This place is good to spend some nice time. They have a good variety of Indian dishes and a good ambiance similar to a village. They have unlimited food policy. Hygiene is good and well maintained. The taste of the food is not that great but its fine. They have puppet shows , dandias, DJs,and many games during when u visit. The staff is well mannered and polite.

Nice place to have a fun filled evening with your family with lots of options to eat and enjoy. Pleasant staff to help and serve you delicious yummy food. A very good option to have birthday and other family parties with good few activities conducted by the staff themselves.

This place has lost its charm and quality. I was highly disappointed with my experience. The food lacks quality and taste.Yes, the space this themed restaurant offers is huge alongwith nicely made sections as the backdrop ambience like the jail, station area, ladies tailor, Beauty parlour, talkies.. to name a few. But the moment you taste the food, you are in for a disappointment because that is not expected from this restaurant. Basic items lack taste, they might even taste better at a small time dhaba. The gulab jamun and jalebi were good and the pav bhaji was just ok.The dosa guy just couldnt get the dosa correct when the counter started. The dosas burnt or were cut haplessly while removing them.The paneer do pyaza tasted only of paneer. The gravy didnt even have a taste. There was only the option of phulka in the roti section.The restaurant has added attractions like the puppet show or the garba and folk performance. For enjoyment with a group, its a good option. But if you are going for food.. please think twice.I hope they work on the food aspect more.

It was a fabulous dinner. Food here was quite tasty and had various variety.Ambience - restaurant has taken a lot of efforts in ensuring that the Ambience resembles to that of a village. Restaurant has a jail depiction, allowing you to have feel of eating In jail. Even the chairs have the feel of sitting in some country side dhaba.Food - Food can be divided into sub menus viz. Chaat, Main Course (comparising Maharashtrian, Punjabi, Gujarati and Village special), Deserts, Live Counter (Dosas and Pav Bhaji).The taste of every food item was at beautiful and restaurant had taken enough efforts to ensure it has village feel.Staff - The staff here is quite friendly and the hospitality provided by them is at par with star restaurants. They also had organised games for kids.In my view, if you want an unlimited Indian style buffet you can visit this place. This is a good place for family visit and to spend time while dining.

We have visited here on my close friend birthday party. We got 30% discount here beacuse of we reserved seat from eatigo app. This place is heaven for vegetarian lovers. Moong dal halwa and jalebi is must to try here. They have live counters for chaat, south indian dishes , Gola /ice cream counter and sweet dishes. Staff here will not fail to entertain you. Best to visit here with your friends, families or office colleagues. Rajsthani dance perform here everyday so you also can step forward to dance with your partner or click some photos with their pagdi or matka. Reason of giving 3 star here is variety is very limited for lunch time.

Under the garb of Village theme attempt has been made to get away with absolutely shabby and cheap infrastructure.. Cane chairs, a bucket for wash basin, cheap steel plates and cutlery..the list goes on.. Food is average.. Several food counters with a number of dishes are on offer mainly to justify the exorbitant price.. But even after that it is difficult to justify the high price..

Visited this a week ago on an invite for a birthday party.What i loved most about this place is an Amazing Decor and secondly the chai.So many sections with different themes (Cinema, Railway Station, Beauty Parlor, Classroom, Zoo etc. to name a few). Loved touring through all of them as i was early and very few people were there so was able to get through every section. But that was not the case after an hour, The place was full of lots of people. They have a little play area which they use to play games, Garba, Balloon shooting, Puppet show, Dancing and many other activities.Food was also great, But mostly i liked the place for the overall ambiance and good feel. Nice job maintaining everything there. They also have different types of counter for food as well. For example Theka(Which doesnt serve alcohol, But Chaas, Sarbats etc.), Chat Counter, Dosa Counter, Chinese, Dessert, Main Course(Buffet), Chaiwala, Icecream stall.As you enter you are welcomed with welcome drink (On that day it was Rose Sarbat and Lemon Juice).Coming to food its a buffet kind of place (i.e. Fixed price and separate rate for children), Everything is self service here. You can visit the counter you want and ask them to prepare the dish. A guy roams around and delivers the starters. At the start he had Batata Vada and Khaman both of which were very good in taste. But that kept changing to Samosa, Kothimbir Vadi etc.Also had Panipuri and Sevpuri from chat counter, Which were great.Tried the Masala Dosa which was kind of okay in taste.From main course i was able to try a very little because of all the other options. So i was only able to try Bhindi bhaji, Chole and couple of rotis. Food was better.In dessert they had 2-3 options, But one of them was Gulab Jamun so didnt try anything else. And this was one of the best Gulab Jamuns i had in a long time. Very soft and perfectly sweet (Not to much and not less).Overall it was a wonderful experience going through this place, Also the entire team serving there is very welcoming. I tried my best in being part of the birthday celebration :). Definitely worth the money you spent here. Perfect for large groups, family outing or partying without non-veg & alcohol :).P.S. :- The rating is for overall experience, If you are visiting only for food, Then consider the rating to be 3.0 or 3.5.

