We originally want to the store to pick up out usual cat food, however mentioned to Jess that we are due to pick up our new puppy in 3 weeks and she gave us a very detailed overview of your food treats and all things puppy we would need. We came away with so much information and leaflets it was so helpful. Jess is a brilliant addition to your team and really put our minds at ease. We will be back with our new addition soon.

I must sing the praises for Jess, she spent so long & was so patient & understanding with fitting a muzzle for my rescue dog who has settled well, but does have issues. Jess won her over very quickly. Thank you Jess

When we first went they gave us great advice on what to give hamsters. They told us what bedding was good for them. They also told us how to handle the hamsters for the first few days. The two people who were helping us were really friendly and gave us all the answers to the many questions we asked. Also the service there is really good. 🙂

Thatcham Pets Corner store is always well stocked, clean and tidy. There is enough space and clear guidance to keep visitors and staff safe during Covid. The staff are always friendly and helpful and keen to offer advice.

My Daughter and I walked into Pets Corner completely uninformed about owning a Hamster, but the staff were really friendly, especially Liara who was so patient, helpful and knowledgeable on all things Hamster. Her enthusiasm was great and she really put myself and my daughters worries to rest, so hopefully within about 2 weeks we will be the proud owners of a pet Hamster. :)

I have a 4 month old puppy. I went to Pets Corner to ask about raw food and kibble. They were very knowledgeable and helpful! Fab service! I now know the best foods and treats for my puppy! I also wanted a coat which they were great at advising on for a growing puppy and toys for teething! I will definitely use Pets Corner in Thatcham for my puppys needs!

Such a great pet shop. Spacious, clean shop which holds masses of great stock. The staff are always helpful and friendly and there is plenty of free parking which is a bonus! Thoroughly recommend.

I can not rate Pets Corner in Thatcham highly enough, the staff are so friendly, professional, helpful and very knowledgeable. I went in today with my 9 week old puppy Labradoodle, and had such a great experience with him. Laura could not have been more helpful, I want to say a massive thank you for helping me and answering all my questions and putting my mind at rest at this new experience we are having. 100% recommended, I now wont go anywhere else!!

The Thatcham team are fabulously friendly & knowledgeable about their stock. The store is well laid with lots of stock from a variety of different brands. When I was struggling to get Fletch settled on a feed, the staff were so helpful. I found a quality brand of feed not available in the mainstream stores or supermarkets & straight away Fletch settled on that food. I highly recommend Pets Corner and in particular the Thatcham team!

Our two dogs go the groomers and always come back with the best fur cut and they smell amazing!

Lots of product choices, very helpful staff

The staff here really do care about and have a love for animals. One member of staff stopped traffic and even abandoned her car to help my lost, frightened greyhound. With people like that working there - you know you’re talking to the right people !

Always enjoy a visit to our local store, great quality items and the team is always very friendly. Our dogs start pulling on the lead as soon as they realise where were going as theyre so excited to say hi and maybe even get a sneaky biscuit!

Overpriced pet shop, with strong preference to dogs. Positives include food for wildlife e.g. ducks and hedgehogs. Small election for small animals, with several unhealthy treats full of artificial colours and cereals.

My dog loves going to pets corner and the staff give her the attention she enjoys. I find the staff approachable and willing to help. They are true to their word and are happy for products to be returned if they dont work for my dog. I probably purchase and visit more than I need to as my dog will drag me in if I walk past...which indicates how much she rates the store.

Visiting Pets Corner is always great. They have a brilliant range of products for all sorts of pets. The staff are always so helpful. I usually deal with Sophie and she goes out of her way to advise and help me and teach my kids about animals and their welfare. Love the new decor too.

I bought my guinea pigs from here a few months ago and they are the cutest ever! Every time I go into the store they ask how the boys are doing and are genuinely interested in my pets. They are so friendly, and I always end up spending far longer than I need to in there having a chat!

Very good range of pet foods, including for reptiles. We have bought tropical fish there. The staff have very good knowledge. Update July 2017: the store has had a refit and no longer sells tropical fish but it now has a dog grooming parlour.

I needed a new harness for my old dog, so thought Id try this store. They were great with her as she is partially sighted and can be a bit nervous. The girl spent a long time reassuring my dog and was very gentle with her. Great service.

I visited the shop yesterday as I had noticed that my cat Misty had a tick on her chin. I was panicking as I had no idea how to get it off. The girls were very reassuring and helpful, they showed me the correct tool to remove it and talked me through doing so. They were so friendly, I will definitely be going back there if I have any more issues!

Love it here, friendly service and high quality products, and Ive bought four hamsters from here over the years who have all been lovely temperament and very adorable! Even made a friend with one of the staff members. Highly recommend

Staff very friendly and helpful. Love the Puppy Hour where our dog gets to socialise with other puppies and we can shop with 10% discount. This is great whilst building up our puppies supplies. The store is well stocked and maintained with everything we could need.

I dont shop here too often because it is a bit more expensive, but its welcoming enough and theres always staff on hand to help. The only thing I would say is upstairs where they keep the pets (guinea pigs, rabbits etc), theyre actually locked behind a door with large windows. You can see them just fine but Im not sure why they are shut off like that (if theres a valid reason thats fine) but it always makes me think the little animals inside cant hear much of whats going on about them. Overall not too bad but I prefered when they had PamPurred Pets at the garden centre.

I visited Pets Corner in Thatcham for the first time when we needed puppy food. Your assistant Sarah was very knowledgeable about all dog food, so much so that when we had a problem with our older dogs food we returned to the store specifically to talk to her and get her advice. Again she was great, letting me know all the options and giving me her opinion when I asked her advice. I went back today with both dogs and all the staff were very friendly and helpful, again Sarah went out of her way to help me. We will definitely use Pets Corner always now, having previously only ever used Pets at Home.
