I liked the food here. They serve Indian menu only but it definitely lives upto Sanjeev Kapoor standards. We were served complementary fried papad at the beginning.Then we ordered the following dishes:1) Lemon Cucumber Rassam Soup- This tangy soup is delicious and lip smacking. Youll wish you were served some idli on the side.2) Samosa Chat- I dont usually order street food in restaurants. This one was decent, not the best Ive had though.3) Chili Cheese Chicken Kebab- these are not spicy so if you are expecting them to be then youll be disappointed. But we loved how tender the chicken was and the cheese quantity was just right.There was no room in our bellies for main course. Also we were served complementary paan in the end.

Had a good experience at the dinner we had here.The ambience is very calm and good.Coming to the taste of food we had here, the starters were very good to taste, nicely grilled.For the main course, we went in for a combination of Indian bread and gravy dish. Subz panchvati was good to taste and had unique blend of masala whether it was non veg gravy or veg gravy.What stole the show was the biryani we went for, Nizami tarkari biryani. It was wonderful to taste and was quite a good biryani to feed upon.For the dessert, we went in for dark chocolate brownie fudge, I would not say it was not good and also I would not say it was mind blowing. Maybe I had a bit of expectation from it, but it was ok to taste.

Zomato Gold 2+2 on drinks works here. Food was delicious, Juices were good too.They have broken the stereotypes of only serving saunf at the end. Instead they serve a pan specially made for you. For drinks we ordered Peru Pyala (spicy), Tarbooz (sweet) and mint juicy Julep (mint and tangy). And for main course we ordered Nizami Tarkari Biryani. The food was served very fast. With all these dishes ordered, prepared, delivered, and ate in all 1.5 hours time. In all we had a good experience.

Beautiful ambience and amazing food. Tried a few of their Mocktails and chicken starters. Among the starters Angara Lal Mirch Tikki was really great but Chowringhee Chilli Chicken was just average. Place is a little pricey but its worth the experience.

Three days ago we (family) went to our favorite The Yellow Chilli again at Viviana Mall Thane. The mall, for shopping and The Yellow Chilli for eating is a lethal combination. You cant go wrong. As we are vegetarians we asked the help of Chef. Promptly came out Chef Mayur; a smart guy with signature moustache and infectious smile. He suggested newly introduced Thand Rakh menu with winter specialties. We grabbed the offer. Captain Nagendra took over from there and we started with the welcome drink, table appointments and rolled papad. The chhunda served here is just too good. I keep eating it with papad till the food comes. Good strategy by the management as in this age of mobiles, people have less patience to wait! In came the new Beetroot ki Gilawat; mind boggling it was. We are light eaters and foodies, so we order less dishes and relish them one by one. Chef Mayur made Achari Shalgam Gobhi the way we used to have it in our native Allahabad, yummy. To accompany that was my all time favorite Methi Thepla and hing ke tadke wali peeli daal. I just need sliced onion or mukka pyaaz to go with it. Peru Pyala mocktail came in as this particular drink can beat any wine and food combination. Once done with the main course was the time for meethi mulaqatein. Nagendra brought in Gajrela of in-season red carrots. Again reminded me how my grand father used to make in a long drawn process with natural sweetness of carrots and milk. Less of khoya/mawa and more of natural gajar ka taste. Their new Mukhwas Kulfi is something to die for. Combine that with Gajrela and your meal is complete. I am all set to come again here for rest of the vegetarian offering in Thand Rakh menu.Only request to management is to give a new look to the place as after many visits in last 4 years, there is some fatigue in me for the looks specially the artificial greenery. And why you have removed the seating from the terrace, thats my favorite place to sit and enjoy the food... Kindly put it back.Thank you The Yellow Chilli for serving very different food from the routine and special thanks to Chef Mayur and Nagendra for making our another visit to a memorable one again.

The Yellow Chilli - Thane located at Viviana Mall has ambiance. The decor is pleasing. We had Tomato Basil Shorba, it was awesome. Sweet Corn soup was good. I ordered Murg Hara Pyaaz. It turned out to be a superb chicken dish. Veg. Fried Rice was good.Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Very nice place to have dinner with family. The ambience is very good and so is the food quality. The service was quick but one thing I noticed was that the menu had kind of limited dishes available in veg courses. Also one thing to note is that the prices are a bit on the expensive side and it would cost around 1800 for 3 people for dinner.

This place is on the expensive side. Not all dishes on the menu justify the price that you pay. One recommended starter would be Cheese chicken tikka. A little improvement with the service would be a good thing as well. Not that it was bad. Just that the stuff could do with being a little more attentive.

