Just the absolute best place. The service is phenomenal. They really take care of their customers. Also, the products are fantastic. I have hosted parties where I have exclusively purchased all my meats from here, and everyone loved it. They always go the extra mile. 100% order from here.

Visited on the recommendation of a friend, and bought steak and some cheese. I dont mind paying over the odds for quality. I do object to g sold a piece of steak the is wrapped in shrink wrap, smells on opening, and has a gamey taste ( if that is what it really was). No plans to visit again.

Frank, the owner, is the consummate local entrepreneur. From the moment I stepped in his store I was greeted like an old friend. His knowledge of meats is very impressive. His prices are reasonable compared to similar quality. We make every effort to shop here for our proteins. And then there are his wife’s biscuits that are simply awesome. We make a habit to buy a dozen or so to accompany dessert when we have company. Parking may be the only issue however he welcomes you to park in behind his store. Just take the small lane way immediately behind the building. Otherwise parking on Runnymede is also an option.

My husband and I decided to make our own sausages, smoked meat and schnitzel for a French dish called Choucroute. Butcher by Nature totally hooked us up! The meat was excellent quality and super fresh and produced crowd pleasing results!! Thanks so much! Dinner was a success.

Staff and owners were so helpful and friendly when I placed an order for this leg of lamb; I had no idea how best to have it butchered and they offered to carve the meat from the bone and then leave it in and tie it all up. Presentation got lots of oohs and aahhs when I got it to the table.

Excellent meat and prepared meals. The flat chicken is great. Meatballs are wonderful. Steak is delicious. Servicev is lovely.

This is my go to place for all meat. They have an excellent selection of beautifully butchered naturally raised meats at prices better than Ive seen anywhere. Many gourmet shops charge significantly more for conventionally raised meats. They are really doing their best in terms of trying to bring the best foods to the community at the best prices. They also have a small selection of dry goods, carefully chosen and well priced. Their eggs are amazing. The cheese selection is small but perfect. Ive seen the exact same Gruyere at another well known cheese shop for $20 more per pound! The owners and staff have always been very helpful and friendly. Weve been regulars here for 10 years and really think its the best place in the city for the things they sell!

Amazing experience. Frank was so passionate about the meat industry that he grew up in. He has top quality meat locally farmed in Ontario. I bought a skirt steak that was absolutely delicious and some home made couscous. Frank even game me an amaretti cookie as a sample and also sent me home with some home made sausage meat to give it a try. The customer service is personal and friendly, meat quality is top notch and this place has a very nice local touch that is extremely rare these days.

Frank and Mirella, the owners, are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and hospitable.Ground beef is amazing and hand ground. Where else can you get this quality?The only downside is that my husband now refuses to order a steak in any restaurant as it doesn’t compare in taste and quality to Frank’s.We travel across town for our meat as Frank and Mirella provide the best quality and can tell you which farm the meat is from.

Visited today and (presumably) the owner was very helpful and chose a stuffed fresh vegetable chicken for my boyfriend and I to cook for dinner. It was delicious. He also gave us a free artisan hunk of bread/roll for us to enjoy with olive oil, and well definitely be going back for more.

Friendly and helpful, this is the place to go for high quality meats - every day and special occasions. Our Thanksgiving turkey was unbelievably flavourful and moist and though kudos also go to the chef it could not have tasted so good if it werent for the quality of the bird we started with.
