This is one of the best places where one can visit in Palghar region. Its very much famous for the God fish or locally called as Devmasa who reside in the flowing waters near the Shiv temple. The place has a rock valley kind of structure which has formed naturally over the course of time and becomes a good spot for nature lovers, the place is also good for clicking some amazing and vibrant pictures.
Tilseshwar is a shiv mandir situated 8 km away from wada town (Thane). It is well know by its holliness and pleasant location on the bank of vaitarna river. People believed that it is constructed by five pandava brothers in one night. A huge fair in honour of lord Shiva is held every year on the occasion of Shivratri. You can see there a huge shivling in the main inner sanctum, water rushing through mighty rocks and the more attractive thing is their fishes.
Good place to visit near wada but road is very rough from wada itself. Try to avoid going in afternoon in summer days also carry water bottles. At sunset times its very beautiful there

Shri Kshetra Tilseshwar is a Pandava Shiva temple. The temple is located in the river Vaitarna. Surrounded by water on all four sides, the temple is on a stone square. There is another bridge to the temple, connecting to the main bridge over the river. The temple has a Pandava Shivling.Legend has it that Lord Ramachandra lived here for some time while living in the forest with Sita. From the temple itself, there is a beautiful view of the rushing water of Vaitarna.Devotees flock to the temple in the evening. On the south-eastern side of the temple, there are deep water ponds created by nature. In this pond, you can see big fish. The fish is called Devmase because of the beliefs of the locals. The alternative is not to fish them. At any time except the rainy season, you can see these fish from a distance of a handful. These fish have become a subject of curiosity and attraction here.Every Monday in the month of Shravan and on Mahashivaratri, devotees from Panchkrushi line up to perform the anointing on the temple pindi. On Mahashivaratri, a grand procession takes place at this place. Thousands of devotees are present at this time.As Shivam Sundaram says, God has really showered beauty in this place
Millions of devotees pay a visit to Tilasareshwar temple at Tilsa in Wada taluka for Mahashivratri. However, due to the large number of pits on the Wada-Tilsa road, devotees will have to travel hard and take Shiv Darshan. Though there are millions of devotees gathering for the Maha Shivaratri at Tilleswara, the Public Works Department has neglected road repairs.Every year, the ancient Shiva temple on the Vaitaran river in Tilse, in the Wada taluka of Palghar, takes a big trip every year for Mahashivratri. More than five lakh devotees visit here. Even though temple management is ready for the Mahashivratri pilgrimage on Friday, the route from Wada to Tilsa-Khardi towards this temple has been reversed and huge potholes have made the path of Shiva devotees difficult. The Shil Temple is very ancient in the middle of the river. Millions of devotees come from every year in Gujarat, including Palghar, Thane, Mumbai, Nashik, to pay pilgrimage every year. Many devotees come to this day without footwear. This year, however, huge potholes have fallen on this road. Citizens say the public works department has tried to fill up some potholes, but the rubble has made the road even more dangerous. Devotees will have to walk through this cliff as the vehicles are stopped at a distance of two kilometers from the temple.Due to the potholes on the Wada-Tulsa road, thousands of vehicles are coming in at the same time, the traffic problem will be more serious and there is a high risk of traffic congestion. Villagers here are also expressing fear of accident due to the dirt road. When asked about the officials of the Public Works Department in this regard, they did not respond.
