Was on my list for a long time, very well trained staffs, food is done keeping in mind the Kolhapur style cuisine! Tamba rassa Pandara Rassa was unique. I tried the Sunday special black gravy mutton thali and he tried the chicken thali. Black gravy was medium spice but taste. They have a special menu for kids. Which was perfect, mildly spiced. Overall, a good experience. Limited menu yet good on palate!

I ordered for the tambada(red) rassa and pandara(white) rassa. These were authentic Kolhapuri dishes.Both the gravies were rich and thick.The taste was really yum and we enjoyed these delicacies. MH09, located in Thane, is a place where you will get probably the most authentic Kolhapuri food in Mumbai. It is a nice and small little place located near the highway that serves great food. They also offer Kokam Sharbat and some munchies to people before their orders arrive. I tried the Chicken and Mutton Masala Fry, they were definitely very spicy, as all Kolhapuri dishes typically are, but at the same time tasted really great. The masala used these dishes was absolutely amazing and mouthwatering. I also ordered a Chicken Thaali. It was quite big and had a lot of things to eat. The size of the Bhakri was astonishing. My favourite items were the Tambda and Pandhara Rassa. The staff a very polite, courteous and patient and the service was prompt as well. Definitely a great place to enjoy authentic Kolhapuri food in Mumbai.

Their menu includes Thali, a few non vegetarian starters and beverages.I tried Veg Thali which includes 2 bhakri, 2 vegetable preparations, varan, solkadhi, rice, onions, pickle, thecha, papad. You can choose from the variety of bhakri options like Rice bhakri, Jowari bhakri or Chapati. Cost of the Thali is ₹250. A little on the expensive side, but high on taste and experience.Summarizing, this is a much recommended place for Non Vegeterian eaters as there are plenty of non vegetarian options and just Thali as an option for Vegeterian. It is a small place with non ac seating. I would recommend to reach early as the place is usually crowded.

Similarly to the name, the MH 09 Shetkari is famously known for its Kolhapuri cuisine, so if you guys are looking for some Authentic Maharashtrian Kolhpauri Thali then this is the best place.Firstly the ambience was amazing and made me feel like I was really in Kolhapur giving those Kolhapuri vibes.We ordered two thalis. One veg and second one non-veg thali.The Veg thali consisted of Amti (spicy curry), Bengan ka masala (Lady-finger roasted with spices) , Besan Pitla (made from maida), Bhakari , Mirchicha Thecha (made from green chilli) and Papad with refreshing sol - kadhi. The veg thali was supremely delicious and also very filling.The Non-veg thali consisted of all the special delicacies of Kolhapur like Chicken Masala, Egg Curry, Special Tambada Rassa, Famous Pandhara Rassa, Bhakari and Sol kadhi. We tried muttun fry thali , mutton thali and seperate dishes of ghee fry mutton, chicken thecha. Thali we opted for tandul (rice flour) bhakri and rest with ghadichi poli( roti) food taste is homemadeI am still licking my fingers..Place offers veg and non veg options.Place is very small. It seats only 20 people max at a time . So expect wait time of 20 to 30 min. Restaurant does not offer valet parking. You need to park car on bylanes nearby.Good thingbwhile waiting staff offers you solkadhi. Visited Hotel Shetkari MH 09 today at Thane. The place was well lit, warm and really beautiful. Safety precautions was important due to the COVID 19 situation. They monitored the temperature and sanitized us at entrance.This Hotel is known for the Real Kolhapuri Cuisine. The signature dish Mutton Thali and Rasa was just divine. The presentation was amazing.The food as well as the ambience was excellent. Overall it was a good dining experience considering the current COVID - 19 situation.

