Im so thankful I got the chance to visit this incredible community during my field trip. I met many solar mamas who were here to learn how to make solar panels so they could come back to light up their houses and other peoples lives. What an incredible education and development initiative designed to change the lives of many people around the world! Please keep doing the great work!

I visited barefoot college with school friends and it is a very good place to learn many things

It was pleasure meeting Aarti Devi Ji after 2 years. I met her for the first time during the #Jagritiyatra 2013. She is the editor and programme director at the #Tilonia community radio station. This CRS established an on-going dialogue with the rural communities in Tilonia. Despite having lived in Jaipur for over three years, it is such a shame that I never even heard about Barefoot college. Change most certainly happens at the roots and it is that change which truly makes a difference. The story of Barefoot college, giving hope to the hopeless and light in the persistent dark.

Great movement. This the new campus. Also, has the craft shop. Great place to learn and get inspired.

This place is a haven for many rural women who have been trained in building Solar reflectors by Mr. Wolfgang Scheffler and his wife.With some technical support, the place could be upscaled as a model carbon free village and community.Also Solar Mama program which runs here to train uneducated women from all the poor economies of the world is a great initiative!

No doubt this must be a good college....I am a student of MISB Institute and feel proud to be a part of MISB. One of great Colleges in India. I am having loads of Experiences there. Friends I would love to recommend to join this college.

Had a great chance to meet Aruna maam and Bunker roy, They are very inspiring. The place itself is so welcoming and people here are very helpful. local people might not know it as barefoot college just ask for sanstha ( it mean institution) . So barefoot has two campus, Old and new one. you ll not find any signage directing towards barefoot college. Ask any villager for direction , everyone call it a sanstha. Best time to visit is october to February. Take care of mosquito/ snakes / insect/ extreme heat

Recently, during an orientation programme held at CPDHE/Delhi University, I came to know about the Barefoot College. Saw the video/documentary with an impressive presentation by Bunker Roy............It was excellent......really impressed.....! This documentary must be watched by all teachers and students of Business, Entrepreneurship and Management.Prof. Amar Nath Gupta, Delhi University.
