coupon they trust you to come and bring it next day. Would have given 5 stars but the parking is somewhat limited but hey, its downtown.
