Planetarium was amazing feels great to know something new .3D Shows is nice and kids surely like it.Park was filled with ancestral creatures good place to spend some times with kids.Forget about the mosquito bites inside theatre and enjooooooooy the show😋.

Good place to hangout during holidays. Kids will love this place. There are Parks inside with swing s and slides. 3d show and space show will be shown. Separate fee for parking. There is a dinosaur park inside and a canteen. It is situated near trichy airport.museum is also there dispaying solar system, planets,rockets,etc. Good place to spend time.

Nice place

This is one of the must visit place especially for kids to quench the thirst for science and knowledge. The theater and planetarium are really a treat to the visitors and the experience cannot be described fully in words. The parks and replica of the old age species are awesome. The entry fee charged by the administration is very reasonable. The Astro apparatus are required to be maintained regularly. The planetarium can accommodate reasonable crowd with ample space for car parking.

Good place to visit with kids to learn about the universe by watching the planetarium show in air-conditioned environment, enjoying 3D theatre and a shaded dinosaur park. Shaded with trees, parking available and a small snackateria. You can spend around 3 hours. Definitely good but lacks few maintenance.

Good place for kids. They able to spare time for useful things. Good service is rendered. But no doubt that there are lots of scope for improvement. It is over staffed with low responsibility. New shows should be included. Needs more popularity.

The Anna Science Centre, Tiruchirapalli was established by the Government of Tamil nadu and was inaugurated on 10 June 1999.The planetarium is located on the National highway 210 between Trichy and Pudukottai adjacent to the Tiruchirapalli Airport.The planetarium has an Environment Gallery which exhibits themes related to Eco systems, Bio-geochemical cycles, Bio-diversity and Conservation. The Science Centre has many three dimensional films like Shark Island, Magic Shows, Roller Coaster etc. The planetarium also has Vigyan Prasar, an Edusat Facility and Try Science – Around the World, a system that has details about the science centres in more than 50 countries.An Evolution Park has been added recently portraying Flora and Fauna of the three major periods of Evolution namely the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.The planetarium has shows in both Tamil  and English.Tamil shows will be at 10.30 am, 1.00 pm and 3.30 pm.In English shows will be at 11.45 am, 2.15 pm and 4.45 pm.

Anna Science Planetarium is a wonderful place to learn basic astrophysics for young children and adolescents people.

I went there Three years back. Very good place.

Wen I was a kid I remember watching some great shows there, but it luks like a haunted house now.....

Each show is for 40 min and in English or tamil language. . So enquire about the show timing ang language. . There is a botanical garden nearby and it is also good. .

Enquire timings before u plan on specified day. Totally 2 to 3 hrs u can spend there. Just basic dont expect too much.

The planetarium is located on the National Highway 210 between Trichy and Pudukkottai, near the Tiruchirappalli International Airport.

I went here a few years ago .. The video footage was very good .. Fantastic explanation about the star gatherings .. Got the chance to go there again last week ... Currently the video footage of Nila Nila Odi Vaa is shown. It is a video linked to photos and videos on the website .. their quality is not clear .. there is nothing scientifically known in it .. only some stories and superstitions were told. It will be useful for you to be aware of both types of two word expressions.
