I know this bakery from my childhood days.. Jam cake us my favorite here.. Chicken puffs also very good.. They bake soft breads, very tasty and affordable while i compare with other known bake shops in the city..

A big bakery with lots of pastries and sweets. It probably has any pastry that one would need. However some items are in big demand and may run out quickly. So it is better to go earlier in the day. The items are of good quality and prices are affordable. So if you have got a sweet tooth and close to the area, you can rely on this place.

Not only did the cakes from the Eastern Bakery survive a long journey from Trivandrum to Mumbai, it also retained the taste.The cakes themselves are great on their own. The creamy filling makes it even better. I recommend the caramel butterscotch pastry. Im a chocoholic but this was better than the chocolate cakes.I never got a chance to experience the cakes from here when I was in Trivandrum but it is on the list.

They maintain the flavour intact.But during the covid situation they could have introduced digital payments like BHIM / Google Pay / Paytm / Phone pe. / NEFT etcEvery time when the invoice is generated the common reply is the swiping machine don’t work and we have to end up paying cash.Going to ATM and withdrawing cash even more risky and giving that contaminated cash to cashier is even dangerous to all.So kindly take initiative to introduce some means of digital payments to ensure better service.

I mean about the old tiffin items prevalent in villages are available in this bakery and those items we in our old days had enjoyed at our own homes prepared by the old lady members of the family. Have been to this store few times. Have observed certain things about staff here. The staff store needs training on customer interaction and humility. They need to avoid arrogant mannerism while replying to customer queries, and staring at lady customers like cavemen. They dont seem loyal to the organization, coming for time pass.

I ordered chocolate cake of 5kg that cost 2500 for my husbands birthday...... It was the worst cake ever.. There were nothing inside the cake, even cream... Even very small cakes will have creams etc..... No one ate the cake.... That cake dont even deserve one star

Please bring back the original taste of tea rusk and masala biscuits. Sad to say , I miss the taste of the tea rusk we got till 2 years ago and stopped buying them for some time.

Eastern bakery is very near to hotel Aryas or just opposite to Aishwarya hotel in vazhuthacaud. A great bakery with a lot of variety products. They also have a small seating capacity and provide tea, snacks etc.Everything is good. If you are so fond of sweet, i would challenge you to eat and finish their eclair bun.Cookies are excellent and their achappam too is so tasty.Very clean and neat bakery, with friendly and supporting staffs.

Eastern Bakery started couple of decades back at Vazhutakadu and have a good name in termw of providing good and fresh products since start. They have a good ethics in business and their plum cake, tea Rusk and butter cake is very famous. Highly Recommended.
