One of the best Korean restaurants in GTA, in my opinion. Spacious and well kept- we did BBQ and the fan worked so well as there was no lingering BBQ odor afterwards on us. Meat was fresh and well portioned, cold noodles were delicious. Overall, definitely not cheap but all in all, very good value for the money given the quality.

This is where I get my spicy braised fish cooked in an authentic Korean way. No matter what is ordered, each delivers authentic and well-prepared taste of Korean without any failures. With a patio setting, it is somewhat difficult to get staffs’ attention for services, however, they are kind and helpful once paid attention. I’m very glad to have this long run restaurant around!

Decor was very old, would need a lil fixer to get it more appealing. Grills were big and ventilation was good. Price was a bit high for the portion, but the small apps were delicious and fresh. Service was ok, as they forgot us sometime.

I went to this restaurant 1 month ago with my girlfriend and her best friend. The waiter, who didnt see the tip I gave enough, treated us very badly. Then the other waiter came and said you should pay more, we served you. I paid an extra $20 tip. They are definitely behaving very badly. I will never go again.

Pricey but good quality korean beef. If you buy enough and if its not too busy theyll even cook it for you

While visiting TO from out of town, dined here recently with fond memories of eating here many times 10+ years ago. My my the quality has deteriorated exorbitantly! Marinated galbi was SO thin, so dry, lacking any texture, taste, lustre... super disappointing. Service was all over the place - had to ring the bell at least 3 times to be attended to each time. Not sure if a covid thing (if so, waitress shouldve informed us) but they didnt help once with the meat. There was also ZERO ventilation... in a bbq restaurant! Seemed like none of the hoods were working - the entire place was covered in a thick smog when we walked out. MIGA in Mississauga is miles better in all areas if distance isnt an issue!

The food is still very good here after all the years. I think they reduce their portions for side dishes a little. I guess cause less people are eating it and its going to waste. But overall still good place for korean bbq.

This restaurant is the one I always prefer. I eat in a lot of restaurants but here I constantly return again and again. The team is very cordial and the cuisine they serve is so flavorful. I never miss an opportunity to have a decent dinner in this restaurant. Highly recommended.

I found hair in my food - after I flagged down a waitress, she told me that (and I quote) It must have been the wind that blew in the hair from another table.Im literally in a corner with no other guests for at least 3 meters from me (due to the social distancing protocol).I paid over $150 for this meal (tax AND TIP included) and this is the kind of service and response I get? Absolutely hilarious. This restaurant and the people that work here are a joke - trained monkeys would do a better job than these morons. I would easily give zero stars if I could.

Food is authentic and delicious. BBQ meat is fresh but a bit pricey. Place is generally clean. I like the tabletop aluminum grill - clean and shiny. Good place for big groups like family and friends. Parking spaces are available around the plaza.

My favourite spot for Korean BBQ in Toronto. Not the best for value but the quality of the meat is top notch. Also one of the cleanest KBBq restaurants. However you will still walk out smelling like bbq. It cannot be avoided despite heavy investments in ventilation.The side dishes are equally impressive. Theres always a couple of new side dishes every time we go.We eat here a handful of times every year. Been a customer for close to 10 years. Its never disappointed us.

The view of patio if good. Korean BBQ is overpriced. Meat were frozen and charged over 100+ for a 4 ppl combo, food quality didn’t match the price. Grill plate coat has fallen, easy to cause sticky food on the plate. Waitresses are very busy, even take away one of our grill plate when we were not 100% finished. With avg 50+ for a Korean bbq. Get raw material at Galleria is much reasonable. Wouldn’t recommend.

This is the best authentic Korean restaurant in Toronto. I have dined here over 20 yrs, never disappointed so far. (I confess a few times, i was disappointed, but overall i have been very happy.)The chef rarely uses MSG, if ever, for a shortcut. He(or she) seems to know how to utilize any seasonal vegetables available on the market. I have been cooking homemade Korean meal for my family over 35 years, so i think i know how to cook a bit. Even I get surprised and learn a bit from their dishes how to use and apply some vegetables in a way i havent imagined.

We have been loyal customers coming here over the years. The restaurant changed hands a few years ago and the food quality and taste has been going downhill since. The wait staff are excellent but find the owner to be rude. Wont be coming back.

Good service and good food. A bit Pricey. 3 dishes and two beers for two people $70 bucks. If you want the bbq sets it’s $40 each but have to buy sets of two. Easily over $100 for two people without alcohol.

A Korean bbq restaurant that also serves shabu shabu and other a la carte items, we ordered the combo with 4 different types of beef, love the marinated beef best. Also had seafood pancake and pork belly (very crispy, bacon without the salt!) They serve with lettuce leaves and we cut the meat into smaller pieces and wrapped them in the lettuce, mix with the sauce and kimchi/rice etc, just like eating Peking duck. So much food as the combo include rice, soup and salad and all you can eat kimchi. Apparently this restaurant is especially famous for its beef and it did not disappoint. 😋

Satisfied with the food every time I come here, I love everything basically :), staff is very attentive and service is fast. The restaurant is spacious so we never have to wait for a table no matter how large the group is. A good place for gathering!

