There is ground for football, cricket, basketball, hockey etc. Library, Gym is also there. The hostels are within the college compound. The placement records are good. Thanks to this great institution which has made me what I am today. Great college with excellent teaching staff. Facilities for extra curricular activities are also great. Library facilities have improved, I heard. Good place to nurture your talents in arts and sports, also politics. The canteen was great in those days. The foundation stone of the college Main Building was laid down by the then Hon. Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Prof. S. Rajaraman, a Civil Engineer of international repute and author of several books in engineering was the first Principal of the college. The triumvirate of Prof. S. Rajaraman, Prof. M. P. Mathew and Prof. V. S. Nair (the then Head of the Departments of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, respectively) provided a strong administrative base for the college and efficiently carried out the groundwork for the onward growth and development of the college. Massive concrete buildings within a green environment.Different type of grounds/playgrounds are arranged for cricket, football, hockey, basketball etc. games. Had an interview there.The students of that college were really supportive and helping.The hall at which the interview took place was a great place. The toilet was not that much tidy. The canteen was difficult to find and there were no sign boards there. A good college.
