If your into street art , art in general and excellent prices and the best selection of spray paint iv personally seen under one roof ...and not to mention paint markers leather inks hell even a crazy collection of cool rare toys and rare collector cards that I thought they stopped making in the 80s backed by some of the friendliest dudes who are passionate and enthusiastic about the products they sell . If that sounds like somthing youd like then it should probably not even need saying . Toronto Collective is a essential stop when on spadina . For real an awesome place check them out
Extremely friendly and knowledgeable service. They know the products they sell and have great advice. I always come here to buy leather paint as they have a huge selection.
Called ahead to see if they would exchange/return unused spray paint and the guy on the phone said yes, no problem, bring the receipt. I took TTC all the way there (30mins) and they told no exchanges or returns after several phone calls to management. Wouldnt even pay for my bus fare. I even bought the colour I originally wanted from another store with the knowledge that Collective were willing to exchange/return. Great business practices 🙄
Update:Owner contacted me and said it was a mistake to not include the spray caps. He sent them and I received them in about a week. So even though it was a bit of a pain and delayed the project, they did resolve the issue.—Careful, you may not get what you ordered.I placed an online order for Montana Gold spray paint. 6 cans, 3 different colors. When they arrived, they included just the cans.. like literally the can part only. No lids, only 1 spray cap/nozzle (for all 6 cans), and 1 safety ring. How can you use spray paint without the spray caps? Why would anyone remove the spray caps, safety rings and lids before shipping? Why not just ship what the person bought and paid for?Especially with Montana Gold, where the spray cap is a big reason you buy this brand? You may think, maybe to lower the shipping weight? (I know that makes zero sense as the plastic caps weigh basically nothing, I am just trying to imagine what possible reasoning). But no, cause I also paid an extra $31 for shipping.I have tried calling until the end of their business hours with no answer and so now have tried emailing. I will update with what happens.
Spoke to the manager and he was so friendly and went above and beyond to get me the colour I needed. Highly recommend!!
Most amazing collection of funko pops and super7. My new favorite store in Toronto
Super dope little shop! I didnt end up buying anything but if I ever need some proper spray paint I know where to go!
Online ordering was easy and quick. Unique pop cultural art. Shipment came fast. Recommend
Great store for all those amazing toys! Unique and fun!!
What a cool place. Had the opportunity to see DJ Koko perform on a Saturday. He came in town from Tokyo to perform for two nights. The collective was a cool spray paint graffiti supply store with other anima inspired toys and trinkets along the Spidina corridor. Lots of cheap and cheerful Chinese restaurants in the area to choose from.
The best store and one-stop spot for all of your artistic needs! They offer a long list of art supplies. A wide variety of spray paints, markers, inks, stickers, acrylic (leather) paint, brushes, finishers, additives, and a million other things! They also sell art memorabilia such as posters, canvases, designer toys/figures (KAWS, bearbricks, etc.), and even trading cards. The staff is extremely helpful, super friendly, and wonderful to be around. The curbside pickup works exceptionally, and they even offer extremely fast shipping! My favourite store in all of Toronto for sure, especially when it comes to do anything with art! 10/10, highly recommend to any artists and art enthusiasts. :)
This place has a lot of things. Bobble heads stickers, key chains,. There is so much, a person cannot list everything. The proprietor was very friendly and afformative.
BEWARE BUYERS!!!!!!!@If I could give a zero I would! ordered midsole magic never recieved the item aprox a month after ordering on a 3 day delivery time. I live less than 1 hr away drom the buisness location. When emailed they never replied to me with regards to my not recieving the ordered and payed for item. When finally getting someone on the phone they offered to refund the money and stated the item was never shipped after wasting a month of my time and holding up my project rather than offering to send the item immediately as well as a refund as any reputable buisness would.
One of my favourite spots in Toronto. Has the best collectable items. Employees here have amazing stories from break dancing to winning awards for street art murals. I highly recommend checking this place out or just to have a chat with Jedi!
Huge selection of paint, friendly staff, good prices.
The selection here is amazing. They have varieties for every collector of art toys and the background knowledge to match. If paint is your thing, this is the place for you too. Its art heaven!
The best place in Toronto to find art Toys
The best shop. I was mid commission and ran out of a colour. I called and they stayed open 1/2 hr later than close to wait for me. I’m so grateful for this shop! Always buy all my angelus stuff here and spray! There’s a chill vibe when you walk in there, no judgment ever! Amazing people!
This store is amazing wow
Cool place with cool staff
Great place for vinyl toy collectibles. Messaged them on Instagram late on Sunday about a particular Kidrobot figure I was looking for. Responded right away. Order shipped straight away the next morning with tracking and notices. Received my order quickly via Canada Post. Packed well. They have a great selection and seem to get new stuff in all the time. Great prices considering there are not a lot of retailers for these things in Canada. (Would’ve been way more and taken much longer if I had to order from the US.) The item I was looking for was limited edition and was already sold out on the KidRobot site. Will be a repeat customer. Really happy to know that this store exists.
Great selection of Montana Spraypaints
Great staff who know their stuff, great customer service, and great atmosphere. 10/10
Amazing bunch of guys working at the store. You feel the dedication, passion, and energy they put into it, and seem like they love what they do. Check Collective out!
