Value for the money we paid. Chose this place as it is centrally located, easy accessible. Staff responsiveness is a concern, quality of linen and cleanliness of bathroom needs special attention. Check In was slow, not at all welcoming. Early bed was requested at 11:45 pm as soon as we checked in and the same was brought to our room by 12:45am. Staff barged into the room while my colleague was sleeping. The same was informed to the management, hope corrective measures are taken.

The rooms are spacious. But the furniture and floor were uncleaned. Sheets were old and dirty.

I have booked 16 rooms .. The problems i faced in every rooms are 1.ac not working 2.cable out of order 3.Tv doesnt work 4.leaking flush 5. No water to drain in toilet..6.U dnt have landline (u need to go down for every complaint).. The actions the receptionist took 1. Ok i will resolve and he forgets ,u remind again he dialls and say they will come.. after 1hr a person will c0me and say it is resolved but the problem will continue..then u will be changed to other room and tat to u will face same problem..Dear Hotel management if u cant spend money on repair pls dnt give accommodation...worstexperience

1 Star because of non functional items in room. Like TV, water heater etc. 1 star because even if you call for room service 100 times no one would care to come and attend you. 1 star because even if you go down to the reception and pull people in they say fake reason and get out somewhere. We are not staying in road side place or anywhere. The amount you are charging for room is for the amenities and service you are providing. Please improvise.

Most of the reviews about this hotel are true. They have dirty bed spreads and tv was not functioning. But atleast they try to resolve your problems. And complementary breakfast was very nice.

Booked through oyo first they were not ready to give the room. Then after complaining in app they gave us the key . The room service is really poor.

One of the famous hotel in Tuticorin. Now it was not maintained well as before.

Room service is good and the staff is courteous.Ordered pepper chicken, its good. Fish fry OK.The rooms are easily the most under maintained if you compare with any other.The bed linens and the towels are breeding ground for all kinds of communicable diseases.Rs 2000 per night you can expect good rooms but this is worst.Stain marks all over the bed linen.At home my pet has a better towel compared to what they provide.Bathrooms are more like oven .. only boiling water comes out of shower and no cold water mixture.Toilet sink ... better not to describe.Airconditioning better not to mention, since it doesnt work.No dental kit provided.Has good parking if their marriage hall is not booked.

Wonderful place. Most basic things are great. Hot showers, clean sheets, comfy chairs, big enough TV, spacious room, courteous and efficient staff, availability of iron box, wifi and newspapers. Food is great. The room could have been a little more clean. There is a layer of dust on the sills and ledges. Couldnt expect more from a town with a tiny airport, could we?

Very cunning people, youll be asked to pay everything in advance. Mostly the reception and restaurant phone numbers are unresponsive. I booked an AC room. AC was properly functioning, whereas as no hot water coming from the geaser, TV if no use, most of the commonly watched channels were not subscribed. Room was not so clean, I can say above average.

I been traveling since last 4 years. At least once in 5 months I will be keep coming to this place. I noticed lot of changes in food and room cleanliness and other things. Now the breakfast is an average quality. And food taste also not like earlier, overall I feel food is average. In washroom have noticed some broken switches, broken toiletwares

Its a 7 storey building with bar facilities on the highest floor in open air on the terrace. Food is awesome at this place. And ambience is quite good as well. Servicing is fine. The people here are very hospitable.

I was not familiar with the location also it was my first visit in tamilnadu & was bit skeptical on hotel.It was an official visit & i was looking for good budget hotel which provides all comfort.I was not sure whether Raj Hotel will meet our demand but when i stayed & experience i would say its by far the best hotel in tuticorin.Right from ambience to room to food everything was great, i had wonderful time. Special thanks to F & B manager Mr.Oliver for the great service even the other support staff including reception were great. I would strongly recommend this hotel in case if you visit to tuticorin.Thanks.

Completely disappointed with this hotel and their services. Rooms are given to the customers without proper checking.. Theyre providing with school students.. no professional are there..This is money oriented rather than customer satisfaction.. complementary breakfast also too bad..rooms arent good.. prefer Kani residency instead of this one..

The location of this hotel is at a prime place.However the rooms especially bath rooms are not clean. Sleeping quality of Bed is very much avarage. Service is just OK. Centralized AC... at times not working..The hotel authorities should look into thesr things...The tariff is on the highet side when comparec to the amenities offered.Thanks

Actually, I have booked a room for my friend but unfortunately I had made the wrong decision because ,The Room service persons entered without our permission even they didnt said the reason of their visit and knocked the door without cap that was annoyed us.My friend told me this is the bad experience of his life.

The property is great but the housekeeping gave sleepless night with dirty beedi cigratte pieces everywhere. After complaining they cleaned and changed the bedspreads but left the beedi bits in the toilet dustbinn which was disgusting. Roger sudatsan were polite. Breakfast should be available by 7.not at 8 which is not convenient. I skipped it today as i got to rush.

The hotel is located close to centre of town. Self have stayed at this hotel several times over some years. Initially the service and rooms used to be good but over period of time it has declined. No adequate toiletries, drinking water ( only on chargeable basis). Rooms & Bathroom looks untidy, lacks maintenance. Inspite of all this cons, the hotel has a very good roof top Bar with a large screen. The ambience is good. Over all its an average place to stay, there are better places close by at same cost.

Well maintained hotel with neat and clean room. They have centralised A/c and it takes time to cool the room. I stayed during summer and didnt faced any A/c issue. Have ample car parking space and they follow 12hrs check-in method.
