Its a wonderful Indian restaurant with beautiful decor and a romantic atmosphere. The staff wear traditional Indian clothes which makes you feel the Indian vibe. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. The food was lovely. A lil bit pricey but worth it. The toilets are clean and have nice scent but the toilet seat is too high for a 53 woman like me 🤣. They have a big car park but the driveway that connects to the A38 is very short and you need to drive with extreme care when coming off or onto the main road.

The best restaurant ever fantastic food and the service is outstanding. You probably need to book! Friday was awesome even though the many staff were so busy. Well done Nav and team xx

Amaising, the food was very good ,tasty and very nice place

I have used this restaurant for over 2 years. Through lockdown when they were open for takeaway only, then outside dining then back to normal dining indoors. All of the staff are second to none, friendly, helpful and professional. This mixed with the beautiful food makes this the best Indian restaurant in the Burton area and probably the midlands. Thanks Anoki for all of your service and beautiful food.

This is a very large restaurant with staff that are very friendly. No alacarte during the visit only a limited menu BUT the waiters did offer alternatives and so you could get something that suited your tastes. A nice touch I thought. The starters averaged around £8 whilst the mains were £19 plus. Theres options on a set menu which gives you unlimited rice and nan breads. Theres also a loyalty scheme which some people might like to buy in to. Now the food itself is excellent and whilst the price for a main course might be excessive there is quite a big plateful to get through.Overall it was a good visit , nice well dressed staff in traditional outfits , excellent food . For me no draft beer on tap was disappointing but they do sell Cobra and Kingfisher in large bottles.

Food is very good, quite nice decor and team wearing traditional clothing is pretty cool, but be aware of prices!(hence why 4 out of 5)It works well if you have membership card but if its only one-off in the evening expect to pay a lot.2 starters, 2 currys, one beer and coke @£85

Beware that getting here is awkward. The exit is from a Dual carriage way. Youll see the signs and when google maps says it is coming up and you cant see an exit, it is correct. It is a sharp stop/turn.And whilst thats awkward, it is totally worth it. The food is absolutely amazing and, from what I could tell since I was picking up food, the decor and the hospitality is lovely. The wait staff are all dressed up in traditional uniforms and there are ornate place settings. It looked very fancy.The food is definitely worth it though.

After a disappointing last visit we decided to try this place again as it has always been brilliant in the past , really glad we did as they are back in the game and food was excellent with amazing service, we were really looked after and I don’t normally say this in a decent restaurant but we actually got very good value for money, food was very fresh, cooked to perfection and they have made a massive effort to keep it Covid safe, well done lads you should be very proud of yourselves as the food was top draw, look forward to visiting you soon as it was back to its best 🙏👍👍👌👏👏👏

An absolute 5 star dining experience, with great food, quality and choice. The decor and ambiance is perfect and we were served by a waiter called Sheetal, he was amazing and catered for a Jain menu and ensured we had really nice vegetarian dishes. Highly recommend!

Hands down the worst tasting over priced restaurant Ive been to, we had some fish for starters which tasted like a pond fish and was supposedly meant to be cod fish, fries were made I old oil, the curries tasted standard, and they had no desserts as they were out of stock. Waste of time, never would go there again!!!

Nice place to visit on your anniversary or any sort of celebrations, traditionally dressed staff, fresh food. Prices are a little bit higher than average but you have to pay for this level of service

Brilliant meal, we opted for the 5 course BBQ menu so we could all try different foods. It was also my mothers birthday so they suprised her with a cake and firework for a extra special touch. Decor, staff service and presentation all full marks too.

Amazing food and atmosphere

Went to Anoki in Burton, they had two big marques in the carpark area. It was very busy, busier than Ive ever seen it!! Although I booked, they also accept walk-ins. The marques had the sides down so it helped keep the heat in and it felt warmer than Ive been elsewhere which was lovely for outdoor dining, altho some may not agree it was quite outdoors as u felt pretty much enclosed!! 😬Food was okay. I wouldnt recommend the mushroom starter or the seabass curry, unless u like a sweet cocunut curry, but Keema aloo was nice. Service was a bit hit and miss, but staff seemed rushed off thier feet. Good atmosphere because it was busy. Ive dined at Anoki plenty of times, this time I intentionally ordered some different dishes, I wont try to be so adventurous next time!! Lol

