Used to be the best chilly chicken in town. Towards the end the quality started going down. Went there again after the renovation and the taste is still not the same as it once used to be. Felt like it was all bones in the chicken and very less meat. Enough place to sit, good service and parking available along the road on both sides.

Trivandrums much famed Nikunjam reopens as Nikunjam Restaurant in the same location as it was before. The famous Chilly chicken is back in town and is much like before, very tasty and very spicy. The renovated hotel seems good to host more people than the old one. Anyways what matters the most is that, food is still like the old times.

Their beef chilly is exactly as it is used to be 7 years before. If you are visiting Thiruvananthapuram and if you are in Thiruvananthapuram and never been here, you are missing one of the tastiest dishes available here.

Best know for their porotta and chilly chicken. Has been there since childhood. Used to be a veey small and moderate shop back then. They have undergone the normal evolution as part of the city becoming more hep.

They serve a totally different sort of dry chilly chicken than the one you get from other chinese restaurants.The 4-star rating is given considering this dish alone. All other aspects of this restaurant is just average or below that even after renovation. Be it, the range of dishes on the menu, seating capacity or service.My suggestion is to get parcel (chilly chicken with parotta) from this place.

Nowhere else would you find such and awesome chilli chicken and beef chilli. Its simply superb. The management has ensured that the taste that mesmerized the Trivandrum families for more than 30 years remains the same. But it would have been appreciated if the staff at the counter could behave a bit more politely to the customers. The way she answers the queries and talks to the customers were rude and it felt like she is doing a favour to the customers. I could find many people quarreling with her.Thus, another business establishment in the city where they have placed wrong people to interact with the clients/customers

One of the best chilli chiken and beef chilli in the city. They do have chicken fry, but I will say the best is chicken n beef chilli. The very old taste still remains.

Been visiting this place since I was a kid, they have a very special chilly chicken that you dont get anywhere else. Personally i put this place in my top 3 favorite restaurants in Kerala, just for their chilly chicken and kerala parotta combo.

This small food outlet @ Vazhuthacaud is very popular among the residents in the city for long years. The chilly chicken and chilly beef are the much in demand dishes. Nowhere in the city this items in such a taste available. Rates and quantity are also satisfactory. They have renovated the restaurant more facilities.

Once the chilly chicken was fabulous, now they have tried to recreate the dish but the taste is not up to the mark. The parotta is a bit raw and half cooked.Really miss the old nikunjam.

The worst chilli chicken I ever had in my life, the dish was having a pungent taste & flavour of raw onion. The management is not keen in quality and maintaining the optimum cooking time required for the dish, they are only concentrated in collecting money.

Parootta/ appom + chilli chicken /chilli beef is best option.. variety in taste for chili beef/chicken...small sliced beef/chicken.. Old times I used to eat ghee rice +grievy and beef biriyani... It was also worth..
