Also had chicken Thaali which too didnt stay behind to win our hearts with the perfect use of spices and precise amount of chilly letting us unleash the complete benefits of a Thaali. Last but not the least, the owner himself stands at the door giving dedicated attention to everyone standing in queue outside (cause this place is never vacant) gives a fullfilled pleasant feeling about the owner. This is a great place for having a hearty and tasty meal.Visited here today for lunch. Even though its a really small premises and is usually crowded, its worth all the hassle just to taste their heavenly food. We had to wait around 20 minutes to get a seat.The food is homely, prepared by a few ladies in full view of the guests in the adjoining shop. I had Surmai Thali with Bhakari. The Surmai piece is one of the largest Ive ever eaten at a restaurant. The rassa has lots of grated coconut and authentic Konkani spices. One special thingy to note is gray they serve two Bhakaris in the Thali here, instead of the usual one served elsewhere.We completed the meal with the Solkadhi, which is truly to die for. I just couldnt resist and had two!!Its definitely on my frequent visit list now...

Hemant Snacks is a quaint little place you should definitely visit if you want AMAZING fish and chicken. It is not a place you should sit, relax and talk because there is a long waiting line of people. The food is minimalistic and absolutely yum.

Ambience is basic, but AC chill is very good, felt like Alaska. Taste was really good but I think tge owner is keeping huge margin on basic thali, im saying this based on comparison with Nav Gomantak which is bang opposite on other side of highway. Better ambience, more items in plate - dry prawns, Chatni and best part its Rs. 295. Better taste too. They serve beer too 😃. Hemant snacks is definitely over priced. Not sure why many people saying its cheap.
