When in this morning and got a torta, didnt look at the price, but there is hardly any meat on it. Last time I am buying from there. Would not recommend.Meat has no flavor, could tell the tomatoes are not fresh, lengua tacos where to hard, not much flavor to them.

I like this place.The pan is good. I don’t go here often. The prices went up very quickly! The last time I went here I spent 16 dollars for 8 pieces of pan. They only have one lady at the register. So you need to be patient when you’re in line to pay. The place is always cleaned. They sell coffee too!

Good food bad service. Cashiers take forever to acknowledge customers wether they are doing something or talking to the cooks in the front. Hours are until 9 pm but kitchen closes at 8 or they are always out of half of the menu before 8pm .

I would give 0 stars if I could. Waited almost half an hour for my VEGETARIAN burrito. I finally get home and it is filled to the brim with the one thing I specifically told them not to add.... Meat. U guys filled a vegetarians burrito with meat and I called 7 times, no answer, no voicemail. I live too far away to go back, I am very upset and will not return unless for my refund.

Loved this place but when I went for lunch it was different. Tortillas seemed too hard. The lengua was way to chewy and the carnitas seemed dry.

The burrito rancheros is the way to go ..amazing flavor perfect meat to bean and rice ratio ..truly a must recommend ..and by thw way great staff and cant forget amazing price for quality food

Never been. your typical hole in the wall that has been apart of the community for many years. i had the pollo ranchero. it comes with tasty rice and bean. i wish there was more chicken. it was 7 bucks!! the 2 ladies behind the counter were so charming and helpful. i cant wait to come back for breakfast and the bakery. mucho tasty

Very traditional. Home cooked Mexican. Tasty, but not real hot! Very good bread & pasteries. Inexpendive. They take cash only.

Place does NOT accept cash. Food was below mediocre. You cant make any changes to the food whatsoever. They dont offer grilled chicken enchiladas but they have a grilled chicken torta. They cant put grilled bellpeppers and onions inside cheese enchiladas, however they do come in the shredded chicken enchiladas. When asked if they could have leave chicken out of the enchiladas, they said no. Unbelievable. Oh and my wife got sick from their food. My torta was dry. I usually love hole in the wall spots but this didnt cut it. Maybe theyre better known for their pastries I guess, hence the 5 star reviews.

So Ive been eating at this place since it opened. When they were only in the small corner shop before they took over the doughnut shop next ro them.Back in the late 80s, and the best thing there to have is the lengua (toung) tacos. They taste is exact same as they did back then, the carne asada as well, the salsa is the same. The tamales have changed not as good as they use to be, so I stick to rhe lengua and asada tacos. Everytime I come back in town feom Az this is a must have for me. You wont regret it.Wish they had opened the sexond store in indio would have been closer to me but rhwy opened one in DHS not sure why or if that one is even open still. You guys would kill it in indio with the lengua tacos!!!!.

I have been eating here since I was a child. Their tamales are my earliest childhood memories and they taste just as good to me today, 35 years later, as they did to me then. There is something about this wholesome ready for your mouth food that will leave you wanting for more and craving your next trip here.

Unassuming building, kinda run down, not the most sanitary place, but not bad enough, Im pretty picky and I still eat here. But the food is darn good I must say. Easy 5 star food all around. Prices are fair, actually kinda low for the quality. Portions are big. Staff is friendly, food comes out fast.

First I would like to apologize to that I not did not take any pictures I ordered the two little and then I ordered the chili verde tacos I was still hungry I got the red chile enchiladas with rice and beans and it was very very good staff was beautiful and awesome thank you Villa Bakery for such great service and awesome food

Quality and service used to be top notch. Sadly its diminishing. Bread selection is good only during certain times of the day not like before fully stocked all day and most of the night. Hopefully they address this issue.

Food is OK and the girls who take orders could be way friendlier or atl least pretend they like their job.

Great little Hispanic bakery. Sort of a hole-in-the-wall place that one needs to know about, (or be referred to) or youll miss it. Friendly, family owned & operated business. Its small but quaint and clean. They make yummy, fresh Mexican pastries. But they also cook savory foods, including one of the best tacos in the desert! The prices are quite reasonable, but heads up: If you go, bring cash. They dont accept credit or debit cards. If they did, Id have given this little gem all 5 Stars. Its worth the trip, or if youre at the Palm Springs Walmart shopping center, do yourself a favor and seek out the Villa Bakery just across the street on Ramon Road. Youll be HaPpY you did. 😊

Absolutely have the best homemade salsa and chips, chips are made to order so take a couple of mins but worth the wait. Have my entire family buying from only here!!! Make sure you request the largest cup you wont be disappointed.

I found hair in my taco, and saw cockroaches walking around!. Yes the food is good!. But it’s not that clean!. And if accidents happen inside the place!. People act like they didn’t see!. The smell of the parking lot is like if you are inside their restroom!. It always smells bad!. Worst place i ever went!. It should b check by the food and drug administration!. Better go somewhere else if you don’t want to end up having a stomachache! 😷

Placed an order online, Showed up 20 minutes later, my order was not ready, had to wait another 20 minutes in store, my order was two sandwiches, not worth it at all save yourself some time and order elsewhere. Not the first time to happen here, they dont care about the client only the money

They serve good, traditional Mexican food at a very reasonable price. For the same amount you would spend on dinner for two people across the street at Goodys, you can get dinner plus plenty of pastries here (and the Mexican food at Goodys is barely passable anyway). If thats what youre craving, go here instead.

Today I decided I wont go there anymore. The cashier do not acknowledge you when you walk in and theyre constantly ignore you and talk to the cooks or someone else while youre standing there trying to order they also interrupt you to give someone else their order. Theyre unprofessional its pathetic. They shouldnt talk about other customers to other employees its ridiculous.
