Food and beverage are mediocre at best and unreasonably overpriced. Ambience isnt too bad though the music drowns out everything and spoils it. Go if you have time to kill cause the food takes quite a while to reach the table.Only upside to this place is the hospitality, even got a discount.

Pathetic place. We have ordered three types of burger, a pasta and beef steak. After one hour of waiting got the burger one by one which all tasted the same, the pasta and steak was over saucy and was the quantity of the portion was very less for the price which is a little over 400rs. The food here is overpriced and the place is mediocre place. I personal dont recommend anyone to visit old skool bistro and get looted by the management.Have read a similar review on a page called Eat at Trivandrum* which apparently they disabled the comment.And also we have visted the place on a time where there was covid restrictions and restaurants with open spaces only could provide dine in facility to the customer, which old skool bistro has and when we demanded to go to the terrace, the girl who came to take the order told the roof top is closed. Then again after sometime there was some inspection from a police officer to the restaurant and again the girl came running towards us and asked us to put on our masks as there is a inspection happening. Its high time places like this should be shut down.

Iam visiting oldskool cafe for the past 3 yrs (old bistro). My schl was near to that cafe so we used to hangout there. Everytime we went we had a beautiful time. But this time everything was different. New oldskool succeeded in maintaining a cool ambience. But the taste they provided not came upto the price. I ordered a bbq chicken Burger for 250/- and there was nthng to eat. The burger was so small and didnt meet expectations. Also we ordered some milkshakes. Everything was too sweet. We cant finish that. And also the staffs are too rude . They wont give us a privacy just watching us all the time. And thats so horrible. We pick cafes instead of normal restaurant bcoz we expect a standard behavior from the staffs and a good atmosphere. I personaly recommend dont go there as a couple. They will be watching you guys all the time And behave rudely 🙏🏻🤷🏻‍♀️

As taste wise this restaurant is good . Ambience is superb . Must go to terrace space it is good to sit in open air. Milkshakesand burgers are good . But these ppl made us wait for each and every food we ordered . When we got burger it took more than 30 min and for milkshake another 30 min waiting is too much

A great place to hangout .Must visit, if you are really a foodie. There is a great menu to choose from. Though I only have this picture from my last visit, I had also tried their Chicken steak in brown sauce which was yummy and also their BBQ chicken steak burger which was ok. Altogether the ambience was great, especially if you are planning a dinner there.

A cool cafe n diner with a nice aura inside especially the roof top is half open covered with greeneries and their lightings are 😎 me... Its spacious and accomodates plenty . The food is tasty and are really good. We had chiken n beef burger and they were really juicy n mouth watery. Loved the drinks too. Steaks and club sandwiches are the most ordered menu here. We had cold coffee and strawberry shake .. were good . Liked it. Little costly but still worth for the food quality and presentation. We had food for three at 1000 bucks.The ambience in roof top is too good. And u can click few snaps as its really cool der.Coming to cons...the wait is never ending one.. we ordered at 1850 and got served one by one slowly and steadily and finally got served completely by 2000. Reason from dem ( nobody asked though) was Too Much Rush . I hope changes are made, Atleast to the dishes we had.The beef steak felt like it was made of the rubber from a Tyre. And the sauce wasnt good.Cheesy burger... Has a tiny tiny amount of cheese in the center of a pretty dry Patti.Ambience is good. But hey food is the primary thing in a restaurant.

Got in here for dinner ! Love the ambiance & very creatively done with the bamboos and the logs! Food is quite okey; that’s all I can say, but won’t disappointed. We have ordered some French fries , chicken sizzlers, salad and beef steak & hot sizzler brownie which is all time favourite! Quantity is good. But the food was quite cold thou we ordered hot dishes except the sizzler! The staff was well behaved and great service ! I recommend.

Pretty expensive if im being honest. We just had a burger,pasta and a milkshake and with gst of about 50 rs , out total was 990 rupees. I mean there are so many other alternative cafes which doesnt charge you this much.The food looked really really small in quantity but our tummys got surprisingly full. Wonder what kind of chemicals they adding to make us feel full. Sorry to say this , but if you re on a budget just skip this place 😑

An excellent continental breakfast experience. The Viking breakfast is on the meatier side with choice of eggs, salami,sausage,steak, mashed potatoes, sauted mushrooms and gravy. When the breakfast arrived, my expectations continued to be exceeded. By the end of the meal I am planning my next visit.