Mh09 Shetkari , situated on the backside of lane parallel to service road, behind Pappu da Dhaba, is an extension of the Shetkari restaurant, well known in Kolhapur for servicing authentic Kolhapuri cuisine for past 20yrs.Place is not so huge, can accommodate around 20 people at a time, so you might have to wait during peak lunch & dinner hours.What I liked is when you are waiting to get a seat inside, they serve you Kokam sarbat as welcome drink. Nice gesture.Coming to what we ordered :1. Mutton Masala thali : Thali concept is very common in Mumbai region, where a complete meal is served in the plate. Mutton thala consists of jowar Bhakri, Mutton Masala, Solkadi, Tambda, Pandhra Rassa, & egg curry.Overall a very sumptuous meal.2. Mutton Dry Thali : This is exactly similar to Mutton Masala thali, except for Mutton Dry served instead of Mutton Masala which is thick & dry gravy. Mutton Dry wont go too well with only Bhakri so try it with Tambda Rassa as well.3. Chicken Fry : One of the best dish, chicken was tender , spicy as well as propely cooked. A very new place that has cropped up in the last few months that serves authentic Maharashtrian food at very reasonable prices.Highly recommended if you are in the area.Staffs are always available to attend customers & offer proper suggestions/guidance, which provides a nice, personal touch.With a very little options in menu the restaurant serves good Maharashtrian food & all their Mutton/Chicken Thalis are very popular & tasty too.The only shortcoming that I found is that they dont serve any sea food .Although the place is small, it is fairly neat and clean & the prices are attractive.Indeed a good place to go to for a quick lunch or dinner to savor Maharashtrian Food.Recommended :Chicken Thali & Chicken Fry - both are my favourite.

The combination of all these is utterly satisfying and filling. Masala bhat was also good in taste.Mr Santosh assisted us for all the orders and was prompt.Happy Dining 😃

This place is located near the RTO in Thane, its a small place that serves authentic Kolhapuri delicacies in Mumbai. They serve both veg and non-veg thalis, in non-veg then only serve white meats no fish is served at this place.Ordered their mutton Fry Thali with Bajra bhakri (roti) the thali had a white gravy (like a stew) and a red gravy (again stew just red colour), a egg masala thick gravy and the mutton fry. It also had a onion salad with curd and the famous solkadi.The mutton was so tender that it actually melted in the mouth, the meat was well marinated and not spicy at all, it wasnt too oily too and blended well with the bhakri, I even tried their chapatti and it was soft and was with ghee so I really relished it. They even have masala bhaat ( masala rice ) with cashews and fried onions on top, it was just delicious with the red / white gravy, it added to the flavours and was a delight to the mouth.My experience was just amazing and my travel was worth it after such an amazing spread of dishes. Highly recommend this place, would love to visit it again.

Food taste is Awesome.. Tambada and Pandhara Rassa is superb. But compare to price of thali, qunatity is much less (only one bhakari) .. The same thali (chicken thali-330) (mutton thali-360) At satara and kolhapur the same thali costs 200-250 but with much quantity of chicken/mutton and bhakari.

MH09 Shetkari is probably the only place in Thane which serves authentic home style Kolhapuri food - and yes, they also serve awesome Tambhda and Pandhda rassa. They have pretty amazing chicken and mutton thalis. They even have superb veg thali! They served phulka bhakhri and chapati - probably the best chapati Ive had outside of home. The thalis had Tambhda and Pandhda rassa, egg curry, Solkadi, and the main chicken/mutton curry.Although the place is quite small, the owner is quite warm and welcoming; even the waiters are quite friendly. Even the pricing is quite decent and nothing has been priced exorbitantly!

This is an awesome kolhapuri nonveg retreat. You will get home made quality in the real Kolhapuri style. Here you will get unlimited Tambda Rassa (Red curry), Pandhara Rassa(white curry). Chicken / mutton fry with really good quality of chapati and bhakari is real feast. You definitely will be delighted after having meals over here. It is a small family restaurant. You need to sit for a while to get your dining table.. I can assure you about taste because I am a Kolhapuri guy. :D

And the rassa was just spicy enough to tantalize my taste buds, not burn them.They have a healthy crowd, and you have to wait for some time due to limited seating. Shetkari was Fully tradionally with Indian dish.When we enter we had a Kokum juice which made me fresh .I had here Veg Thali .The Dish Was Good I had A Bakari here .The Bakari is Really Softy And Fulfii, I really i never eaten such a Bakari .The Food was Fresh With Garam Bakari .The interior was very good and small.According to me :Ambience : 5/5 star ⭐Food : 5/5 star⭐Service :5/5star⭐
