Very powerful and well known Goddess for south Tamilnadu people.Every year there are festival in between March and April. Around Tamilnadu and other states living Tamil people participate the festival. There are public transport facility from Madurai Sivagangai and Maanamadurai.There is a tank near by the temple, after taking bath on tank every people will go for worship. Nice place to visit with family and spend time with family

Powerful temple of Madha sakthi

Thayamangalam is a small village in Sivagangai district of Tamilnadu. Mari Amman is a mother goddess. In Tamil month Punguni 22 is the most celebrated day here. Throughout the year devotees are visiting here for Mothers blessings. In the month of Punguni one week is the most celebrated week. People from all over Tamilnadu and Tamils from other States also visit here. It is a medium sized Temple with a holy tank. Welconnected with road transports. Visit here, have the blessings of Mother goddess.

Wonderful temple. I heard lot about this earlier and visited.Temple timing is from 7a.m - 7p.m. On Tuesdays and Fridays temple will be opened till 7:30 p.m.

Not safety place at final day festivel...over crowded on that day....no basic amenities...better to visit on other days rather than festival days

( Read in English & Tamil below)I travelled with my worship to muthu Mariamman.But, i cant worship at her temple dharsan due to their management peoples activities.1.The shop keeper cheat us with over rate for affordable pooja materials (too much cost, they are cleverly handled us using amman name, forcing to buy excessive materials... We feel its ok, all for amma. So, tolerate to purchase (one family, but 2 plates) ).2. Before entering into temple, The Archakar is waiting and(hindu samaya aranilayathurai) ask Rs.40/- for breaking the 2 coconuts. He is not allowed to taken these pooja materials into amman except Flower malai. I ask, why should i give Rs.40? He said with lethargically that coconut breaking by special machine (very irritating reply).3. Entry into amman sannathi, another archakar ask Rs.10 for theepa arathanai. Again, Rs.10 /- for malai return to us from amma. Again Rs. 10 for kungumam, thiruneer pockets.Dear,Government of Hindu samaya aranilayathurai Tamil Nadu.. What is going on?Do you know about these type of corruption?Because , the officer is sit there. I think he got some brief or share from shop keeper and archakars side.Too much begger outside is there.We finally give that money from heart.
