Its good to have big open places in between of the busy city,Plan for a cricket or football match here during summers and winters.During monsoons the ground automatically becomes a garden full of long grass

The ground is located at Ghodbunder Road, opposite of new dp road. Which is big in size but maintenance required. Many people come for walking jogging police training and as well as for horse riding.

Its a good ground. You can learn tennis and cricket their. Nice denwt coaching. Lots of children and peoople around. It has been proposed for a professional cricket . Hope it will good for Thane future. There are lots of tower and a school around the place. Only worry for me was its maintainxr. Hope they take care of it . Center of the ground has a good pitch and nete on the side. Parking also enough on the sides.

Good big ground, but lots of small stones and pebbles, not enough or comfortable seating space for spectators, parking for 2 and 4 wheelers available.

Dont expect the world out of this ground. There is an enclosed net area for formal training of sports including cricket and tennis (not very sure). A big chunk of the field is for cricket tournaments.Remaining is for could have been cricketers but now an employee story Wale people like you and me. So, typically at least 15 teams of varying team strengths would be playing at the same time.The field is hard and might I say one side is quite rocky and with ground holes. So as a fielder beware! Unfortunately the trees along the field boundary wall have been chopped off..why????So, if you are an employee who has enrolled for office tournaments then you can come to this ground latest by 7:30 in the morning else you wont get a place. Get some practice, get your stumps, bats and tennis balls (unwritten rule or you might end up injuring people around) and all for free!Water, tea stall is some 50 min away, so might as well carry on your own.