Boy oh boy. I must write a review for this one. I am not a food reviewer but believe me I know how good food tastes. I took my parents to this restaurant at Thane and the two stars Im giving is just because of the helpful and well behaved staff who served us very well but alas the food was horribly tasteless so much, that for a moment I thought my taste buds are no longer working.Advice : if you are north Indian and searching for some food you know what I mean. I had dinner at this Yellow Chilli on a Friday night. The restaurant has a cozy ambience and an expensive menu. That’s also because of the fact that this is a brand from the celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor. The food we had was really good and filling. The oil and spices were perfectly balanced and I was happy about that.

I have dined at this restaurant several times. The food is generally good and does have authentic recipes.The menu is limited but does provide enough choices. A limited menu is not a bad thing in itself but I would like to see more variety - especially for vegetarians. Not necessary more items on the menu.They do make small update/s to their menu from time to time.Overall I do recommend this place though it is bit expensive.

Authentic South Indian Restaurant among all the South Indian Restaurants out there in Surat. No other restaurant can beat its taste.Staff is very helpful, they can make mistake but very adaptive to accept and resolve to customers satisfaction level, to name Shersinh & Dilip were exceptional with their services. Overall full-star experience.

Taste is authentic which you expect in a chain run by star celebrated chef sanjeev kapoor But quantity is less Starters and side dishes are good Main dishes are well thought out and properly balanced Extended family lunch out at Yellow Chilli was a good experience. We tried the Tuesday menu. Good taste, the right balance, not overspiced. Seniors in the group liked it a lot. The spread was good with suitable combinations.

The soup tasted alright. But the paneer tikka could surely taste better since it was one of the signature items. The Irani lollipops were comparatively better. Garlic butter Naan and Mutton Gosht was really tasty. The paan served in the end of the meal was good too. The service was excellent. The staff was very polite.The ambiance was decent too. The taste of the food could surely improve.

Nice Food for vegetarian and ambiance is also nice, mostly starter Manu was nice, service was not up to the mark for the money we are paying, I am giving 3 start for the service and for food I am giving 4 star. We paid around 2500 for 4 people with starter, main course and Dessert.

The quality of food has drastically dropped. Today we ordered chicken green onion which was too salty.... We had been there many years back when the only outlet was in powai.. Back then the food was bland.. And since then, we had been avoiding it.. But one nighy we decided to go there with friends.. N maan! Were we happy.. There has been a huge change since then.. The food is so much better n in lines with the Indian taste buds.. The quality of the food is great and it does stand out from the rest of the restaurants.. Happy we decided to check in here.. N have been there a couple of times since then.. Enjoyed our meals every time 😃

It has a perfect ambience. Very good food and well mannered staff. We had tomato basil shorba, shabnam ke moti (stuffed mushroom), naan and adraki dhaniya paneer. Stuffed ourselves with delicious food. I also had Mango adrak fizz.

Food is good but service is very slow. 2 dishes and 7 breads took them 30 mins to prepare and serve.The staff is also little clumsy. When I asked them to change my plate after having snacks, they only changed the plate and moved my used cutlery to the new plate instead of changing it. They only changed it after I complained.The after meal refreshment was a surprise. They serve small pan and imly candy.

Dont eat the non veg platter. All items taste the same. The flavours are same. The signature items such as Galouti are not included in the platter. This is something that you need to avoid.Sanjeev Kapoor needs to work on this option.

Some amazing food and really nice ambience. I loved the Lalla Mussa Dal and how the flavours of north India just melt in your mouth. The cocktail was just as incredible. The place has a royalty feel to it and worth going at least once!

Had been to the Thane outlet in Viviana mall. Hungry, saw the hotel and was excited to know that its one of those chain restaurants by famous Chef Sanjeev Kapoor.Entering hotel made me feel good as the ambience of the hotel is really up to the mark living up to the name of Chef.However looking at the menu disappointed me as I was seeing dishes which were not what a traditional restaurant would host.The dishes were fusion products which were totally new for a less frequent diner like me. Thus the wish to eat traditional menu prepared by the master chefs style went in vain.The menu had very limited preparations to offer and were average in taste too.Those who wish to try something different could give it a try.

Pathetic restaurant, you will get tasty food in footpath rather then this restaurant. We had gone for team lunch and worst buffet lunch ever, they literally count how many chicken pieces r fish each one eats and literally searches for chicken in the gravy when they serve it, and please dont even dare to ask for desserts again.

Bowled over is the paan served at the end.This was the 3rd time I visited Yellow Chilly, this time with my family. The prebooking through Eazydiner helped as we got our seats reserved, despite a bit of crowd being a holiday.
