One of the best hotel experience I had in recent times. They maintain good hygiene. The restaurant was very good and food items are really nice. Though the food items are pricey I would say its worth it. Hospitality is very nice.

Not upto the mark, certainly a bad property for grt brand name. The property is very old and definetly needs a makeover. Room and toilets also look very dated. Sound proofing is worst and since it is close to highway you will be bothered whole night with truck horns. 2 star given only because the property is close to airport and u can reach airport within 10 to 15 mins of drive.

I am a big fan of GRT group of hotels. I rated this group next to Taj. Had bitter experience in this property in terms of house keeping, food , wash room quality but only one exemption is people were very good , all of them demonstrated good amount of hospitality. still I am rating 5 only because of previous experience and for the people.

It is very close to District collector office. Good gestures extended by staff.

Nice ambience.But the Room size is small for the stay of 2. Food quality and service is nice. We have forgotten our Samsung Charger. After vacating, they have called us and sending us the same to our Home Address. GOOD Service indeed.

On the national highway.The staff is quite cooperative and well-mannered.The breakfast is complimentary with the room.Hygiene is maintained well.

Very old hotel . Well managed and room cleaning is excellent. Staff are polite. Bathroom are very old and need a refurbishment. Beds are not comfortable. Breakfast is good but room dining charges are too high. For example: 2 chapatis inclusive of tax is 300 rs . Any Chinese dish with gravy goes upto 980 rs. Even if you need a bottle of water its 100 rs per bottle of Kinley. You can stay here and have breakfast as its included in package but room dining or restaurant here is too too expensive just not justified. For everything else there is Swiggy which can save your money 🤑.

I have stayed here for one day when we arrived the receptionist came near the and took all the luggages in a trolley and sanitized everything and delivered it to the room. But we faced an issue with suite room. What we saw in the photo is given to us. They have multiple suite rooms which differ from each other. One thing was disturbing he doesnt allow guest to visit us to our room. Because of covid 19 he said. The suite room and this thing made us feel bad. Everything else went very good.

The deluxe room are just refurbished and are excellent 👌. The staff are helpful, specially Daniel the all rounder..from picking you up to getting the best coffee .amazing

Absolutely outstanding hotel perfectly located. Helpful, friendly staff who go above and beyond to make sure you have the best time. It was my business during our stay, which we had not mentioned, but they obviously saw that at the check in. Also an excellent breakfast buffet. We will definetely come back with friends and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great ambience and spacious rooms with a clean and tidy cubicles. Located adjacent to the highway, the hotel is a connecting place between two districts. Close to the proximity of the airport, this hotel has an advantage point. Restaurant facility with tasty delicacies are available. Temple, laundry, emergency power etc add to the list of additional provisions. The cost of the room is a bit high for a deluxe room. Quality of the service is good and definitely be improved in the reception department. Decent parking space too. 😊👌

The restaurant used to be good. We are regular diners here. But, in the recent times we could feel noticeable decline in the quality of the food being served. Unfortunately, after a dinner three members of our family developed digestion illness. This place has lost our the position of being a choice for fine dining in Thoothukudi.Hope to see the restaurant back in its good days.

Room photos uploaded by Hotel looks good and it creates good impression. But the rooms are not at all great and they are different that what is shown in the pics. Please dont rely on room pics. Also A/C was making bad sound through out the night..

Neat and clean. Understand that Deluxe rooms were renovated recenly. Covid 19 protocols were all followed diligently. Mini fridge, cofee making facilty were made available in the deluxe room on request only-not there as specified in the website.

Booked the rooms directly and not thru any website. Still got an excellent deal! The hospitality and the overall service exceeded our expectations. The quality of breakfast (included in the package) was great! But food is very costly! Ram Bala, Manager who handled our booking is so friendly and flexible. Great Job Team! Looking forward to visit again!!

Stayed for 2 nights. Room size was not adequate for a small family of 2 adult and 2 children. Took additional bed which caused further lack of space. Food quality was excellent. Otherwise rest was good.

Ambience was good. Food and service good

The place is becoming old but has been renovated recently. Still there was a drumming sound from the split AC and the exhaust fan in the bath. Cleaning and other services from the staff were top-notch and unobtrusive. Parking is sufficient. One of the better options in Tuticorin if one wishes to escape from the chaos inside the city.

The most horrible experience I have ever had. I drive for 3 hours from Tenkasi and reach the hotel around 10 pm. A man with a red shirt watches us and hides behind the reception. Seek their help in carrying my luggage and they nonchalantly refuse saying its a corona guideline that they will not touch my luggage. Fine. But where is the baggage trolley for transporting my baggage to our room? Please dont dream of such a facility. We went into the room and checked out next day early morning without even having breakfast because they might throw in another excuse in the name of COVID-19. We will fight our way out of the pandemic but will not be able to get rid of the virus in the minds of the people running this hotel who dont care for their customers. They probably were not aware that we had framed the COVID-19 guidelines not to harass people but to be more careful and follow standard sanitization protocols #COVID19excuses

It’s difficult to locate for the first timer.There was no lunch available on the afternoon of 19th Jan 2021. We had to order rice and each and every accompaniment separately for a typical South Indian lunch.

The hotel is old. Rooms are very simple. Not worth the penny you pay. All the rooms have a similar styled old AC that takes more than 30 mins to cool. Dont get driven by the brand name. One of the worst hotels in Tuticorin. Car parking and portico are not luminated. Overall I had a bad stay.