We arrived for outside dining due to covid , and had been there the previous week and been treated as normal in a restaurant ie you take your time choose your drinks , food etc. This time we were given a set menu due to covid ? We said we had come last week and had what we wanted, to which the waiter replied it’s too busy now ! So popadoms came for 4 people, which was 2 popadoms literally broke into 8 pieces with 4 tiny dips. Then within 5 minutes to our amazement the waiter bought the starters and the main courses together ! Again we were told this is because they are busy . We ate our food by the time we had finished our meal we had been in the restaurant 35 minutes !We had bought a client from Nottinghamshire , we were embarrassed of the whole situation. To top it all off just as we were leaving the people at the table next to us arrived and were given the main menu !!At that point I asked the waiter what was going on and why they had been able to choose what they want yet we had to have a set meal ( to which the waiter replied it’s due to Ramadan ) . We paid the bill , then were approached to sign up for a loyalty card , priceless. We also noticed there was a 90 minute table allowance . Greed has taken presidency over quality .

Food is ok but i have to admit i feel like they dont appreciate my custom. Been there probably 5 times within the last few weeks. Service is lacking, i had an issue when i asked for masala chips they gave it to me last week but on the weekend replied ‘too busy now.’ You should never be too busy for people who pay you’re wages and bills. We own our own business and would go that extra mile for any customer of ours to show our appreciation. I also came yesterday with my family it felt like no waiter bothers with us after they serve the food. Not going back again.

Absolutely shocking. Placed order at 5pm for collection at 7.30pm. I live 20 minutes away and when I got home the food was cold. Phoned the restaurant Anoki in Burton and received a unprofessional lady who kept putting me on mute because she didnt know how to deal with the issue. Offered me 20% off my order.Order was over £30 and the meal was spoiled but they could not appreciate this one bit. Refused to collect the food and offer the full refund. Expected me to drive back to the restaurant if I wanted to exchange my meal.Expected better customer service and hugely expected the quality of food to be better.Disappointed is a understatement and will not be eating or recommend Anoki takeaway to anyone.

Attended last nights service. Booked it as a 3 year anniversary present for my wife. Called them in advance to ensure there is a cake at the end. However, once we finished no one seemed to know about it and it didnt happen, very disappointing.Food wise, I would miss the starters but the main courses were great. 3 stars for the mains being highly priced however (£20 average here, whereas in other Indian restaurants theyre £10-13.Nice venue.

Best Indian Ive ever had. Only started ordering here at the Start of Covid. Had a few now and they are delectable. I drive from Rugeley to collect them, they are that nice. Most Indian take aways around here make you feel horrible after eating them. Here the flavours are incredible and you dont feel like your going to have a heart attack after eating it. Would highly recommend there take aways or a restaurant visit.

We didnt recieve the masala sauce we ordered. I phoned them to explain and spoke to one of the rudest people Ive ever encountered in customer service. They couldnt deliver a sauce in a reasonable time, so I asked them to resend my meal when they could as I didnt want dry chicken and dry rice. However I was told this was not possible as it was my fault the Masala sauce was missing because I ordered Chicken Pakora which isnt on the menu??? Im still working out the logic on that one.

The food is OK, but not great. Its very expensive and having eaten here a few times and had takeaway meals, Ive noticed that the quality of the meat is quite poor. Unfortunately, Anoki doesnt live up to the hype and far better places are nearby at a fraction of the price. Having now found somewhere much better 2 miles away, we wont be back.

Lovely meal

A lovely, friendly atmosphere and staff were so attentive and polite. Great place for family get togethers as had my nephews birthday there. Food was lovely and staff catered for everyones needs. Will definitely recommend Anoki restaurant to family and friends

Food here was spot on. Everything we ordered was presented very well with attention to details. Service was good too.

This used to be the place to go for fine indian cuisine and amazing customer service......now at a time when businesses need every customer they can get Anoki are pushing people away. On xmas eve they forgot about our order and left me waiting in the carpark for 45 minutes after the allotted collection time..i then travel an hour home to find i am missing my meal...my families meal was ruined and all they offered was the money for the missing meals and 5% off if i wanted to return dor another meal....this was the third time there had been issues with our meal....my advice...dont go there.