The finest product.
Incredibly neat shop - went to buy spray paint today and the guy was super friendly and helpful :)
Super rad store, great customer service and awesome selection. Support local shops, way better deal than if I bought caps on Amazon.
Ordered online and got my paints right away. Fast shipping of 3 days especially during COVID. I wish I live much closer to this store to visit, but I guess its a good thing that Im not or else I would be splurging on materials.
These guys are awesome! ordered some vinyl collectibles that Im very happy with! The shipment itself came very quick as well. Appreciate you guys to the fullest. Thank you!
The guys that work here are super helpful and friendly. I’ve been coming here every couple of months for 3 years and have consistently received good service. I bought 27 cans of spray paint today and the one guy even helped me carry them out to my car.
This shop makes me happy. Cool stuff. Ill go back again for sure. Helps if you know what youre looking for.
A great shop for art collectables and tools of the trade. Very passionate owners who are well connected in the scene and always working at keeping the dream alive in the city.
Great little shop packed with paints, collectibles and clothing, toys and collectibles you wont find anywhere else (that iv seen)
Seems to have really nice stuff. But almost nothing has a price, as a result I didnt buy anythingI dont want to question 300x the prices of productsIf I wanted to access the website I wouldnt be in the store
Good selection, friendly staff and helpful. Prices are great too!!
Great place for hard to find paint supplies and collectible toys! Friendly, helpful and easy going staff.
Found everything I was looking in one place to restore my leather Sash Bag. Shipping was amazingly quick!! Thank you!
Good placeStaff are ogsThey know their job
After Magic Pony closed up there wasn’t a great source for toy collectors to get their fix in TO, until these guys opened. Staff are super friendly and eager to show off new arrivals. Hope to make it to one of their parties someday, looks like they host some great events.
Unique store
Has all my art supply needs for shoe restorations, also have a great collection of collectibles
Best store into toronto for street art and sneaker custom supplies
Awesome staff. I always stop by their booth at Fan Expo to see their vintage collectables and New old stock Lego sets. And they are always super fair with prices when my son buys something. Highly Recommend !!!
Top notch. Fast shipping, exellent service, caring staff. AAAA++
Awesome set up... very clean and tidy store. Staff are excellent knowledgeable and helpful. They even recommended other places in the area for all my additional needs. Will be a frequent customer for sure.
This place is amazing, they have the largest and most comprehensive selection of spray paint and figurines. Whenever I go in I ask for Jon, he knows about everything. He also designed the website!
Many one of a kind collectible products and incredibly friendly staff. They are also very supportive of urban talent and put together monthly events to exhibit some of the top street dancers, artists and musicians in Canada. A mist visit place if you are in Toronto even if you just want to hang out.
Really cool place. Carries angelus paints at an ok price.
Sick store with awesome workers who know their stuff and will help you with any questions you may have. Have a variety of items and hivhly reccomend stopping by to check out this store. One of my favorites downtown.
Decent place. They dont answer their phone tho, and their free tracking on shipments requires you to download an app, then give that app permission to view your emails and edit inbox settings, along with a few other questionable permissions. So if you dont want to give the app those rediculous permissions you get no tracking... (Update) the app blows. Doesnt even work if you do accept permissions. So no free tracking as promised...
Helpful staff great prices and stuff you cant get anywhere else. Asked a lot of questions got a lot of helpful info. Looks like the people that work there enjoy their jobs. 5 Stars right there
Great experience! The staff member who was helping me was very knowledgable and gave me recommendations on colour. He also gave me tips on which varnish to use, and gave me a wider spray cap on the house after finding out my project needed it. Highly recommend and Ill be back soon. Oh and the prices are fantastic!
Very Helpful,Patient, And Informative Will Definitely Return
Just popped in to grab a janky real quick but the staff there was very friendly and gave me a quick rundown of what was on sale and even showed me some things that are going to be released soon. Will definitely come back
Dudes in here are real chill and helped me pick my paint in minutes. They have a lot of designer toys blind boxed or otherwise, skewing hard on the ugly end of the “ugly-cute” spectrum. It’s a specialty store no matter how you slice it: if you’re looking for spray paint, consider this a good first stop.
Recently found out they sell leather dyes here which is why I paid them a visit. Very happy with my purchase and the guys are very friendly.
Interesting place. They have posca markers as well so its a great place to pick some up
Horrible service. Guys in there don’t care at all about customers. Plenty of other better options in the city.
I did not buy anything at collective. However, when I did walk into the store, they at least looked up from what they were doing... and greeted me with a Hello. And that is, alot more then I can say for most stores these days.Cheers
Awesome selection of collectibles and custom artwork options. Fantastic people.
Ordered Angelus Sole Bright, one of the only trustable shop in Canada online that offered it in a fast delay, even came with stickers 😁👍
Best place in town. The owners are all so sweet and funny. Mucho respecto por favor.
Its one of the most unique shops in all of Toronto.
So much awesome stuff!! I love this store, the staff are always friendly and helpful. Do not go in unless you have the time to look through everything or else you will walk in and like 30 mins will have gone buy.
