Its my near home station no more rush. Good station.

The station and the surrounding area have undergone a great deal of improvement. Sheltered path to walk from auto stand till station is very useful in monsoon.Developments -1. 2 FOBs (FOB on both CSMT and Kalyan end now feature 2 entry and 3 exits with 1 escalator on CSMT end.2. Extension of platforms to accommodate 15 car locals3. PF3 and 4 constructed, PF3 is adjacent to current PF2 towards Kalyan end. Tracks being laid.4. 3 ticket booking offices instead of earlier 2 booking offices5. One more exit from FOB on PF2 once the extension of the same is completed6. 5th and 6th tracks laying in progress.1 more escalator needs to be installed on PF1 as a large chunk of crowd can use it conveniently from PF1 ticket booking office.

Kalva is railway station on the Central Line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway. It is located in Kalwa.

This station comes before thane railway station. It is now well developed and clean station in thane district. Good entrance and exit. Facilities are good. Most crowded place and easy way available for Thane.

Railway station is almost have of no use since all trains are already packed

Do not !!!! I say do not dare to catch train from here in the 8am-10am slot! Youll be left on the station waiting for a train to come thatll finally not be jam packed. Also at late night be safe because its near a slum area and Mobile snatching incidents are common if you stand near door!But its getting better and better with time in the terms of security and safety. Recently they have installed escalator on platform no. 02 and also police is always present in the office on platform 01

Dirty station near thane station

One of the central railway station. You cant get train from 8AM to 10 AM towards CST.Elevators available on one side..For rest of the time.. not that crowded place...

This station comes before thane railway station. It is now well developed and clean station in thane district. My dad teaches in college which is in Kalwa.

Improvising day by day but need peoples support to keep and maintain the nearby places neat and tidy. Self Responsibility of each and every citizen to keep the nearby places and stations- neat and clean.

One of the central railway station is too narrow for a crowd in working hours, yet its under development now, hope for good.

Located in Thane district. Kalwa is also a busiest railway station as mostly in d mornings n Evenings. However, its not safe enough as not much RPF security available. Not also sure if the station cameras if its in a good working condition. Need maintenance (Central Railway) should take initiative to maintain their customer security on this station instead of increasing the platforms for more public to create a mess, later they can increase their assets idea of adding more 2 tracks for consumer requirement. They should think about safety n security prior thinking of increasing their business. A general thought as per a citizen thinking about the senior citizens n young children who travel for private tutions, attending school, away from home n much more transportation. Would feel proud if these changes take place real time. Would feel good to salute to the Government of Central Railway. Hope to see changes sooner. Thanks

Too much crowd on the station .You are unable to grab train in morning after 7 am to 11:30am.The good thing is TC ( ticket checker is sometimes available) so you can make a way to get yourself without being caught by TC.

Govt has being taking alot of initiative to improve the mode of transport. As soon as you get out of station you can either commute through bus auto or simply by walking.Being a local of Kalwa I have always seen this station quite busy.

Totally disgusting , with poor traffic handling, no rules almost and no proper stands for autos too.Purely confusing for new comer with bus depot almost near by station adds more traffic to it, even u will find horse ridding on station for transportation purpose. Auto charge any amount for new comer + they have different queues for diff areas which is not clear at all

One of the best Stations on Centrql line. Its clean and well managed. Though its a slow train station still youll find much crowd there.

Improved a lot. Auto rickshaw support is good. How ever no eateries on platform or water provision. Security is also not seen. So seems uncomfortable for women in nights with lot of homeless beggers and drug addicts roaming at night.....

Useful station for everybody who have not self transport. In this station have a problem that very crowed in morning and evening. Because only tow platform is here. Recently started construction for to more platform. I hope after constructed more platform crowed will be less as compare to earlier.

Very very crowded railway station specially in morning time after 6.30amThose who are new in Thane and planning to travel by local after 6.30am in local from Kalwa station...Its my strict advise Dont go to Kalwa station..as you will not even get to climb in train..its too crowded in office time..Better you catch auto or TMT bus from Kalwa west and come to THANE station.From Thane station in every 10 min train leaves..

Kalwa railway station still yet to be developed more from railways authorities. Amenities and infrastructure are not provided to local commuters. Nowadays its too crowded at Kalwa station. Need more work to be done to entire station.

No fresh room, no drinking water available,no escalator,no indicators on over bridge and east side is worst as pot holes and drainage waters are always leaked, never carry any luggage to this station as roads are uneven and on east side you wont even get any public transport facility, trains are never on time and there are only 4 benches to seat on this station. Ticket window on east side is always shut down

Platforms are not clean. Gutters are open. Low maintenance and escalator is on wrong side

If you can land here in fast train then half your journey is done.Otherwise ok station. Not much crowded but beware of pickpockets.You can catch an auto from outside the station to reach Gigaplex (Accenture and Capgemin is situated there)

The kalva station is a part of Central root just before parsik tunnel in the route. Station is not well maintained after thane next station is kalva which gives mixture of both city as well as village mostly it feels like village as it is not that much developed right now.

The west side area is pretty good you can catch auto easily

Kalwa west is ok compared to east.About the station, Ok seating, nothing much to say.Will get rickshaw to mind space Airoli, patni, thane from Kalwa west outside the station. You can book Ola and Uber from outside the station as well...There is ATM outside the station too. TMT Bus to Thane as well. Roop is built from outside the station till the ticket counter.

One of the only stations which does not have a canteen,Even the urinary is too far away

Located in central line this is becoming one of the fastest growing subarban stations. Employees working in companies like Mukund, Accenture, Capgemini etc can get a sharing rickshaw from nearby.

Kalwa is nice location. Its near to schools, colleges, market, hospitals, banks, ATMs, supermarket, midc Navi Mumbai area. Well connected and thane railway station 4kms away, Mumbai Nashik highway and Mumbai airport 20 kms

Kalwa station is not far from thane.. you can travel to airoli from kalwa station. You can get share auto up to kalwa naka and then you have to get down at kalwa naka and catch another share auto for airoli...Many of those who travel to airoli use the root by kalwa by catching auto...

One of the worst railway stations of Mumbai. Most of the pickpockets and mobile theft takes place in this station itself. Even the thiefs resides here near the localities of the station. The station features 2 platform with 2 fob, 1 escalator and 1 lift. More 2 platforms is under construction and soon it will be operational. The station has washrooms and ticket counter at platform ends. The station is semi clean and paan spots are easily visible.

Lacks basic amenities as case of every other railway station. Hope the expansion will help. Sanitation is poor and so the cleaning.
