Could be a part of the open air live barbecue dinner hosted by Joys palace. Need to mention, the ambience was simple and elegant. Staffs were very friendly especially Mr. Arun. He needs a special mention as he took extra pain to keep us feel at ease. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Salads and soups also added to the happiness of our taste buds. The lights and the pool side feel was good… Thanks a lot Team JOY PALACE for making our day special.

Organized an event 2 week back at this hotel. Staff attitude very bad. Frequent power failure. Took 30 min to serve a black tea for chief guest . Rooms and facility good.

The star feature of the hotel is the gym. Though Joys Palace has only managed to provide the basic equipments and machines, they have done well to come up with an exceptional trainer- Jilin John. Being an expert in both strength training and yoga, Jilin has been able to help his clients reach their fitness goals, over the years. Above all, I believe its his sincerity and pleasant nature that is responsible for creating the positive environment in the gym; which makes us want to go again. All the regulars at the gym are also very friendly and their company makes the time at the gym effortless. So if you are ever at Joys, do visit the gym. You might finally get the boost to reach your fitness goals!

It is a very good place for arranging functions. Different sized air conditioned halls are available, suitable to different needs. Ample space for car parking.A nice place with nice ambience, good parking space, good attractive hall , excellent service perfect destination for events.

One of my favorite hotels in Thrissur. Always a joy to visit the Joys palace. Courteous staff and good amenities. Their beef dishes are usually excellent.

The place has run down over the years. Was once a easy pick for short transit stays. Some renovation work is now necessary to get back there.

A disastrous Onam Sadya from Joys palace kitchen.. With somuch expectations, we ordered onam sadya and paid 2k for the box of 4 pax. The packaging was so good, especially the box. But quality and quantity of food was a big let down. The only good ones were pineapple curry, pickle and halwa. Rest all was so pathetic. There was a curry which was atleast couple of days old with a foul smell. Palada was tasting odd. Overall it was a complete waste of money. Never again Joys and ordering Sadya. Packed sadya cant compete with Home made sadya. A lesson learnt.

In this covid times I had the opportunity to experience the hospitality of Joys palace and they didnt disappointed me, Good service, decent room and mediocre food, it was a memorable time well spend with family at Joys Palace.

I have been enjoying a club membership with Joy Palace. I have been suffering with back pain for long, doctor suggested me to do work out on core muscles. When I discussed this with the trainer in health club ( Mr. Jilin jhon) who supported me and within one week my pain reduced to tremendous level. Heis best trainer with patience and humility. He made me to do stretching exercises by supporting many levels. I find a best solution for my back pain and than Jilin for excellent support.

The food .In a word. Disappointed.Was better couple of months ago. They have started a combo menu that differs everyday.Today was a Chinese combo . The dragon as they call. Dont screw up ur reputation in the game of coming on swiggy n other platformsThe combo consists of- dragon chicken :portion was good . Flavour , lost back in China. Should rename it as honey glazed chicken. It was way to sweet for any mallu palate.- fried rice :Portion was good . Flavour, Blant. Was more like a boiled rice with chicken and no salt.- noodles :Portion was good . Was over over cooked thus sticky . Blah , lifeless .- chilly gobi :Portion good . Better than other lifeless items on the combo.Verdict : portion was good . Flavour was ... but wait . *Flavour left the chat *Package was below standard keeping a 5 star classified hotel in mind . Aluminum containers with scrap paper top. Seriously guys? .

Banquette halls are pretty decent , although will be great if you guys could keep the restrooms clean and tidy. Condition of the toilets where pretty bad for such a big hotel.Seemed understaffed , probably due to the covid season.Location and the ambience is pretty great . Good parking. Although do give some attention towards improving the hospitality and house keeping in general.

Engagement function of our daughter was held on 21st Feb . The guests and myself who attended the function were extremely happy with the arrangements and service provided by the front office team. I stayed with my family at the joys palace hotel for 2 days. It was a very memorable stay. Very cooperative staff and ready to guide you in every possible way. rooms were very neat and comfortable. We gathered there for a charity organization meeting.. totally 25 people attended the meeting . Spacious well maintained hall with nicely arranged tables and chairs with a perfect mic and speaker facility . food ordered was also good.

Came here for cousins wedding. The wedding reception hall on the 5th floor was well decorated and the interior looked amazing, but the washrooms were pretty below average for the standards of a 5 star hotel. The food was even just average.

The construction and architecture in the hotel building is very beautiful like a palace.The hotel is well maintained and neat. Their services are also good. Ragesh was helping us through the bookings and he made sure all our requirements were met and he gave amazing recommendations for our trip. We needed 22 Rooms immediately and he made it work that day by providing us the rooms and food for all our wedding party. And elegant place for wedding engagement and get together.. they also provide buffet lunch... The parking place is sufficient and properly maintained with friendly staff. The elevation is excellent. The front office and the lobby are well maintained. Palace like feel on handrails and pillars of first floor. The overall experience was pleasant and excellent.

Well managed hotel. Very close to the private bus stand that is the Shakthan Thamburan bus stand. Walking distance from the stand when going to the famous vadakkumnatha temple. The staffs are really cooperative. For any programs, they have halls with good seating capacity. House of nobles is one among them.

I went there to give my IELTS. They have maintained the hotel very well. The staff behavior is very good. There is a banquet hall for occasion. Plenty of parking space available. The best part its near Sakthan bus stand and everyone can spot it very easily.

As we are fighting with Covid pandemic, staying in a hotel in these days is very tough and risky. Hygiene conditions in the room were good.

This review is about their breakfast buffet and I would undoubtedly give 5 stars for it. It is charged for 300 person and it is worth all the money. The menu: vada, idli, oothappam, ela ada, poori, muffins, croisaant, breads, eggs in all forms and varieties, sausages, live counter for puttu, dosa and eggs, coffee, tea, milk shakes, fruit juices, cornflakes, chocos, milk, dry fruits, pancakes and everything possible for a breakfast. And everything is of top quality and great taste.The service was so good, they constantly kept asking us if we want anything but never pestered us. The timing is from 7.30 to 10 am but we stayed there until around 11 and there wasnt any issue.

The arrangement of food was awesome... All food items filled my tummy as well as my mind.. There is a small gaming facility for small kids inside the dining area which is very attractive for childrens.. And the aquarium setup inside and outside the dining area is remarkable... Hosted a wedding reception at their banquet hall. The reception went well. There was ample parking space and good security. The decoration agency that was provided by the hotel did a great job arranging the stage and venue. The food served was good, got good feedback from guests. They have a very large selection of dishes to choose the buffet lineup from. The staff was professional and managed the buffet very well.overall a good experience.