Had a lot of selection for aerosol paint and the staff were all quite friendly and willing to help! Will definitely go there again!
Very cool place. Knowledgeable staff, great vibe.
Toronto Collective is the new store the grew from the infamous bombshelter. Now they also deal in other art supplies (other then spray paint) from canvasses, paint for shoes, toys and have great pieces from Torontos classic writers. Shop is big, open and welcoming. Torontos best stop for paint.
Been really happy with the service and selection every time I have visited. They are the reason I am now a fan of blind box collecting and KidRobot. With the blind boxes, if you dont get what you want, theres a chance you can exchange it for other options free of charge. If you are a collector, it is very difficult to visit this store without spending a penny. If you are not one yet, the displays themselves may effortlessly convert you. Check them out.
I ordered from them they sent the wrong product! After the miscommunication they made an effort to rectify the issue. The owner values his clients!
Its turning into a toy store more than an art store tbh...
Best in the biz
Extremely rude staff, who are high and unhelpful. The store stinks of cigarettes and weed. They sell blind box figures out of the box for a 50% or more markup, but at the same time won’t let you weigh blind box in store? Save yourself the headache and go to Mindzai down the street, they actually treat customers with respect and help you collect.Update two: see his edit again below. Again, no one was trying to cheat anyone. Literally every other store let’s you do this because it’s not a big deal. But my “issue” was not your rules. Your store your rules and I am happy to respect that. My ISSUE was the rude and unprofessional behaviour towards me and the fact that you are calling me names online. No you have not “cleared up” the issue. Try apologizing next time.Update: please see their response below as an example of how I was treated. I did not “sneak” in my scale, as I mentioned every other store has NO problem with it. I was actually going to come up and ask to see if I could use the counter, but I didn’t want to move anything without permission. And what exactly was I being called out for? I was there to add to my collection and have fun. I don’t want to buy open Vinyls, that takes the fun out of it. At other stores you can weigh the boxes and play a guessing game, it makes it fun and it does not even significantly lower your chances of getting duplicates. I weigh the boxes and still have a ton of duplicates. No one acted like a “brat” and the anger in your response was really unnecessary. We could have had a decent conversation but instead you started things off hostile. We were first time customers and honestly didn’t know the rules. We actually came in because of all the glowing Google reviews. This isn’t how you treat people...what is wrong with you? I also find the fact that of all things you chose to call me a brat is interesting....because i’m a young woman? Real classy dude....
The one guy working there named Lance was one of the best powerful persons Ive ever met
The people are super nice and offer very good service.
Best and the nicest people I have ever met they always meet you with a smile and help you out in anyway
Friendly staff and a large selection of great collectibles!
The Is is a superb graffiti store that reps the culture! Wicked dudes run tings, here!
Fun hobby store that has a very large selection of spray paint and collectibles. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Always have a deal on paint, good dudes, plus they have presto pens which you cant find anywhere!
Super awesome store! Amazing and friendly staff! The only place I can find Angelus paint! They also have a cool selection of collectables like vinyl figures etc.... Open on Sundays too!
Best place for kidrobot collectors. Also graffiti artists. Love this store and atmosphere. Employees are great guys
Best spot in the city for cans and there not hard on the pockets
Looking to chat with some old writers and get some proper gear, this is the spot. Theres always something rad going on here.
This place is amazing
Great place in general
Good prices and selection of montana paint. Went in for paint but loved checking out all the cool collectables.
Great place to find spray paint and some unique clothing.
Morvarid R. Sounds like youre a self entitled brat alright. If youre allowed to bring scales into other stores then go to those stores but dont approach a new shop youve never stepped foot in and assume you can do whatever the hell you want and then cry about it on the internet when you werent allowed to have things your way. You dont own the store or the merchandise, youre not a repeatable customer, and they dont have to let you do anything they dont want you to do or is against store policy.
I don’t recommend this place to parents.I took my 10 year old collector to this place for an exchange ( of a toy set missing pieces )they had promised over the phone. after 1 week wait and 1 hour drive all we got was: We can’t do anything. The missing piece was ‘valuable’ therefore they couldn’t do anything. There was no sorry or thank you or we will look into it or anything that would make a disappointed sensitive child feel better.Dear Collective, ‘Valuable’ is my child who fell asleep crying. Please don’t do this to any other kid. We would much rather being told there is no refund or exchange than to be dragged there just to be treated this way. Thanks.
Great place I remember it from when it was the bomb shelter always a great selection of collectables and art supplies
Great prices, great service. THE ONLY PLACE TO BUY PAINT IN T DOT.Respect !
Collective is an institution that feeds the community in Toronto. Theres amazing staff, welcoming atmosphere, massive selection of paint and collectables. Also monthly events to push art, culture within the community. If you ever have a chance, stop by and check it out.
Cool hip hop culture items, paints, and vintage and new toys
I look very it the employees are a lot of good people there and the prices are amazing for spray paint and markers
Really great shop and great guys. If you are looking for collectives, grafitti supply, classic Nintendo stuff or other cool things, stop searching: this is the place you wanna go for!
