I’ve never been to a restaurant with better ambiance than this. You dine by the sea and it is wonderful. The food is also really good!

Great place to unwind, great seafood delicacies with one side waves of sea and ofher side calm lagoon. A must place to enjoy an evening sunset dinner. The rates are higher, eg. a charge of Rs 300 for a parotta. Quantities are not big for the rates you pay.

It is one of the best hotels in Trivandrum. The ambience of bait seashore restaurant is awesome especially during sunset. They follow covid protocols and provide a buggy till bait restaurant. Evenings are superb with many people visiting. Vegetarians have less options so does people who dont like fish.Food is a bit on the expensive side which is to be expected since this is a 5-star peoperty

Probably the best restaurant in Trivandrum. The ambience is unmatched; you can either enjoy the open air and be seated right beside the sea or opt to sit inside a wonderfully crafted restaurant. And as always, the service that Taj offers is top notch.The speciality of the cuisine is seafood. So people who like seafood will find it extra special. Highly recommended!

Great location, the sound of crashing waves, views of greenish blue water, and green surroundings.

We were here for our anniversary dinner. They had decorated the table and chairs with balloons and provided a cake too. They had a special package for couples too. We went for veg and non veg platters and it was very good. Dessert was complimentary with the platter. What a taste....Ambience is so awesome, beach side table with sounds if waves agains the rocks. The entire pathway to restaurant is lit. Enjoyed every moment there. Special thanks to the staff for making this day memorable for us.

Taj Green Cove Resort is a must visit place for all. I would highly recommend this place for the following reasons:1. The ambience.The greenery itself is breathtaking. The cozy villas are another attraction of this place. You can enjoy the beauty of the beach and the lagoon at the same time. I cannot describe the beauty of the place in a few words here. It is something to be experienced in person.2. Friendly staffExtremely friendly and well behaved staff. I have a one year old daughter born during covid times. She is an extremely shy person who is not used to seeing people. But even she was able to catch up with the vibes of the staff and she enjoyed talking and playing with them. They are extremely friendly and warm and courteous, right from the security staff at the entrace to the waiters at the restaurant to the room boys.3. FoodYummy food with a variety of options for breakfast and dinner. (We dint stay for lunch, hence not commenting on the lunch). The have customised food for our daughter with very little spice so even she could enjoy.4. Activities.You can enjoy the serene boat ride on the lagoon and there are a few fun activities for kids as well. (Kite flying, cycling, darts etc)

Its perfect!The whole experience was amazing. Ambiance. The beach. The bait. The food. The drinks. Even the washrooms. I am glad that I visited this place. And by the Taj standards, its not that expensive. It costs us 3000 for 4 people with alcohol. You should try pizza here. Veg pizza.

Beautiful place to spend on the sea shore. The huts are very close to sea. Beer is available and it will be served in the huts near to the beach but no food are allowed, not even starters. Real good experience ✌🏼

It was a surreal experience... Thou the menu was limited, more than most menu it was the ambience which made us forget about food. One word of caution, u will have to tell specifically if you want spicy food else it wud be very mild for your taste.

Bait restaurant is, in my opinion, is the crown jewel of Green Cove. Excellent view of the Arabian sea and good food. What else can you ask for? Monsoon makes it even more better.

Its an awesome place. Great for family dinner, with the heavy rain all the ambiance was really sweet. The staff were really sweet and friendly.

We recently visited restaurant for a lunch and had already made a previous reservation we were told the cost per head wud be 1500 plus taxes but wen w were done with our food they charged us 9000 INR for 3 people. And their buffet spread was not very good as they had included only a few items and the food was mediocre. The grills were not cooked properly and they jus served normal Indian food dat we eat always nothing special.jus 5 main items including the rice varieties and 4 salads were there.no other nonveg items were included .very disappointed in the taj group for such an experience. We had gone there multiple times and this is the 1st time I have felt sooo disappointed. wud only recommend this for the ambience and nothing else.they say they give us complimentary wine but I think they charged us even for dat. Anyways never visiting them ever😊😊they totally spoiled my parents anniversary with their food.

Amazing restaurant and the view.

Excellent good, excellent wait staff, a bit on the pricier side but worth it. They have both indoors and outdoors seating. You get an excellent view of the Indian ocean from this restaurant. Highly recommended if youre celebrating a special occasion or looking for a nice meal.

The hotel is fabulous, greenery all around you... guest van walk jog and run in the open. Very kids friendly place too. The staff is excellent, kind and courteous... definitely recommend this place to all for a visit. Taj hotels are the best in luxury hotels and this hotel is just an example of it.

Outstanding ambience. It is just on the beach and you can hear the thundering waves breaking against the rocks as you sit at your dinner table. The lights also highlighting the waters add to the feel. There is a very big seafood list in the menu, but they probably need a better chef. It is good without being excellent.

Its not air conditioned but there are enough fans around. Was difficult to get there because Google Maps didnt show the proper location at first.The positives: Amazing ambience. Seated next to the beach with the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks. Food and dessert were great. We went with the waiters suggestions and ordered different kinds of seafood. Will visit again.

The food was really really good. Portions were very small. The view at sunset was exceptional. The service was good but there was a lot of communication failure, due to which the experience suffered. Overall very good experience. Would visit again.

A very delicious selection of really fresh and flavourful seafood. The waitstaff is courteous and highly attentive, truly top notch service to be had. Lets not forget to mention the gorgeous surroundings of this restaurant. It is next to a tropical paradise lake that just flourishes with spectacular plants with walking areas that are well maintained and manicured. Lives up to ones expectations of a Tata brand.

Best place in the world!! Sea side, the breeze, excellent atmosphere, most amicable bearers and supervisors I have ever seen. Without a second thought dine there for lunch or dinner if you ready to shell out some money.

Food is RIDICULOUSLY overpriced for an apparently 5* hotel.Had to be sent back several times and then ended up just cancelling the meal altogether. Food is cooked at the main hotel and driven down to this place.Really really poor service and abysmal food.Wouldnt go back. Check other Google reviews and TripAdvisor and youll find much better places to eat nearby.

The concept of catch and fresh preperation truly adds to the experience. The pearl spot fish is to die for!! The location truly gives it a maritime feel. To swig a malt/ rum here would truly make you feel like a sailor! The wine list can be more elaborate for by glass options though.

Service was appreciable. Food became more delicious by the presence of surrounding nature. Infact, we decided to spend some peaceful time here far from the citys hustle and bustle.

We walked past and even though we were not guests were made to feel very welcome when we asked if we could order a drink. After coffee and tea we stayed for lunch (banana flower fritters being the highlight). The service was exemplary and although it was pricey compared with other local restaurants (though not by European standards) the location, friendly staff, and food meant it was fantastic value.

If you are a fan of sea food, this restaurant is awesome. On the expensive side, however they provide you the matching ambience, quality of service, and tasty food. Situated along side the kovalam beach, they have a nice lawn and area for outdoor parties. The staff is courteous and very well mannered.

This was my 5th visit to Bait and Im never disappointed. Fantastic food and service, made only better by a view of the sea that Id never grow tired of. Already looking forward to trip no.6!

Wonderful ambience. Lagoon on one side and sea on the other. Prawns in coconut n green mango gravy was superb. Sadly Sunday brunch was not available during our visit.It is a must visit for the superb food and natural beauty of the place.
