Its a great place to stay at, right at the center of the city! Good service, complementary breakfast, good food and amenities: pool, spa (not accessible rn due to COVID restrictions). The cost should be approx 2k for a night.

Im really sorry to say this. Room service is ok but Restaurant price is too high. Because 01-10-2021 evening we ordered 3 cup of tea . And its cost is ₹315 ? We was like whaat??? Just 3cup of tea ₹315? What the hell is going.! This is very shame . We never expect this from there. So guys please dont buy anything in south parks restaurant.

This is my worst experience ever when i stay in a hotel. I have traveled and stayed in so many places across India and abroad. Even in Trivandrum i stayed in more than 10 hotels and resorts. But this was very much disappointing. The reasons are1. Room- I have booked a Park Chambered room for me and my wife and they said there is not such room available with a single bed and they provided us a room for physically challenged people.2. AC- One important factor for deciding to stay the night in a hotel is extremely hot climate at home and it was a special day for us. But the ac in the room was not at all properly working and i thought my home was much better than the hotel.3. Lights- There were a 20 switches altogether and there were around 8 lights in total. but no one was properly working. one was always blinking. the others not at all working. just for display. the light near the mirror gone when i switched on the light. totally in trouble4. Night food- From the reception i got the information that the room service and food will be available 12 midnight. But when i ask for food at 10, they said the kitchen will close at 9.30 and if you want can arrange dosa and chatni.5. Brush and toothpaste- In the morning there was only one brush kit available and i called the reception and told to bring one more toothbrush kit. Then they said it will send immediately. but i waited for so long and finally they didnt come and had my breakfast without brushing.6. I was told that the breakfast is a buffet so it cannot be served in the room. so i went to have my breakfast. i was expecting a good buffet. but there was only one dish and that was idli. then when i ask they brought masala dosa and omelet. A good buffet breakfast must contain atleast 10 dishes including juice and tea. But it was the worst buffet i ever had.I am telling this all because i had a great expectation about Hotel South Park and in reality it was really pathetic. So please work on it and satisfy a customer with atleast minimum standards.

Location wise this is good, but it says 5 star hotel on the map. Which is definitely not true. Rooms are old and service is just average.

Ordered a room and while checking in they told they don’t give rooms, used to stay there for couple of days the same month and now they are saying this. Such worst experience anyone could have. Hope they make things clear to the coming guest. Really frustrating experience. I suggest better hotels in Trivandrum.

Stayed with family for a night. Regretted the decision soon after. The place has seen its glory days in the past and is now rundown and totally in a state of disuse. Nothing in the hotel, other than the front desk, could even be classified as 2 star. Sad state. Wont recommend even when you have no choice.

Stay was good, had breakfast from there it was superwell behaved staffs. Neat and clean room and bathroom. It was on prime location of city.cons - fridge was not in working condition. hotel had Mi android tv but not working on wifi and screen mirroring was not working.

The hotel room was very bad... To start with the bed was hard and tattered, to the condition that it could not be fixed by the thin sponge sheets placed on it to cover up the broken spring....the bed was so hard that we could not sleep properly at night..... Then there were a lot of mosquitoes.... In a closed ac room such that we requested mosquitoe repellent machine from reception.... The toilet seat was broken band out of place.... these issues are a mockery of the five star tage the hotel enjoys....Please keep away from this fake five star hotel.

Even though in the middle of trivandrum city its a calm and quite place. Service felt okay for me. Swimming pool doesn’t have any view but still for a evening time to spend some time its perfect. I didn’t try any food from there, we went for some local famous hotels. Mother veg plaza is very nearby its a must try for lunch traditional kerala sadhya. Hotel have some issues for parking. Parking lots are limited.

Located on centre of trivandrum. Poor infrastructure. AC is leaking through the corridors , plumbing electrical works are not properly maintained. As we go through the conference room all the tables are fixed with paper pieces and glues , chair cushions were by worn out, Mat on the floor near to the floor is slippery. My sister fell down in their last year with her 2 year old baby.

Very poorly kept and understaffed. Do not recommend falling for the MMT discount trap. Get a nice 3 star hotel instead

We stayed three days in South Park. Room maintenance was pathetic, washbasin was blocked, flush was not working, no hot water available in the washroom. Breakfast is good and has variety.