Overpriced and rubish

The only great thing about this Restaurant is the decor and presentation. The actual food in itself is nothing special at all.You would expect something that was either unique or atleast tastes authentic. The meat does not taste fresh and their dishes taste like a standard curry you could buy for the quarter of the price from most other restaurants in Derby. The starters were good but again nothing out of this world.The waiters are probably the worst Ive ever come across. Youd expect a designated waiter managing your table but no they seemed rushed off their feet with no attention to any table unless they were called over.Overall Absolutely terrible service and Average food, for the prices they have - Chicken Tikka Main is circa £22 youd expect this to be 5 star food and service. The food is 3 Star and the Service 1 star.Highly disappointed, was expecting much better.

Food and restaurant are amazing always, although on the more expensive side. Service was rather slow though, we asked for the bill after waiting a long time after our desserts and it still hadnt appeared 30 mins later so we had to ask again. Covid measures seemed set up well though which was reassuring.

Great meal as usual, we had the taster menu (not on the menu), its great they will cook what you want not limited by the menuCovid update, we got the eat out to help out discount, they allowed us to sit outside and staff work face coverings. They took customer details for track and trace.

I placed my order for food at 3 pm on THURS for delivery on Friday. My immediate neighbour placed an order for food before 1 pm on the Friday. Both meals expected Friday p.m. We made plans later to eat together. I chased my order at 8 p.m., was cut off and then on ringing back they checked my neighbours order and made no comment on mine just that they would get it delivered by 8.30 p.m. I then discovered my neighbour had her food by 4 p.m! Obviously we had been forgotten. It arrived at 8.45 p.m. An evening ruined by spending my time constantly checking at our front window and no meal prepared and no meal with our neighbours. I ended up with a sandwich at 9 p.m. I will never order again and I advise anyone else that if you want your food delivered timely and with caring customer service don’t bother. I don’t like posting bad reviews publicly but there is no way to contact them directly on their website. Says it all really.

Food quality and service has all most definitely dropped. Been here many times, and todays visit was very disappointing. Food quality was awful service slow with very miserable staff.Will not be dining here again.

I visited this restaurant yesterday for the first time. The decor is pretty impressive . We had booked in advance and were greeted and seated straight away .The restaurant was busy but we were served quite quickly. The prices were quite high but we were willing to pay extra for good food . My brother ordered the lamb chops and I ordered the garlic mushroom dish. The chops lacked flavour. My garlic mushroom dish was basically eating raw mushrooms. I am not exaggerating. Very disappointed but thought the mains would be far better. I was wrong.My 2 vegetarian dishes lacked flavour. My brother had a meat dish which again lacked flavour.I have read some of the other reviews and the blandness seems to be a reoccurring theme. I do hope the restaurant takes this on board. There are so many Indian spices to choose from so there is no excuse.

Previously held a Gold Card and were considering a new Black card but not after tonights experience. Friends ordered a meal for us at 7 pm through Just Eat for 8 pm. When we enquired about delivery at 8.45, the apology came with an offer of ONE bottle of beer .... for four people... on a bill of £70! Now 9.05 and still waiting. Shocking.

Easily one of the best quality tasting Indian take away meals Ive ever eaten!We had never tried Anoki express before this purchase, but Im glad we did as the quality and presentation was perfect.We have recently tried the London road branch and we found in our opinion the A38 Anoki was far superior in quality.Really pleased we tried Anoki now and will definitely return!

Absolutely brilliant great meal and great staff

Veg dishes are very highly priced. The new menu they have does not mention the price for alacarte menu. Post covid quality of food has gone down.Be ready to for 45 min for the desert. We had to remind them 4 times for our desert.

Anokis service was so bad I sat without a menu for 20 minutes then they dared to ask me what I wanted to drink. I replied are you going to surprise me. However they did apologise and offer a discount but once the deed is done it cannot be undone.They ultimately sent me to Bollywood which is only 10 minutes down the road, with 10/10 food. Highly recommended you get back in your car and switch on the SatNav.

Delicious food, good service friendly staff, all covid measures in place

Spacious Indian restaurant with a relaxed ambiance. Food is geared to western palates and is very tasty. Chicken Saag is highly recommended. Not cheap but one of the better establishments in the Derby/Burton area.

A clean and vibrant restaurant with a good sized parking space. Friendly staff, a good selection of drinks.But lets face it. You want to know about the food.Without doubt the best curry Ive eaten from an Indian restaurant. Its fantastic.

The venue and service are nice, but the food is toned down in flavour. It is not just about spiciness. I missed the explosion of flavour I get when I visit less fancy places cooking for the local Indian community. You will like it if strong aroma and flavours are not your thing. The presentation of the dishes is well done, though.
