My hostel!!!!!Hated it first (as always as a hostel) but now I am craving for those days in my life😿...Very good ambience , a beautiful garden well maintained by sisters , visitors room , chapel, around 40- 50 rooms(rooms for 1 /2/3/4 person (s)with and without bathroom ) available. Common bathrooms are also present. 2 study halls and a new one is currently under construction. Lockers are present in study halls. Water supply is present in study halls and near mess hall. A spacious mess hall and terrace is present. Washing machine , clothe drying area and iron box available.(A shop is also present just beside it where you could give your clothes to get ironed) . A super duper alarm present for students😱. The convent and hostel is maintained by sisters and they are very friendly. Food depends on the cook. Visitors are allowed everyday.The hostel is situated near poonkunnam railway station and it takes only 15 minutes drive to thrissur railway station.For foodies;Womens food court , jaya bakery , burger hub , indian coffee house, food home , amul . (only 10 minutes to walk)For shopping ;There is a stationary shop adjacent to the hostel and bismi supermarket is so near .Many mosques , temples and churches are present in the vicinity of the hostel.It is near thekkinkaad maidan and thiruvambady.You have many internet cafe near it.The hostel is recommended for everyone and you will get everything you wish in its vicinity. It has all the characteristics of a hostel and people who are homesick and who cannot adjust even a bit are not encouraged to this place by me.
