Two years ago I approached Akbar Travels, Vellayambalam to apply for a Schengen Visa to Norway. I had already booked my tickets and had three months before my trip.The guy I met there told me that its almost impossible to go to Norway. Nobody goes there and they dont issue visas liberally. He also told me that booking the tickets early was the greatest mistake I did. He further demotivated me by explaining how difficult it is to get an appointment to VFS. I had to leave the place totally disappointed.Right opposite was Riya Travels. I thought of visiting them to take a second opinion. They told me that its difficult to get a visa to Norway, but not impossible. They gave me a print-out that listed the documents I had to submit and explained to me the procedure. They mentioned that the chances for getting a visa is 50-50. This was indeed a relief. Without any other help from a travel agency, I got all my papers ready, I vent to VFS, and got my visa stamped. I made my trip to Norway as per my schedule.Akbar Travels continue to discourage people from traveling to Europe and promote trips to Asian countries. One of my contacts who approached them lately was told that its not possible to make a family trip to Europe if you are not 30 years old. I dont see any logic in it.

Had approached Akbar Travels Tvm for my wifes Malaysian eNTRI Visa. Gave the required documents, paid the required amount and that is it, the process was smooth. The eNTRI document got issued in 4 hrs time and was sent across to us through whatsap. The fee was Rs 2500/- which is actually less than what some of the other travel agencies quoted.Then a day later I called Akbar Travels frantically cos I needed to leave for Malaysia immediately and I needed the visa asap, hopefully in a day. It was kind of tight schedule so much so dat I didnt even ve time to visit their office. The travel agent was kind and efficient enough and agreed to receive the required documents and payment receipt over whatsap. He submitted the application and as luck would ve it received my eNTRI visa in a couple of hours itself and was sent across to me through whatsap.Dont know about their other services but in my case, for this visa purpose Akbar Travels Tvm was excellent and I would give them 5 stars. And a special shout out to Mr Shajin who handled both our visa processes, efficient and good customer service. Thank you.

They dont know how to talk with customer. Called for an enquiry and the lady who took the call was a little bit harsh. That one call was enough for me to decide whether I should go there or not . You guys should watch and learn from Riya Travels. I wont call or go there again in my life and also, wont suggest to anyone else too.

I approached Akbar travels Vellayambalam for a 3 month visitor visa to Dubai. Over the phone I was told its rather easy to apply and gave me a list of documents to bring along but in person I was asked for a blank cheque for assurance (I was hoping booking a return ticket can be more of an assurance). I also mentioned my brother is the sponsor (ready to provide his UAE resident card, copies of visa/passport, his address and contact details) she just dismissed my enquiry sarcastically by saying why would I need 3 months to see my brother. Well I was seriously let down by her attitude; treat your customers with little respect. Based on my experience, rating the service provided by Ms.Siby as poor and unprofessional. I walked across the road to find RIYA the travel expert, had a very pleasant interaction with the team and also got a much better deal for Rs.13,500 only.

Their is no provision to give less than one start. The worst service with least responsiblity. We opted singapore malaysia trip for this onam i should visit this place again to see that place.They have an itinary and follow according to their interest.According to it it will be visit but they will just show u from bus and if u r dam lucky u will get a 5 min to take a pic u will never have an option to and explore that place which is actually included in the itinary.They would have givem places for shopping but they will never take u to those placed insted they will take u to the places where they get commission.Putrajaya was a place included in the itinary we just got 5 minute stop their.If u just want to take pictures u can do it in photoshop that wasting money with akbar.At universal studios according to itinary they have to give 15$ food couponBut they gave 10$ in hand.Total 40 members when they saved 5$ from each persontheir per day profit is 200$When we complined the reaction of management was pathetic. Guys its a humbel request never ever opt Akbar holidays
