Best school in Thane. Really blessed to have my children study in this school.

Very disciplined & meticulous teaching. There are very professional and not into money minting business. This was my best decision ever to get my kids enrolled in DAV Public school Thane. I can sense a change in kids behavior, learning.

Rude and disrespectful staff at the front.We went to inquire about admissions for Jr. Kg and they have an Information Desk right at the entrance, after entering the gate.The man behind the desk seems to consider himself the owner of the plot where the school stands. Ridiculously rude.We asked our first question and he says Please check out the school website and it will give all information. Ok fine. We then asked if we can know the fees since we couldnt find anything on the website.He said Fees will be shown on the website once you apply. We said fees should be known beforehand as it could be a factor in decision making for parents. He said Nobody comes to our school with fees as a factor. Great response Mr. Jeff Bezos! Then he gave some random approx. numbers for fees. When we asked if we can just look around the school infra, he sternly refused saying we dont allow anybody inside, not even before Covid. Further, he bluntly says You were still able to cross the gate and walk 10 steps to the information desk, otherwise even that is not allowed.Really???? What is the purpose of Information Desk if it is not allowed to be visited by parents?? And note, all this talk was with a blank face, no smile, no positive attitude, nothing.A school that doesnt exhibit respect to parents and doesnt show a welcoming attitude to parents who would be sending their kids for the next decade to the school, doesnt deserve to call itself a school. What respect will they teach our kids who themselves cannot respect their parents? Bye, bye DAV, my child deserves better! Or put it this way, you dont deserve my child!

I have studied in this school and I definitely recommend it. Infrastructure not extremely good, but good. Academically this is one of the best CBSE schools in Thane. I would say it is the best, not because I have studied here but because it actually is really great (in CBSE). This school has a very rich history and heritage. DAV is one of the most respected educational institutions in India.

This is one of the best schools in thane. Lucky to have both of my daughters study there. The school also in addition to excellent academic records , imparts spiritual and culture values from very young age , which helps the students to shape up and excel. The felicitation of class 10 toppers , was a great recognition and inspiration for all the students. My daughter passed out class 10 this year with 89% and owe most to the dedication of the teachers and able leadership of principal .

I was a student here. Worst school ever!I broke my tooth and they didn’t let me go home or to a doctor and because of them, that tooth died.Hate your children ? Put them here!Absolute Hell Hole.Oh also, a Art teacher slapped me because I didn’t finish a drawing. Disgusting excuse for an educational institution.But in all fairness, that was more than a decade ago. I don’t believe that the PT teacher who called me out for having an uneven hair partition is capable of mental growth but one can hope.

My two children have been coming to this school for four years and are very happy at this school. I’ve highly recommended it to others. My boys enjoy going to school. They are progressing very well and have a good relationship with pupils and the teachers. In my opinion the school is doing a great job.

DAV is a good school but has its own drawback.. I understand teachers have a lot of load but insulting a student and not at all considering his/her vulnerability is the worst as a teacher you can do.. A teacher should understand their student instead of shouting and misbehaving with them.if this is the the case with most of the teachers.. Kids will die out of depression and frustration..- A furious Guardian.

Recently school conducted Kids Carnival for children. Everything was well organised. Games , Magic Show, Dance Competitions , Song Competitions many others. Every one enjoyed.

Teachers work tirelessly to make sure that students are safe and learning at high levels in Language Arts, Math, Science, and social emotional well being. All the teachers and staff members are very supportive.

The studies done in this school are very nice and good. The classrooms are of a average size.

DAV is a school with more religious bigotry than actual education... More emphasis is given to ancient religious texts than actual scientific facts... Let me site a few examples:1. The 8th class final exam also includes a compulsory moral science exam in its aggregate which forces children to believe in all sorts of weird superstitious nonsense like life after death, karma and so on2. Children are taught that Vedas are supreme compared to all other religious texts... Imagine the effect it has on people of other religious faiths!!Kids must not be exposed to such nonsense at such a young age as it blocks their brain from actual scientific research!!

Great school. School takes very good care of childrens...Principal mam and all staffs are very supportive ...school gives opportunity to children to develop their skills..........