The hotel is really good and it gives you the feeling of real 5 star hotel. The staffs are really well qualified and treat you with utmost respect and hospitality.We had an opportunity of conducting an Interview program with famous delegates.I must say they helped a lot with all means and made the event a wonderful one.Food was really tasty and also they served snacks at regular intervals which made our day.😊Rates are pretty good but you will be satisfied with the facilities round there.Have a nice day..!!👍

Terrible service at the Oceana Spa inside. Manager Vijay at the front desk is not interested in what you want but will try and force some combo pack on you. Its clear this place is running on commissions and not on customer satisfaction. When I insisted on using the service I came for, his face changed and he started behaving very rudely. When asked to see the steam facility that follows the massage service, he asked me what the need was for that. So I made him return my payment and took my business elsewhere. The South Park Hotel is not what is used to be. Its trashy, like the adult TV show, really.

Stayed 12 nights. Wonderful customer service, very friendly and attentive staff. Large comfortable rooms and very clean. Very impressive and varied breakfast buffet included. Enjoyed the exercise room and pool. Great location on MG road.

Nice hotel in heart of city with some good deals u can get good value for money. The staffs are friendly and hospitality is excellent. The rooms are excellent and connectivity is also very good for the location it is in. The complimentary breakfast was also of high quality and of high standard. Hence ya i would definitely recommend this one for both family and for bachelors a like. Even met a film celebrity so if they r staying that shows the quality of the hotel.👍 From me.

Stay was good. The rooms are old but well maintained and bathrooms can be made more cleaner it seems. There are issues with parking plots. Some times we have to park on road sides. If there is a function that is going then the car may be parked at a long distance. Yes they have vallet parking but even though it is parked at risky areas.

It showed in online booking sites that this hotel is 5 star... But when comparing with other 5 star hotels its not up to mark but its still good for the price they buy... If you get room for around 2k its a deal... Even though everything is old type still its good... Buy staying there i think that the building and furnitures are old but for 2k everything is value for money. Breakfast were also good

A very well maintained hotel. The staff was eager to look after the guests. Central location adds to accessibility. A variety of dishes were available for the buffet dinner to suit various palates. Rest rooms too showed good upkeep. Had an enjoyable evening.

Enjoyable, courteous staff and good value for money.Brilliant breakfast, a good night sleep - considering its on a busy road, strategically located and clean throughout.Strategically located because our relatives made the effort to see us. So we were relaxed.Our daughter had her pre wedding party here - great atmosphere. The wedding was at nearby St.Josephs Cathedral. Most of our guests/friends stayed here. They loved it. Superb Bar.

This hotel is very decent and neatly maintained.. Rooms are convenient with all facilities such as room pantry, good toiletries, spacious rooms etc.. There is a restaurant in the first floor which serves all varieties of food... food is also good...Only negative point which I noticed was the discriminatory behavior of the restaurant staff towards Indian guests as compared to foreigners... This is not acceptable as we are also remitting the same charges as they are...

The pioneer hotel in Trivandrum . The staffs gave us a warm welcome when we checked in and a hearty farewell when we checked out. The breakfast spread is awesome. The hotel is situated at the heart of the city and very close to the airport. It makes tourist to move around easily within the city. I would recommend this place to all holiday goers and business people.

Room and food was good. But room service was poor. 9 hours to set extra bed in room and 12 hours to understand and bring shower gel says enough. We stayed on Saturday night. The DJ on one of the floor was so loud that the whole building was shaking with the noise. Went on till 1.30 something spoiling everyones sleep and next days schedule. Totally frustrating!! 🤯

Great ambience in the Oakwood Bar. Fast and courteous service. Variety of snacks available. Great place to unwind with friends. Highly recommended.Same goes for the buffet dinner, good variety in food and even greater choice available for dessert. Must try.

Restaurant atmosphere is good with live concert in evening. Some rooms have A/C regulators without temperature control option. Have two lifts. In smaller lift max 3 people can be accommodated with space constraints. Pick up and drop facility to airport not available.

Good location. I only wish the windows could be sound proofed. There is a continuous sound of traffic , which can be distracting when you work. It has all the amenities of a good tourist hotel- pool, spa and beauty parlour. Food is OK. Both reception and room service were good. Housekeeping needs to be a little careful with their cleaning. Quite happy to recommend this hotel.

South Park is situated in the heart of Trivandrum city. A rated four star hotel with excellent track record and credibility.. Bar is popular and lively. Hotel has spa and therapy centre which is an added attraction. Recommend place for family and couple.

A decent hotel with affable staff. Their complimentary breakfast spread is indeed splendid and has enough choice for young and old as well as Indian and international guests. The staff are smiling and courteous. Personally I liked the place.

All good except the rooms need to be made more sound proof as whatever is happening in the corridor is heard right inside the room making it difficult to catch sleep and rest. So also the washroom wet area needs to be separated properly with more space. The food was great and the hotel located in the prime area.

