I always liked the kids wear here.but yesterday i went and bought basic clothes for my kid,and they say that they are having some discount but in billing there is no discount provided.and moreover just for one time she wore the night dress and the cloth started tearing.I think the stock is quite old and they want just to sell it and eveb they have mentioned that no return.bcoz this is the business tactics they are playing as the stock is old..so people please dont buy anything now there and the quality is low with high prices and old stock.im so disappointed.

This is a spacious shop located at Gokhale Road, Naupada, Thane West, the shopping area for Thanekars.The shop is in fact part of a chain, with the Dadar shop being a prominent one. I had been visiting the Dadar Kala Kendra over the last few years, as they have good merchandise in ready-to-wear apparel, with good offers.However since they opened a shop in Thane, I have stopped going to Dadar and have purchased at the Thane shop for a couple of times. The shop is fairly big and has good variety of womens, girls, mens and boys clothing. Of course, prices of some items seem reasonable, and some dont. So one has to pick and choose.They particularly have good discount offers around Diwali time, and one can make the most of it. They have good variety too.However I did face a small problem. A couple of trousers had to be altered and they said itd be done in a half hour. So I waited as I didnt want to make another trip to the shop the next day. However, they ended taking up exactly an hour (vs. the 30 minutes promised). Also in spite of the large purchases we made, they refused to deliver the altered pieces to my residence, as an exception. I guess such issues will always remain as far as local Indian businesses are concerned.So, I guess Thanekars can consider this shop as a one-stop-shop for their family Diwali shopping!Update:I was required to return one of the dresses we purchased before Diwali. Even though the shops rule states that exchanges must be made within 15 days, they did allow us to exchange the item even though more than a month had passed. However, I realized that this gesture was nothing more than a smart business tactic by the shop. For one, they looked at the total amount on the bill and two, they knew that had they refused us, we would never return to the shop in future for any purchases. But still, I appreciate it.