School is the Best.....no doubt...Teachers and other staff are very co-operative.....but the Principal the head of the school doesnt consider anyone for the school decisions - whether it may be the school timings or classroom shiftings....1. This year i.e 2018-19 the timings were changed which spoils the entire planning of the year...where there is no need to change the time..2. Earlier In Winter season the school use to leave early 15 minutes before ..as it becomes dark early and now the kids reach home at 6.45 - 7pm....Earlier when Principal madam Ms. HEMA NAIR very well handled the school responsibilities....3. Last year suddenly some classrooms were demolished and the children were shifted to Library, Computer Labs and to some other classes...the situation was very pathetic.....Kids used to complain everyday....So if the kids are in Pre-primary for them the School is best...but for Primary n Secondary it is not recommendable by me......

DAV Public School Thane gives a facility of online exam to the students. Students get to revise the topics with the help of computer based tests, which is a very good initiative.

This is the best school for CBSE in Thane . Based on principles of Dayanand Saraswati and very old institution . School has their own curriculum which is very scientifically made . It makes students to think on their own instead of mugging up things . Each student has to bring a separate fruit tiffin which is a good thing . Teachers are also very kind . My son got adjusted in the school in just 2-3 days. I would recommend this school to everyone .

Good School. Displine is good since new principal joined in 2011or 2012. I am a 10th pass out from this school. 1 Big and 1 small computer lab. A Big library. 5 floors with atleast 10 classroom each floor. Good teachers. They have Monginis Franchises as their Canteen, that guarantee Hygiene food. They have their own School Transport. Values are thought along with Bookish knowledge. It has Digital Classroom program also. Teachers are exceptionally great and very helpful. One problem is their small co-owned ground hence the other party hosts events during festivals, so students cannot play during that period. Rest is good. Also, school has a great reputation in being Miser. Study is good. Overall I would tell you its a go. But for small children, they dont have much facilities, activities, speaking and listening activity.

Dear Parents1. Try only if you are looking from Nursery, JrKg. Otherwise completely waste of time.2. I visited Mulund and Thane 2 schools , but admission for 2nd and 3rd grade is only if vacancy is created and difficult to get admission, ppl are saying its good school, but I felt its kind of typical govt. school with better education, student ratio may be high and fees may be ~60k, I am not considering it as I did not find it par with private schools.

My daughter appeared for second level NSO and IMO.DAV public school Thane is one of the oldest schools in Thane and very reputed for its bad behavior.This is how they harassed so many children who were giving exams:1. The teacher started the timer and kept it in her mind .... students were waiting for her permission to start. Around 3 minutes later, she said that she started the timer while distributing the copies....so they can start.2. My daughter had mild fever- around 99.....she put on a light sweater. While the exam was going on, the teacher started chitchatting with my daughter.....asking her name....which school and which branch....where is her home....why is she wearing a sweater...is she feeling ok.....My daughter is 10...she didnt know how to be rude ....and ask the teacher to so the chitchatting after exams.....She wasted around 4 minutes there.3. This well wishing teacher then snatched the paper 3 minutes before scheduled time. She wanted to snatch first bench before so that by the time she finishes taking copies ....the timer time gets over. The last answer which my daughter knew..... she wasnt allowed to finish. (She scored 18th rank in NSO first round, All India 11th Rank in AMTI exams, 1st Rank in Maharashtra in UIEO exam .)4. They put the children out on the scorching sunny street for 90 mins after a 60 minutes exam. When my husband requested them to allow the children to wait .....allow water and washroom...they denied saying that this testing centre was not a commercially profitable venture for them. When there is no aani-jaani they wouldnt allow any extra time.DAV Public School Thane can really ruin careers . Our children work hard all year and their efforts go wasted because of a bad centre. This was clearly a case of misplaced anger ..... where they just wanted to get satisfaction by mistreating students in a non profitable venture.That achievers section cost 3 marks ..... the answer of which my daughter already knew.....along with the wasted time and mistreatment. It would result in a much lower rank than she deservedKids should be treated way better.