The budget bistro in the city, and that too, rich in taste. A steak for around Rs 250 and a club sandwich for around Rs 200. The chicken club sandwich is 4 pieces of bread, crammed with layers of omelet, veggies and non-veg patty, then sliced into four triangular shapes. The Tuna club sandwich is a real juicy, with a mashed layer of tuna in white sauce in the bread layers.The starters are satisfactory, but low in portion. Their steaks are succulent and comes in brown sauce and alfredo sauce, with a side of grilled veggies, mashed potato or fries. The burgers are delicious too and are big enough to fill an average appetite. Their subs, lasagnas, drinks and shakes are not the best, but still worth having.The bistro relocated from Kuravankonam, earlier known as truffles, was designed bigger and better. The interior is modestly splendid- plush pine-wood furniture, rustic sunburnt flooring, plant trough wall and warm incandescent lighting. The terrace floor is a semi open dining area that is all the more charming, especially after nightfall when all the bright lights shine all over the spaces.A meal for a group of 2 would not cost above Rs 500. So eat till your heart’s content, cuz it ain’t costing you much.

This is a very good place to hangout.Nicely lit, calm with some soothing music always going on in the background. They dont have a very large menu, but what they have is very good. Im a fan of steaks they serve. Although the wait time is more and veggies are less, steaks are delicious.

Olds cool bistro is a decent place to have steaks and salads. The smoked chicken with paprika was both filling and delicious, coupled with Rasta Pasta salad which was okay, was rich with pepperonis and sausages. The quality of food served is satisfactory. The ambience is nice, although the table was considerably smaller for two people.

Loved their soft and tenderloin beef burger and the olds school Sunday bbq steak(chicken). The bbq sauce along with the mashed potatoes made it a dashing combo. We ordered some chilli french fries as a starter, that was also pretty good. Overall, my tummy was satisfied and happy.

A rugged ambience, we can choose a cold indoor seating or the semi open roof-top seating (could get slightly warm here).The food served was an absolute joy everytime.The Lasagne to the sandwiches to the steaks, everything was really good.Might be a little pricy but everytime I walked out of that door or even ordered food from there. Undoubtedly one of the best in Trivandrum. Been there so many times and tried almost everything. This is the only place I saw were we could get a super Veg Steak. Menu is short. One of the worst service! We ordered and after 20 min they said they missed our order and took the order again and We waited for more an hour and they still didnt serve the food and and they didnt even serve us water. They kept saying they were having a rush hour despite the place being almost empty apart from 2 or 3 table. They werent even apologetic for the whole situation. It was a very disappointing experience.

This is my 5th time at Olds Cool Bistro and i am certainly disappointed. I had ordered steak, pasta, burger and a passion fruit mojito. Except the mojito all the other dishes were below average. (Especially the Pasta which was too bland and uncooked.)Kindly improve the quality of the dishes.Olds Cool used to be one of our favorite spots but not any longer.

Ive ordered Chicken Steak through Zomato and they delivered Beef Steak. The restaurant Manager called me and when I asked for compensation she told, Zomato is made for giving compensation and used abusive language.Horrible

One of the best burger lounge in Trivandrum. Lots of seats available across the 3 floors. Prices are a bit high and it takes a lot of time to make our dishes(about 30-40 mins). But that wait is worth it, because the burgers are really delicious.

Hi The good old TRUFFLES bistro near kuravankonam junction is back here in new looks and name-OLDS COOL. They started with soft opening and old menu. But they able to maintain the up standard in there signature dishes. An enthusiastic bunch of young guys running the show with passion.The new place named OLDS COOL .Really good ambiance,lot of seating area -two floors. First floor air conditioned and top floor covered top with open surroundings. Good job done.The lighting is little overlooked.Waiting to experience there full fledged kitchen soon.

I have visited the place two times to be precise. Food here is awesome. Steak & Sizzlers are really good. Interior is just amazing. Not like you wanna soak in for hours but they have conceptualised it well. Staff service is also satisfactory.

I ordered chicken steak with hot garlic sauce and it was really good. The ambience is also nice and the price is quite reasonable no extra tax from wats written on the menu unlike some other restaurants, will definitely go back.
