Marvelous place. This is the back side of banasurasagar dam. Its very peaceful atmosphere. When heavy rain fall occurs this region is under water

I had an opportunity to visit this place last year as a part of my trip to wayanad. The famous Karlad lake is only few kilometers away. Another major tourist spot near Thariyod is the famous Banasura Sagar Dam. A wonderful village in Wayanad. The view of green capped hills and valleys and beautiful lakes is mesmerizing. This place is easily accessible by road. The climate is fantastic.

It is a small village in Wayanad,Kerala. Natural beauty of Thariode is mind blowing. Climate here is wonderful. Thariode have a breath taking view. It is surrounded by banasurasagar Asias 2nd largest earth dam and forest. Karlad lake is at Thariode. Nice place to enjoy with family and friends
