This place is undoubtedly one of the best vegetarian restaurants in Trivandrum. It has been renovated and maintained well. From ghee roast to ghee idli, all there dishes are wonderful. Parking is a small constraint, but they have some space at the back of the restaurant now for parking.

I had a train to catch, so I thought I will eat at some restaurant near the railway station. I went to Arya Nivaas, not knowing anything about it. But I can easily say, it was one of the the best vegetarian restaurants I have ever eaten in. I ordered a masala dosa, vada and a filter cofee. The food was excellent and it was served within 5 minutes. Their service was really good and quick too. Great experience. 👍😁

This single vada costs ₹35,and one channa batura is served with only one curry at the rate of ₹190 which is exhorbitant. Never take food from this restaurant.

This review is for the restaurant. We ordered full portion curry from Swiggy, however the portion was significantly small, it was not even a quarter portion. Huge loss for the price we are paying.

Poor quality and quantity food.For pongal they are charging Rs80/- ,for Puri set(2puries) they are charging Rs80/-. Which is too costly than Chennai saravana Bhavan and A2B.Today I purchased parcel of 2 ×pongal,3×puriset and one rava Dosa.They charged Rs502/-. Once I reached my home when I opened the pack they kept only one pongal instead of two pongal.More over I received Puri nasal and sambar without thalipu.Its not a first time.Its happened previously also.Today I called and made a complaint.They simply said during your next visit to Ariya nivas ,we will repay that Rs80/- (one pongal charge) Pathetic.Dont go this hotel.

One of the few remaining places for vegetarian options. I am so glad that this place exist. It still maintain that old world charm. Has a ala carte air-conditioned place on the first floor where one can eat in leisure without sharing your space with a stranger. I appreciate that. Attentive staff and great food.

Highly recommended for the quality of food (mostly south indian) though you have to find a feasible place to park your four-wheeler.Walking distance from both Railway Station and Bus Stand, breakfast point to meet someone travelling or if you are the one travelling.

DO NOT GO IF YOU NEED CAR PARKING. They would politely invite and ask you to park infront of the hotel happily. please note that its a no parking zone there and after you leave, there will be a challan coming on your name.so after some 3 or 4 hours only you would realise that the hotel security was inviting you into a trap.Regarding restaurant, food is average and staff also good with price range on the higher side.

Arya nivaas is the OG vegetarian restaurant in trivandrum. The place is more upmarket compared to the original arya nivaas but the food is still so amazing. Well maintained and neat ambience. Food is slightly more expensive when compared to other veg restaurants. But there is no compromise on quality and taste. The pooris and ghee dosas just melt in the mouth.

The only place to get real filter coffee at Thiruvananthapuram.... but to be frank, it didnt taste good.taste is so good that I worth it to drive 15kms to have food occasionally....and they are renovating the rooms. thats even better news.

This is one of the best restaurants in trivandrum as far as South indian vegetarian fare is concerned. Their North indian food is nice, but not of the same levels as their south indian dishes. Their prices are certainly on the higher end as far as a vegetarian restaurant is concerned. This is made up for by their standards of service, which ranks amongst the best Ive seen in any restaurant

I happened to visit this restuarant after going through online ratings. Food is average .Nothing to boast about and costlier than the median price.The chutneys were nowhere near expected however I found sambhar good. Overall its an average breakfast experience and definitely a costly option.

This review is for their restaurant on the ground floor (non AC). This place used to be one of my favourites for dosa, Chinese and other South Indian fare. Earlier, used to be impressed by their consistency and quality. But recently when we went for breakfast, the food quality seems to have deteriorated a bit. The chutneys were not great as before but the dosas were good. The vadas were crispy but salt was on the lesser side. Hope they improve and maintain the quality that they were known for. Parking is not available in front of the restaurant. So that can be an issue when planning to visit the place for a quick meal.

One of the best Veg restaurants in town. Apparently the I would take away half a star if it was possible just because of the price of some of the items. Its not for faint of heart, the quantity that you get just might not complement with what you pay for it. But these are for some of dishes only.Food is very very tasty and fresh. And considering that, you just might be able to consider the spicy hot bill that comes after the meal to be just worth it. I highly recommend this place if you want to have some authentic south indian pure veg dishes. Special mention to the vada. You have got to get a plate of their sambar vada or dahi vada. They are pieces of art.

Came here for a quick bite in the morning. Although the food was good, the options were pretty limited.

If you are looking for a good veg restaurant with superb sambar this is the place. Didnt try other dishes just had dosa and pongal. Went for breakfast and we loved it.Parking is the problem, we have to park in the main road if theres place or elsewhere.

Very good vegetarian restaurant near railway station/ Bus terminal.Service is to be appreciated as they are always seen with a big smile.

I really liked the entrance white marble flooring it gives me a relaxing and welcoming mood.The interiors are done in a minimalist design approach very good to see. Wash room should be big it is so small and only two wash basin and a toilet with less space.Food is so good particularly the idli(20₹ for one)with different chutneys, and the crispy vada (20₹),tea (₹20) their minimum is 20₹ not below. Tamilians run this hotel so each and every staff is from over neighbouring country tamilnadu.Suppliers needs tip and they will ask for it in their own ways like giving you extra chuttney or tissue paper offerings etc ( tamil peoples are born beggars🤲🤲 so better idea you give tip).One day at lunchtime they gave an amazing ripe mango kootu curry(so delicious ) and they have their own special pickle ( gooseberry,lime,mango in one pickle).On festival time you get payasam as a side dish for lunch , breakfast, dinner. An a/c restaurant works on first floor nothing to boast off its air conditioned thats all.

One of the best places for a good, clean meal. Although the prices have changed as the times have changed, they still have maintained their food standards. Very friendly staff, generous portions with most of your orders. Not had a chance to stay in their rooms yet, as the hotel does provide accommodation. Another plus point is that its quite near the railway station, so if ever you need a place to stay with some good food to go along, and you need to catch a train later on, this is your place.

Wonderful just Wonderful. Its been a long time since some of my taste buds tingled eating South Indian dishes.The service was also a Plus Plus Point to be mentioned at the highest possible level. I will definitely return before I fly back home.

This place has a veg restaurant down floor and first floor(AC) and rest of the floors are rooms. Both AC and non AC. The quality of the food is best here. And the rooms are good. Families come here usually although this place is suitable for travelers too. The view from the hotel is also beautiful.

Been a regular customer for the past 17 years. The same quality, same standards and surprisingly the same people around. Sundays are usually crowded and waiting times are extremely long. Ample parking for cars, although across the road. Only issue is the constant honking from the vehicles in the main road ,it isnt that noticable but still is. Happy eating!
