Right now (27/12/2018) its under development but the management here is very dull i think. The platform and the waiting hall is very dirty. Problem of clean drinking water. .Here you can find automatic ticket vending machine (ATVM).

It is situated near Maa Thawe wali durga mandir ,...Visit to Thawe(District-Gopalganj) is not complete without a visit to this temple. This station become crowds mostly at the time of navratri and sawan. In this place Pundakiya sweet is famous all over india.

Thawe called Maa ka Nagri. Most people visits Thawe to have darshn of Maa Durga. I have been many times in my life and wishing to visit always. Before the year 2015, chhoti line train used to run on this station towards Chhapra and Gorakhpur, but now chhoti line trains have closed because the railway has started badi line trains on Thawe root. Earlier the trains used to stop half an hour at Thawe Jn. So that, people could have darsan of Maa. Padakiya sweet is famous in Thawe. I would strongly recommend you to eat at least one Pudakiya of Guatishankar Sweet House.

Now we r happy to start Express trains from thawe junction but waiting long root trains from thawe to delhi and mumbai.

You can spend good time sitting here as this is very less crowded and is away from pollution.Well being biased so as this is my home place, I am giving this 4 ratings as this deserves even below this.Less amenities, lack of infrastructure and lack of no of trains are the disadvantage.

Hi there people, I’m sure many of you are searching for the reservation counter timing of Thawe Junction. So, the counter at Thawe Jn opens at 08 AM daily to 04 PM (16:00) daily and on Sunday it is open untill 14:00 i.e. 2PM.This review is dated- 02-10-2019

This is very good station. I like this station because i live here.. other station is good than thawe because there is no food plaza, no wi fi.. if you want to take food or something to eat so you have to come back side of station.

Perhaps only junction of gopalganj,trains starting from here to siwan,chhapra,kaptanganj,etc..,better services here inside and just outside of this station,there are also foodshops nearabout it,there is also reservation counters here,a historical place of gopalganj,nearest to highway,private reservation counters also outside,a lot of 3 wheelers serving to gopalganj bus stand, currently there is renovations work going on

Thave Durga Temple is a Durga temple built by Hathuva Raja situated at a place called Thawe in Gopalganj district of Bihar state. [1] It is just 5 km from the district headquarters. A huge fair is held here in the month of Chaitra. There is a huge tree visible near the temple whose botanical classification has not been done. There are many stories about the temple idol and the giant tree.

The station is good. It has almost all the passenger facilities that are at a normal Indian railway station. From this station, Gorakhpur Padrauna Gopalganj Chhapra Gonda Basti Lucknow Siwan Anand Vihar Terminal etc. can be visited.

Thawe Junction is the main station of Gopalganj.There is a direct train from Thawe to Chhapra Kachhri and Hathua Junction.From Hathua Junction, Siwan Chhapra Hajipur can go to Muzaffarpur.From Thawe junction, one can go to Gorakhpur via Tamkuhi Road Padrauna Kapatanganj.After moving 20 km from Thawe Junction, Taraya Sujan station arrives.
