I am a proud CPTian... Really sad to see that there is only 2 reviews when the campus has produced thousands of engineers... you will know about the survival of fittest from learning such a college! One of the oldest polytechnic of the state with a glorious history to say. :)

Mushrooming engineering colleges in every nook and corner of Kerala took away the sheen from the polytechnic stream. This place is basking in the glory of yesteryears. Now students from low income group who could not pursue b tech at self financing institutions constitute the major chunk of student population here. . diploma holders from premier polytechnics are better than b tech from third grade self financing engineering colleges.

Telling you about a college like this is a bit hard and not bad. This college has 6 engineering departments, a Continuing Education Cell, and so much more. Admission according to the applications submitted by candidates during prospectus available during its time of application submission. 6 Departments includes Mechanical engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Textile Technology. We have big playground at the back of our college. We have a canteen facility available between 8:00am to 4:00pm. We have a Department store working on the main building at the main entrance. Ground floor consists of Physics and chemistry labs at the left end with the common dept staffroom and 3 class rooms, Electronics Engineering lab, Civil Engineering lab, Continuing Education Cell, and the girls waiting room with washroom attached. 1st floor consists of 7 classes, a sick room, Mechanical engineering HOD room, Electronic engineering HOD room, NCC room, Mechanical engineering staffroom, Physical education staffroom, Civil engineering staffroom, Principals room, Office and Principals guest room. The 2nd floor has an auditorium, NSS room(201), Drawing hall and 6 classrooms. 3rd floor has big two drawing halls on each side.
