Doctors and staffs are caring and friendly, taking appointment prebooking physical presence in this advanced time is a disadvantage. Security staffs are little rude to the people. I witnessed a pregnant lady and her family were ashamed and blocked their way by a security guard and she was near the way to the labour room. His statement was they have to round the building and enter through another way, that lady was tired because she was near to her delivery time. Systems should be easy for needed people. Food from the canteen should be improved, I took my scooter to the hospital only to arrange good food for my family from outside the hospital.

1)No direct contact with main doctors, mainly house surgeons are always roaming around, and they are always doubtful when some changes happened in patients conditions.2)The WORSE NURSING CARE for the patient, got infected from medical ICU in the Pvt parts,3 weeks admitted in the hospital with various medical conditions.requested many times to nurses to clean properly as my father was bedridden and Im not a nurse to do it properly.they neglected it always with a rude face and always saying some reasons;and after got discharge from there we seek help from a private agency and we got shocked after seeing the condition there.by gods grace it got cured within some days.3) irresponsible staffs..4)MRI section treating patients like animals...if a patient is in normal condition they can lie properly on that MRI table...please please.... MRI staffs please purchase some proper stretchers or something to shift a bedridden patient to the table from the stretcher..please consider aged and bedridden patients as humans 🙏🙏🙏Most important advice is that if u or ur relatives r admitted with a serious condition please appoint a bystander who completed Nursing atleast Assistant nursing course🙏🙏🙏🙏

Fr. Gabriel is the founder. But after he lost the control, the hospital stated moving towards business line. Now they are far away from the service minds. I had a worst experience due to the carelessness of the nursing staff. The doctor came to the spot and threw she away the devices. I thank the doctor who changed dangerous situation to normal one.

Such a pathetic service, sitting outside for a long time with my 6 month old daughter. Doctor consulting their own staff (sorry I don’t say consulting, may be they are chatting each other). I asked one of the staff she said consulting time depend upon the patient. Homeopathic consulting one hour??? This is my first experience. And after that my wife came out within ten minutes. That means they are giving more important their own staff rather than 6 months old child

Not at all satisfied. Actually they are robbing the patients. Have heard that Amala is one of the best private hospital in Thrissur. But now its Just Factory to loot the money from the people. When my dad was told to check for a Blood test, they billed for 5500+ for that. For that same Blood test in other hospitals, it was only 1700 Rs (Almost 4000 Rs difference in a single blood test). And the room rents are also very high than the other hospitals. But the hospital is having many Excellent Doctors, thats the only positive thing in this hospital now.

I write on behalf of my wife Freeda Jose who just discharged today from obg department. It was a re- admission following discharge on 10th july for missed abortion with the assurance that endometrial thickness 23. It was fine during that time. However, due to the severe bleeding and pain, admitted again 2 days before. On 12 th, pain has increased @ 2pm and nurses told me that they were informed to house surgeon. She was extremely painful that time,i guess nobody will suffer like this. Even a normal delivery pain will finish once the baby comes out but, here this pain is throughout for the last 4 days.at last, an emergency usg has carried out and we got report which says endometrial thickness 34, after i personally escalated the matter with labour room staff. Then we wait again 1 hour again what to be done. We were ready for the procesure for d and c from the day 1.At last, again i went to the labour room i shout with them. They said they have only a pg. I said, how you will manage if u get 5 cases at a time and explained all again. It was a terrefic time. Finally, Dr Radha and team have arrived and done the necessary action. This is all regarding doctors negligence. If we have knowledge and know the condition, only our patient will survive at Amala Hospital.Regarding nurses, they didnt even dont know how to smile properly and to give basic IV cannulation management. As has blood transfusion, its prone to get clot any time. Moreover ,inj lasix was also given. I said them to use 10 cm extenstion and 100 ml ns to be connected,in order to clear the route, felt them badly. Finally, during dischaege time, noone was there to shift the patient and our self done it.Now towards Amala management, im not sure how u got NABH Accreditation. There was no infection control nurse or any other senior nurses to do rounds there. Im sorry and pray, noone should be treated such a way. Fr.Grabriel had a good intention towards this.kindly all of you shouldnt spoil it.Thank you.

The staff was sensitive to the needs of both the patient and the relative with the patient. However there is definitely an expectation especially from a catholic institution to reach out to those who are helpless and approch for help other than monetary needs. If one has No one to stay with them either relatives or friends, sorry to say but treatment to such patients are denied.

I had a very bad experience from Amala Hospital Medical Oncology Department on 17.02.2020(Dr.Anil Jose Thazhath OP).It is very disappointing experience from this reputed hospital.I am very sorry to say majority of Staff nurses (Medical Oncology Department)were irresponsible or not service minded. The way of communication was so poor. After taking appointment we have spent more than 5 hours there. But we cant consult the doctor. This attitude will spoil the good will of the hospital.

Amala is a good hospital when it comes to senior doctors.especially ent ie dr.sreedevi. and dr.pooja both docs are too good .but when it comes to casualty its too pathetic if junior doctors are attending .and if rang to enquire the doctors the receptionist who attends the telephone and the one who attends call at casualty doesnt know how to talk .people do ring to a hospital cos they are ill .so its a suggestion to select staffs who are humane.

This for the services. The system is not at all patient friendly. A patient should have more than 2 bystanders otherwise it would be difficult to stay in big queue and go to different departments. Also the staffs are very rude and not soft spoken.Once when I went there for my brothers treatment, they asked us to go to the insurance dept for paperwork. Insurance ppl asked us to talk to nurse dept to make the discharge sheet ready so that we can move early the next day. When we informed this to the nursing station, they were asking us to go to the insurance dept again to tell them to call the nursing dept. Cant these nursing dept call the insurance dept from there itself and enquire??? Why they need the patient bystanders to roam here and there. Both the wings are in different blocks far away with longer queue always.