Visited this place multiple times in different groups. Nice ambience that makes you feel as though you are in a Bollywood studio. Serves wide variety of vegetarian food ranging from chaat, starters, gola and desserts. The staff take enough care that you eat well and make you participate in their performances. Good place to visit in Bigger group.

It has been a very good experience..... When I reached there I saw there was 2 birthday celebrations going on.. But to my surprise the crowd was handled very gracefully. I have been to The village before in Bangalore and in Mumbai and the experience has been the same... Memorable. The food was also good. And ambience was also very good.

Very good place for enjoying traditional Indian thali. there are about 52 dishes to choose from and the staff is good. the service is prompt. the interior is the village is very huge from inside and it is a very good option for get together etc. the pricing on the weekends could be a little high compared to the weekdays but never-the less it is worth it. recommend.

As I visited with my friend whos regular customer of there, head and management team gave us a very special treatment.Snacks starters sweets are good compared to main course. Good place to visit with family and kids. As a mother I always look forward for safety security and kids comfort zone here I find it all. We can enjoy puppet show,Balloons shot, tattoo art etc. Kids attraction is Ice cream, gola, sweets and animals.I heartly thanks The village Restaurant for such amazing experience.

Visited this place on Sunday. Cost per person Rs. 550. Nimbupani served as welcome drink hardly 100 ml. Starters served veg crispy, mix bhajiya were tasteless.. You can have better veg crispy at roadside Chinese hawker.Rest of the food was at par, plenty options but not quality food.One can have better food at any good restaurant at that cost

We went here as a family get together since weve always liked the village concept but it turned out to be a big disappointment. The place is dying and you can literally feel the lack of maintenance and compromises in everything around. The biggest issue was the pathetic quality of food (Be it the chaats, the liquid of gola, oily main course and the list goes on). Except the starters, everything was a disgrace. Some of the food was even stale and we asked the staff to serve us fresh. Desserts werent upto the mark either. I had saved up hunger for that evening considering the buffet at village but I returned home feeling worse. Most of my family members had stomach issues the next morning.@Village Management: Either shut the place or run it well.

Infrastrure is good..No air conditioner..but to maintain cool air they have handled it by showers of water in the air...

Very nice plac. You can enjoy in Mumbai city feel Village tadaka. Food is sooo good there are Dandiya , puppet shows Rajasthani dance , Ghada vala dance , ghoda (hourse) dance . You can celebrate birthdays. A very nice evening time spent with family. So colorfully, Village looks, there is central jail , I love ice cream vale bhayya. Who acts like he is selling ice cream in village from his cycle. Sitting arrangements are so good. There are photobooth also .

Avoid going to this outlet had really bad experience, went on Sunday 27/05. Following are the reason 1) Could hardly find 4 starters instead of 8 2) Sweets were 4 instead of 5 3) Dal Bati was not at all looking like Dal Bati, were no churma 4) Worse was the Golar, syrup was so bad 5) Staffs were not looking neat 6) Staff were not only on top of the things, customers had to ask them refill food, spoons. Not at all Value for Money deal. Guess for the sake tick in the Box they have kept things but serving poor quality food
