I purchased a Dell 3583 few months ago but it takes 10 minutes to extract a 12 mb zip file. Very slow inspite of 8gb RAM. Used mobile Hotspot to connect to internet but few software doesnt download files from the net. Eg Maven. Takes a long time to download 82mb files from the net

I went to Dell Exclusive Store on Ram Maruti Road in Aug 2018. I was looking for a recent Dell laptop with strong specs. I already had a Compaq laptop which was becoming a bit obsolete. I run a lot of different programming softwares on my machine. I like trying out new things.With high ends specs in mind I approached the Dell Store. The sales representative received me very well.We began chatting and soon he found that I did my homework. He knew what I was after. While chatting I casually mentioned that the internet connections are quite stable these days. I should be able to access my laptop from anywhere in the world!That kicked off another interesting discussion. And you know what? The rep convinced me to buy a high end desktop! Instead of spending money on another laptop I could invest it in a further higher end desktop. I still have my old laptop which I can use to connect to the desktop over the internet. I mean using Remote Desktop Protocol, to be precise. Sounds convincing, isnt it? Finally, I bought the desktop.I certainly did not expect such a high level of expertise. Thumbs up !!!
