This is the largest of all the co optex show rooms. The collections are really good. The sarees here are handloom and beleive the quality is really good.

Had very good experience and staffs are very polite. They assist us till the store close and satisfied our requirements. Affordable price for silk sarees. Purchased silk material for my 2 yr child.Actually i went anna nagar co optex the staffs no one is consider the customers. Simply sitting and doing their own things. They dont have interest to assist customers.

Bought some cotton shirts with discount at a good price. Trial is not allowed. Slight shrinkage is possible since its cotton or linen.

Co-Optexs collections are unparalleled. Simply the best selection of handloom cottons and silks in India. The Egmore location has the most expansive collection, but the customer service at their Adyar branch is the best.

I would say this is the best place to have Authentic filter coffee with some Co Optex history. Staffs are doing a pretty good job.

Materials good but price not affordable

Nice ambiance and centrally located in Egmore, Pantheon road. Good place to buy hand woven silk saris and also cotton shirts and dhotis. The staff are somewhat indifferent or maybe they were tired during Diwali time. Collection are less whether it is silk saris or cotton shirts. Not much crowded even during Diwali time. Since this is a state government run shop they need to advertise more of the collection they have and also make people aware that buying from them will encourage the hand weavers in their livelihood.

One of the best collections available for Cotton Materials. I love this Government shop. You can buy sarees with abundant varieties. Now a days they have maintained good infrastructure as well. Customer service is really good. Especially I had a good service from bed spread area . I don’t know his name but he explained everything perfectly and showed lot of varieties. Parking facilities is also good. Visited every time when I Cross this Road

Best quality Handloom products at reasonable price

Had a very good shopping. It was the last day for the offer:Buy 2 get 1. Most of the stocks got over but the able to pick some with the limited ones. The collections are good. Spent more than 3hrs. Felt like the tops were not really appealing.

Renovated showroom. Fully air-conditioned. Access to rest room made more convenient. Car parking area as usual. Only gripe is that the access to the lift has been closed. But that is not a major issue and I have not reduced a star for that. Friendly staff as usual and discounts too as usual.

Their products are very costly. Some staffs are really very rude even though for that less crowded staff. I dont know how they would behave if there are more crowd. They should understand they are in customer facing position and they should answer customer questions. Especially the staffs in right side of first floor. I dont why all government staffs will be always be disrespectful.About Their products quality wise , it is very good as hand woven. Price is bit costly with discount it looks fine. But without that it is costly.

Great old place to buy clothes, not much collections though. Renovation is happening here now which is almost done. Hope they will bring some new collections here.. Very cheap clothes in price and good in quality compared with other branded showrooms. Help the handloom workers by buying clothes here at least once in a year. :) My kind request 😀

Cooptexs selection is very good - all kinds of traditional weaves in Cottons and silks and even niche products such as organic cotton. Also, the customer service is much improved now - one usually expects to have to beg to be served at govt. showrooms. Here, they actually show the product properly and well.

I was pass through this place many times, but i never felt to check the collection over here. Finally, i went with my boss for Diwali purchase. The collections was really awesome. They explained about the design, how and where it was made. Here you can get all types of silk sarees and handloom cotton sarees with variety of colours at affordable cost. Somewhere, it remains me my nativity.

I love shopping in Co-optex, especially since they have started individualizing their sarees with the name of the weaver. Great attempt at supporting indigenous artisans. And the sarees of course are gorgeous. There is very limited parking in front.

There are many shops within the complex. One tends to see only the one in front, but there are many more and one has to walk inside right to the end to find the others. No sign boards. Prices are very affordable.

The lady(short and lean) in Kanchipuram/ Arni Silk Sarees counter is a good sales women and she showed without any hesitation so many sarees. If they have more number of such people co optex can achieve greater heights. Hatsoff to that lady.