Recently visited with friends and kids for dinner. Excellent service, amazing ambiance and mouth watering food. Highly recommended place for a relaxing night out with friends and family. They had live music playing, the kids even got a chance to sing a favorite. Buffet spread including dessert was vast and they had a variety of delicious North Indian dishes also available. Staff were attentive and friendly. They went out of their way to make the kids feel comfortable. Live cooking counters, beautiful interiors, everyone had an amazing time. No words to say about food... Really tasty food, both veg and non veg... Got too tired by eating eating... Tasted almost all dishes. No space to eat sweet... but cant stop even.mouth watering dishes. Thank u teams for awesome food. Really worth. Must try.

Hotel is quite old, but maintained well enough. However, one cannot avoid noticing the worn out look on the bathrooms, lift, guest directory, aircon, etc. Twin beds are provided without being requested and that too for a single occupancy. It was so uncomfortable and also quite small in width. there was no option to set the airconditioning temperature. Bathrooms are very standard and worn out, especially the shower cubicle, where the beeding of the doors were coming off and was not closing properly. The door entry access was not working well, I had to return back to the reception at least 4 times during my one night stay for assistance on the same, which needs improvement. Front desk service was good. Breakfast was good and had lot of options with live counters. Complimentary beer was icing on the cake, good gesture. Centrally located and accessible to main areas. Late check out was allowed until 3.30, which was appreciative. If there was a double bed provided, the stay would have been much more comfortable. Overall a good hotel, with few improvements required.

Excellent Buffet with add on feature. Ambience of the restaurant is superb. i have tried with the restaurant in first floor. It is small but good. I loved the choices of food they have for buffet , they taste good too. Overall it is a good place for buffet dinner considering the amount !!!.

Some rooms are very dated and some are renovated. Depends which one you get. Lifts are also dated. Food is good however exorbitantly costly and they add 18% GST to it. Bed mattress is unusually soft, room service is slow but efficient. Staff is very polite and courteous. The lobby is nice. Will need mosquito repellent. Corridor smells of cigarettes. Breakfast spread is good and again waiters are very courteous. WiFi is fast. Bathrooms are clean(only in renovated mew rooms) with amole amenities. My only problem was super expensive food - 500 for 2 parotas and veg curry which you can have for 150 just outside in any hotel

Neat and clean. Extremely friendly, helpful and soft spoken staff. Well appointed and spacious rooms. Breakfast spread is very good.But surprised that HBO and Star Movies channels are blocked! The excuse given is that entire Trivandrum is not receiving these channels!

Even though the property is quite old, well maintained & spacious rooms, clean lavatory. Only one thing I felt bad was room service was horrible. I ordered two ginger tea& snacks at around 3pm & got it after several remained & before that I had to request for a menu chart, which was not kept in the room. Surprisingly I got a very old photo copy after request!. No lockers inside the room, No mini bar.No facilities for ironing clothes.I wonder how will this come under “⭐️”! No much selection in food menus. The buffet dinner is good & can enjoy live music.Rental is quite competitive & reasonable. Good location, approachable to any part of the town. With a hope that the management would do the needful for further improvement in room service before my next visit to this town😁

Love the ambiance and style of the hotel. The restaurant was great.

Right from check in everything is real good. Good room, lovely ac , good toiletries. Coffee maker in room but no mini fridge.Breakfast spread is vast and quite tasty. Live counter for Dosa, appam and omelet. In all a good stay. My aged mother liked the behavior of all the staff, right from the door man.

Old property but maintained properly, located at awesome place near to station as well as downtown. Buffet spread is almost same every day, yet food is tasty. Room service is very poor and slow, hotel staff is humble and courteous but very slow . Check in and check out process is very smooth and systematic. This hotel serve liquor’s as well. Great place to stay if housekeeping activity is prompt and responsible.

We have had long stay in South Park . Stay was good. Value for money. Resturant staff very good. Food , music and total ambience is really good. I feel ambiance is better than even 5 star hotel . When in Trivandrum one should choose South Park . It’s roof top restaurant is very pleasant.

A good hotel for family in the heart of the city. The staff is courteous and polite. They are always there to help us.The restaurant is also nice. They have two restuarants. One at the 1st floor and the other at the top floor. The room service is also prompt. The buffet breakfast had a large variety and was also tasty.

A nice hotel.. Though a very old structure.. Well maintained.. The staff here requires a special mention.. They are well trained.. Respectful.. Cordial and most importantly very helpful.. Always with a smile on their face.. The buffet here is sumptuous and you will get to taste specialities of Kerala cuisine.. There is one problem.. The water in the washroom is not hot enough.. Most probably the boiler is not taking the load

I visited the hotel during a team dinner,they have a good roof top restaurant.The food is good and average. We can enjoy some quality live music while having the dinner. Good place to host a family get together dinner or team dinner.
