Marriage mandapam available .surrounding full hills. Very calm area. Avoid plastic zone. Keep clean support every one. Good temple for devotional persons.

Situated on the hill top of kaithamalai amidst lush greenery. Temple is well maintained and not an ancient site! Premises are clean. The kalasams had been replaced with newer ones which I didnt like.

One of the best temples of lord muruga you can go there by car till the temple or else you can also use the steps available temple is easily accessible from the nearest town uthukuli the temple is well maintained in normal time crowd is less and you can get a good worship but in festival time usually it is very crowded parking is available but it is not free you can have a good peaceful Darshan

Uthukuli Murugan Temple is situated 15 km far, north-east Tiruppur city and 4km north of Uthukuli junctionOnce saint Agastiyar came to this place for meditation but was not able to find water. He prayed to Lord Muruga to help him. Soon Lord Muruga appeared before him and thrust His lance (Vel) in the sand. Soon water spring came from the spot. That place is called “Uthukuli, which was revered as a holy place. Some 200 years ago, some local ruler expanded the place and built a new temple. The temple has seen significant renovation and expansions in recent times, making this a popular destination in Tiruppur District. Uniquely, in Uthukuli temple, temple car is in the hill and devotees pull the temple car in the slopes. There is no other place in the world where a temple car is pulled in the hill. Hence the God is called as “Vetri Velayudha Swami” and the Temple is called “Kaithamalai Murugan Temple”.