One of the worst food experience in Tuticorin. The food quality and quantity are no way nearer to a three star hotel experience. We ended up regretting our visit to GRT. Wasted a lot of money and time here.

Cons-The location of the hotel is in some corner.The rooms are very old.There is a weird smell coming from the wardrobe.Restaurant sofas are very dirty.There is sewage smell coming from the restroom.The air conditioner is very noisy and it is not working frequently.There is no kids play area.There is no fridge, hairdryer, coffee tea sugar sachets also was not present.Pros-The staffs were really friendly.Morning food was good.On the whole the hotel was really reallyy old not even a lil bit upto the GRT mark.

When we entered here, a very pleasant feeling was felt. Helpdesk informed us about everything.In the in-house Restaurant, were attended by Mr. Prabhu K. who is a very humble and nice person. I specially thanks to him and his team for their hospitality. The restaurant staff was well dressed and very humble. The food was very tasty and less spicy which we liked alot.Rooms were clean and spotless.Excellent cleanliness and comfortable in all ways.. full of positivity. We have booked two rooms and my family still enjoying stay here. We are in it now on this 24th December 2019 and heading towards Kanyakumari.This hotel is much better and more beautiful than of those pics we saw at the time of booking. Ample pace for parking available and drivers stay was also provided.Overall me and my family is quite happy.Thank you team Regency Tuticorin.

Very good team service.excellent food.But sorry to note that AC Makng lots of sound, toilet water stagnates and very risky fr elderly people.moreover i could find no rails in the toilets and it s a must if u provide atleast three or four rails asap.Itherwise we had a very happy stay and the drivers and the vehicles provided was too good.Keep it up .

We had a very pleasant journey thanks to the super professional and friendly staff.VIMAL was the best as he facilitied our Thiruchendur temple visit and drove us there.He also took us to Madurai Meenakshi Temple and dropped us off at the Airport.The rooms were comfortable and the restaurant had everything that we needed.

Good service good rooms and it is also in a good location. When we were there, there were some new people at the front desk had a little difficulty checking us out other than that everything else whats good. the menu inside the rooms was expensive, almost like a five-star hotel which was a little bit surprising.

Good ambiance and polite staff. The food options are limited, but thats ok since Tuticorin is a business town and people generally prefer a short business lunch. The quality of the food is excellent though. The hotel can be renovated, since its beginning to show its age.

The reception staffs are humble and polite with the guests. After check-in I had faced lot of issues with restaurant and waitress. And also faced a huge problem regarding the room allotment. Seriously i dont know whether its a star catogary hotel. THINK TWICE BEFORE CHECK IN.

Good food and location

Good food, good staff but rooms are not that great, giving the feel of being little overpriced. Rooms alone are not as per GRT standard.

Stay was very comfortable and great service. But the complimentary breakfast with the stay doesnt deserve good rates cause they dont add varieties to the table. I made 5 days stay and everyday it was all same dish. The only cuisine that they serve during breakfast is South Indian and continental. Little dissatisfied on the food part or else hospitality was warm and sweet.

Stayed for two nights. The room was spacious, neat, The bathroom was comfortable. The breakfast at restaurant was excellent with good service.

Good hotel and nice service. Breakfast is very tasty. Hotel needs to raise their service bars in comparison to charges as wifi and AC was not functioning in room. Even food charges are exceptionally high . One water bottle of 20 INR is sold at 80 INR and same is for other food items everything is charged almost 4 times than usual prices.free parking is available in hotel. Overall hotel is not worth the money considering the location of hotel.

OUT OF THE CITY OPP TO THE COLLECTORATE OFFICE IN TUTICORIN THE ROOMS AND THE HOTEL IS GOOD BUT THEY LACK PROFESSIONALISM IN HANDLING CUSTOMERS. I ASKED FOR MILK PACKETS IN THE ROOM AND THEY BILLED 2 PACKETS OF SALTED DRY FRUITS IN MY ROOM ACCOUNT IT WAS JUST A MATTER OF 2 HOURS SINCE I ASKED AND WRONG POSTING OF ORDER THE PROBLEM WQS THAT THEY INSISTED THAT I HAD TAKEN THE DRY FRUITS. THANKS TO THE GORL AT THE RECEPTION WHO HANDELED THE SITUATION WELL

Very bad way to check in a guest... Rooms and very uncleanly not worth the price... flush not working properly in bathroom... My check in started in a very irritating manner... very rude speaking people with improper communicative skillsAsking for marriage certificate through mail for check in... though i booked the hotel 3 days before, they ask me that right before check in and asking me to cancel the booking in the last moment if i dont have... then have to argue so much and showed a wedding picture.. they asked me to go and take a print out of it... after quarelling finally agreed for email..

Restaurant service and housekeeping can be better improved

After researching for long i shortlisted it and stayed for a day. I was given a room in the first floor. Room was of medium sizing and the bed with pillows were good. Bathroom door was worn out and the floor was stained. It badly needs maintenance and renovation. Restaurant and Bar was good. There were lots of Foreign guests around.

Checked out of the hotel today. The staff were very hospitable, and the room was clean and well maintained. Food was tasty and light on the stomach as well. Overall the only stay i would prefer in tuticorin.

Lots of attention to detail, including fresh fruit, homemade cookies, etc. Staff is very responsive, e.g. by providing a US power adapter after I left mine at home.I only wish the lunch/dinner restaurant was better (The breakfast, usually included in the room price, is very good). The serving sizes are huge but the quality of the food warrants only three stars. When in Tutucorin, try to get invited to a home: they know how to cook- just not in restaurants.
