Om saravana bhava...absolute peace can be felt while worshipping lord murugan in this temple and another beauty is that we can see big moolasthanam entrance which makes to view lord murugan valli and deivanai completely which is not convenient in other temples. Highlight of the temple is it is surrounded with pala maram in its nandhavanm ( around the temple ) which the devotees can use it for their good rituals with the blessings of lord murugan in their marriages and boomi poojai functions. Should inform priest ( iyer ) before taking the palakal from there.

Views outside from the temple is quite good.People have shamelessly scribbled even on shrine walls inside the temple. May be they didnt get a paper to express their love for their spouse or friends..

The temple was recently renovated and given a facelift. One of the oldest temple in this locality, the positive vibes can be felt when you visit the place. A little more organised informations will be of great help to a new or an occasional devotee, as there are hardly anyone to refer to.Parking space is available and few basic flowers and coconuts can be purchased at the entrance of the temple. But of you are looking for big garlands and Pooja items, my suggestion would be to purchase it when you are coming.There are quite a few steps to climb, hence elderly and people with health issues may find it difficult.