Came here with a big group of friends. They gave us a semi private room for our party, which is SUPER nice of them! The food was hot and fresh! Nothing too out of the ordinary though (as far as Korean food goes). Sariwons a pretty good place to have a nice family meal for sure. The server was attentive and came to check on us often.

Life is about choices - and Sariwon chooses to be racist. They treat their customers with dishonesty, condescension and apathy. We came here with good intentions and to support a local cuisine, but they soiled that by taking our name/number and NEVER calling us at all. Even adding additional wait time despite promising us a table as if our time was infinite. Move on, this is not a restaurant you should support as they will be implicitly racist if you aren’t Korean. And even then, why would you support a restaurant that gives preferential treatment? If you’re so bent on serving one race, you should have open the restaurant elsewhere, not in our Canadian melting pot of cultures.

Calling for a reservation doesnt do anything unless youre Korean. If you are any other race, they will neglect you and tell you to wait until the restaurant closes. I have waited in the lobby for hours just to see Korean customers waltz in without a reservation. I think its not a hard ask to treat all customers fair but Sariwon doesnt seem to care. You will probably get more service in prison. I suggest you go to the more popular chains like daldongnae where customers are treated equal.

This place constantly delivers. They have fresh food for affordable rates, there are no long waits even when the spot is busy.

Got take out from here last week. Good portions and food was delicious. Will definitely come back. Also, hoping to eat inside once the pandemic is over. Restaurant looks spacious.

Authentic Korean BBQ. Was a bit pricey but really enjoyed the beef and the taste. Contrary to other reviews, I think the service was great. I think people dont know that you have to press the button to get service (Korean culture). Maybe they should inform them when they enter.

Little bit pricey, relatively not bad...

Bought their frozen stew special ($6.99 ea, but 5 and get free kimchi), and bought 1 of each of their available varieties. Soups were flavourful and had a good level of spice. With rice, each soup can serve ~2 people, and what’s best about buying these frozen stews is that you can even customize with your own toppings!!

The meat is good but no side dishes really and its on the expensive side. The waiters are very attentive though which is nice and they bring everything quickly and check on you frequently. Personal opinion on the rating though, if you like more meat and no side dish with the price that it comes with, its a to go place. Very neat and nice place to go to.

Ordered their spicy pork and rice on Ubereats because they had a promotion going on. I recieved two pre-packaged meals that tasted stale. They came in plastic containers with a plastic film over the top much like a frozen meal. The pork was very chewy and not good.

Patio is open so you can dine in. Big umbrellas on each table so provides shade if its too sunny. Ive always had bbq here but this time, tried their Ssambab with spicy pork. They give you variety of ssam veggies along with specially made ssamjjang (sauce). Also provide individual bento style banchan(side dish).

It is always clean and the service is good with the consideration of the guests. The food is mostly Korean style and is varied and delicious. The price is a bit expensive, but its worth it

Food quality and meat is superb if you plan to do Korean bbq. Service is very nice. The waitress would cut your cut and put it in the grill for you. The sides are great with a variety of choices from Kim Chi to potatoes to radish. Its a little bit on the pricier side but worth it. Make sure you get the fresh cut beef!

Called ahead to make a reservation and the waitress told us it would be an hour wait. Arrived at the restaurant an hour later to find out that she didnt even book a table for us. She asked for my phone number and told me to wait another hour and shell call me back. Its been a week and Im still waiting for her call..............

Went for a bday dinner. The steamed pork belly was delicious. Service was fast. Definitely got better since the last time I went there. Pricey side, but worth it.

Great food and affordable price.

I would say this is one of the best Korean Restaurants in town. most authentic, very close to what I would get in Korean restaurants. However, they do have some ups and downs with their food taste, and I think it really depends on how busy they are. avoid busy hours. this is a big restaurant that can take over hundreds of people, so you might experience some bad services from unintended mistakes. Anyhow, I still strongly recommend this place. FYI they do take reservations for large groups as well if you are looking forward to have some Korean BBQ party experience.

