Great place, great service

500+acres of pristine greenery for a small number of guests. There is no place that comes close to Fringe ford in what they deliver. Shaaji is fabulous and a pleasure to walk the property with.

I had an amazing few days escape out at Fringe Ford. It was right out in the jungle, very peaceful, the food was spectacular and the hikes were great too.I cannot recommend it enough!

Fantastic experience. Cut off from the world. Get to know the flora and fauna of the Western Ghats. Great place if u want to be active or just to laze around and observe nature. However u need the right attitude to enjoy this place. If u are looking for luxury and moderns comforts this is not for you.

I absolutely love this place, we had three magical days exploring the forests around Fringe Ford with Shaji our expert guide to the areas fauna and flora. The adventure starts by being picked up from the main road for a ride up the bumpy track through tea plantations in a 4x4. Then as soon as we were ready it was out on the first of several walks, there is nothing like being on foot to take you closer to the wild and its a great tonic after the hustle bustle and being driven around so much. It is a very back to nature place with no sounds of cars, mopeds etc and no WiFi or mobile reception which added to the get away from it all experience. The room was comfortable and the food good but really its all about the location and Shajis deep knowledge of his surroundings unlocking the secrets of the forest for us.

What a place!! A must visit if you are in search of serenity. No phones, great rooms with huge bathrooms. Courteous staff but plan in advance and visit just after the monsoons.

The best wildlife/ Nature campsite in the country. And the first private game reserve in the country..

Wonderful location. Great place to relax! The caretaker Saaji is the best caretaker ever. If you love jungle hikes and photography,this is the place to be.

BEST WAY TO FEEL NATURE .BEST SERVICE

Wildlife and trekking paradise.I have seen tiger,tusker,bison and deers.Did 5kms pond,twin tower and water falls trekking.

The location is very good, however the rooms are just ok Ok. The food provided is pretty ordinary too. But location is worth visiting once. The last few kms to the location is very risky, you need an off roader or better to travel by their vehicle. Absolutely no coverage for any mobile service provider. You will have to travel a couple of kms to get the coverage. Wild animals roaming around us a great sight to see, however not enough security if something does go wrong. Best to visit without kids and elderly people.

Beautiful, quiet Wayanad made even more remarkable by this gorgeous private estate (500 acres of it) and a lone bungalow in the heart of the natural reserve. Stunning forests all around and the most hospitable staff - Shaji, the naturalist and your ever willing trekking guide and local ranger. And Muthu, the cook who has been on the estate for the last 60yrs. Plus no network or mobile connection - lose yourself in nature and dont miss it!

One of its kind(wild and beautiful)

...few are those places still relatively untouched or rather reclaimed from cultivation to sheer wilderness... the plethora of wildlife from insects, birds or the majestic mammals that abound these hills... every ruffle or crackle of leaves lets you know these rare creations of God are still there some where... staring at you from the dense foliage... dont be mistaken if you see greenish yellow almond shaped curious shapes in the night fixed at you from the opposite hills...you are being watched... shadowy figures march from no where to graze in the meadow in front of Fringe Ford... only then could I fathom the emmense size of these goliaths... just stood there admiring them.... Bisons...and the male bison is the epitome of muscularity and strength... even the adolescent bull elephant trumpeted once but not advancing much to this hulk... on our trek one morning we found proof that the big cats were still around scratch marks on tree barks, scat etc... last but not the least the staff here need all kudos for their helpfullness and hospitality... and Shaji you rock!!

Hello i am a tourist driver, i dropped my client near ⛽ and I have to wait for 4 days to come for my client to take them back to 🛬, now for me three nights where to stay, no washroom, no room to stay, this is disgusting to tell my disgusting experience thanks for fringe ford
