Serving musicians of Mumbai for about 3 generations this is the best place to get your string instruments repaired and restored.ONCE their self- made guitars were very famous.Now they only repair and restore.Music stores like BHARGHAVAS send their instruments to this place only for repair.Very knowledgeable staff,I went their to fix Action(bent neck) in my guitar and was satisfied by their repair work.They also explained me the different areas of my guitars neck having different bends and the solution for it.But it took them around 2-3 weeks as they are usually very busy.

It was a pleasant surprise to find luthier John Pereira in this small workshop in Thane. Having spoken to him, prior to the visit to get the toggle switch of my prized Gretsch replaced, I was a bit sceptical on seeing the place. Rest assured, I had found a gem! This gent, a third generation luthier knows his woods, strings and pick ups! His workmanship is amazing. Saw an example of a fret work he had re-done on a maple tele neck. As for my switch, it was changed within an hour and its back to its original state. You need your string instruments repaired, reinstated, John is your man. He obviously loves his trade. Dont hurry him though! Hell not charge you an arm and a leg either. Long may you run John, and others in your trade!

I think its the only place in Thane Kalyan Dombivli region which provides such a good service when it comes to guitars. Doesnt matter how badly the guitar is damaged, this guys will get it fixed for you within reasonable price. A heads up though they will take a lot of time to do it and youll have to give them a follow-up calls during this time.