They charge over 30 dollars with kalbi combo.Side dishes are also mediocre and comes with hair as seen in the picture.Only reason you would come here is if choseon ok across the street is so full that you have to wait.Would not return

It was busy; filled with families and larger group gatherings.Atmosphere?Its loud here and the waitresses are always running around. The place is lively and always cooking BBQ. Be prepared to smell after you leave this place haha. Its a higher end Korean BBQ place and the interior is quite nice and big. I believe you can host wedding receptions upstairs and other big events. Its nice.Service/Staff?The service is quite good here. I speak Korean so that helps a lot. I was observing the staff at how they treated non-Korean tables and they were very good at listening and checking up on them. I appreciated that because some Korean places treat you just like a money maker and not a human if you dont speak their language.Food/Menu?Ok here is the lowdown. Ive been coming here since I was a kid. We always order the same thing and it is the yangyoem galbi. It is 40$ a person basically and pretty expensive. It is SO good though, comes with the soybean soup and all the side dishes. Amazing and that meal in itself is worth 5 stars in my books. The reason I took a star off is because I have tried other meals here and it wasnt thaat good. Maybe its just this one thing their good at (KBBQ), but maybe dont try the other stuff on the menu? I only get the BBQ here and would highly recommend that alone.

Sariwon is a decent Korean BBQ place, but it is important to know what you are aiming to eat there.Are you a pork-belly kind of person? If so, Sariwon would provide an ok experience, but youd be best to visit Piggys Restaurant instead, where thick cut premium pork belly is offered instead of the thinly sliced ones here.Are you a beef rib (kalbi) kind of person? If so, Sariwon is perfect. Their beef rib is tender, good quality and the marinate is delectable.When I came here with 3 other friends, we ordered an order of pork belly and an order of marinated beef. A delicious seafood soup and an order of glass noodles were given to us as part of the meal, along with an array of standard Korean side dishes. That was more than enough food for us.If you are not familiar with Korean-run BBQ places, you have to press the service button on the side to get service. We dined on a Friday and they were somewhat busy, so our alarm were ignored/forgotten several times. Good food but our server was very unprofessional. She was so confused and disorganized. We ordered bulgogi and soups but the soups did not come. When checked our bill we found the soups were charged. The server blamed the kitchen. Also, she complained bulgogi is quite a handful as she needs to cut and flip frequently. The restaurant used to have a good reputation but for me it was unpleasant experience.

Tried their new patio due to COVID. Food was decent but service was definitely lacking. We waited 25 minutes for our order (the place was only half full). Didnt get our appetizer because the server acknowledged she gave it to the wrong table. We were also rushed to leave after eating our meal despite them making a mistake with our order and making us wait almost 30 minutes. Would not go back again due to terrible service.

I like this place! They prepare tasty dishes, their menu is varied, The chief cook in that spot is very experienced, I like very much trying all their food. The dishes are always tasty, the service towards the guests is efficient. I visit often this restaurant and I was never unhappy. I recommend it with no hesitation.

I’ve come here for kbbq before and the quality of the meat and side dishes are very good. I recently ordered their covid frozen stew special and compared to some other Korean establishments, I really enjoyed the taste after it was reheated. I’d highly recommend and would go back for the soybean paste stew.

Called in said no need for reservation. Drove 30 minutes with the family told me needed reservation..

I had a cold noodle called 물냉면 here.I complained that there was too much soy sauce taste and its sauce looked darker than normal 물냉면.I waited 10 extra minutes for an answer however the waitress never came back.

Quite pricey for all menu items. Service was alright. Theres an interesting button at each table to call for service which seems to work quite well. It does take quite a while for your order to arrive and they didnt serve all the side dishes while we were waiting. Would have liked if the side dishes came first so at least I had something to do. The quality of the food is great though. Taste is on point. Authentic. Tender meat and seasoned really well. Overall just kind of pricey.

Very clean and bright space available to host birthdays and special events. I was invited to make balloon designs for children attending the birthday party. Food was very attractive and had a nice presentation. @misscypriana

Bbq meal kit was really good

Food and service was good, but a bit pricey. Relaxed atmosphere and good sides. Food was filling. As a younger person (with a smaller budget) I would probably prefer all you can eat Korean BBQ though.

We had a superb time in this place. We loved the first-rate ambience and the menu. The staff are very affable. I am content we finally decided to visit this place.

We were a group of five on a friday evening. The restaurant was half empty when we arrived.It was soon filled in an instant when few groups started coming in. First, our orders took longer to be served. The groups who came after us were served before us. When our order was came, it was cold- when it was supposed to be sizzling!The servers were everywhere & yet a water refill took more than 15 min to be served! A request for additional napkins never came!Worst is, they gave our appetizer to the table behind us! And the server didnt realize if we havent called the her attention!And it isnt over yet.. they rushed us to leave despite the delays of being served. There was a line up to dine in!Will not recommend this place!

We like marinated BBQ beef here! Tastes still the same even after changed the owner. They provide lots of side dishes. The service is good too!

This is the first restaurant I have ever walked my family out of. We were seated, re-seated and after a half hour hadnt even been served drinks. This was our first Korean BBQ experience, and my birthday. We arent too upset by leaving though, the menu didnt offer many options and the dinner for 6 beef menu was $249 dinner for 4 was $159. A worthwhile spend for a birthday meal, but not worth the zero service effort.
