A small shop in Thane. They stock the most authentic Maharashtrian delicacies. The only challenge is that some specific snacks are not available every time and the working hours of this store is not fixed. If you visit during early evenings, it is always closed. If you need business, you must be available to the customers most of the time.
Healthy and hygienic food. Pl try all the products from this place and especially the variety of ladoos is just awesome.
Clean and tidy place to shop for home made tradional Maharashtrian sweets and delicies.
A small and hygienic joint serving vadapavs, all wadi, bhaji, samosa, etc. Its located right next to Kill No Kalorie and the service is prompt. The uncles over here are polite and patient with the customers. I had heard about this place from my dad and thought of going here for some early afternoon binge. The vada was piping hot and delish. It was served along with sweet chutney and green chillies. It wasnt that oily and was tasty as well. It cost me 12rs only.
THERE WERE ANTS IN THE PURANPOLI PACK. THIS IS DISGUSTING. WILL APPROACH FOOD AND DRUG.
Great shop with genuin homely sweets in very reasonable rates......Anand Jayawant
One of the best food joints all over Thane to serve authentic Maharashtrian delicacies. Its my all time favourite.
For every occasion you get good set of snacks and sweets at a reasonable rates. Some are expensive but the quality of the items are amazing. Must try all faraal for diwali. And other festival as well. Sweets are also fresh and nice. One can buy their festival delicacy over here.
One of the oldest shops in Thane for Marathi snacks, Maharashtrian products and fast food. They have really good Maharashtrian snacks and sweets products available with international packaging as well.... One thing you should definitely try is their batatawada which is without doubt, one of the best Batatawadas the city has to offer.
One Stop Shop for Marathi snacks, the products are awesome, the shop has a bit of retro look (1980s) but the quality, taste and hygiene are the reasons I frequent to this place.
Its vadas and mung bhaji are lip smacking. The place n taste has remained unchanged for decades.
Best बटाटावडा and मूंग भजी in Thane, no change in yammy taste since last 25,years😋😋
Best place to try authentic, mouth watering potato Vada & moong bhaji , typical Maharashtrian dishes. An old joint in Thane. It has maintained its authenticity & quality for years. Usually crowded in the evenings with people standing outside munching on dishes. It offers take away as well. A must visit place for food lovers. I am sure you will visit more often than once!
Shraddha Services is located opposite the Ghantali Temple, at Ghantali Devi Road in Naupada area of Thane. It is one of the oldest and most renowned and reliable sweet shops in Thane. I believe the shop has been around for over 4-5 decades.Usually they stock a variety of sweets and namkeen. For the upcoming festival of Diwali, the biggest Hindu festival, they are offering a variety of Maharashtrian Diwali Faraal (दिवाळी फराळ) snacks. Their Diwali Faraal snacks taste quite well, and rates are reasonable. Most importantly, they offer the facility to send Faraal to your near and dear ones located abroad in places like the US and Europe too. They offer a customized package which comprises of 6 Kg of Faraal such as Chakli, Rava Laadoo, Besan Laadoo, Chiwda, Shankarpale and barfi. Including in the package is 2019 calendar, utane (scented bathing powder उटणं), earthen lamps (पणती). They will handle the packing and delivery by courier too, for a fixed price of Rs 7,000 for the package + courier for delivery in the US.They offer payment by card, for transactions above a threshold.I wholeheartedly recommend their Diwali Faraal and other snacks, to everyone!
My order of Kesari pedha was given to somebody else. I had paid full amount in advance for 10 kg. I was cheated. The manager was arrogant when I asked how can you do that. Now there was no kesari pedha available stock. Finally I had to buy whatever was available.
This is a farsan shop offering different types of Shev, farsans, & sweets. You will find some fresh sweets. Dry items are properly packed, & stacked. It has a steady flow of customers. They take orders for functions.
This corner snack shop is famous for its bhajiya, vadas and other fried food. There is no sitting arrangement, yet the shop gets crowded due to its delicious offerings!
Nice variety of Farsan, sweets & papad. They take Diwali faral orders as well. In January they keep Jaggery roti, famous Maharashtrian traditional dish. During Shravan youll get Puran poli another traditional Marathi sweet.
Mouthwatering Maharashtrian snacks. Pretty much a roadside shack, so dont expect parking space. Most famous for Moong Bhajiya, Batata Vada and Alu Wadi. Easy on pocket. Takeaway is good option but carry your own bag. Ask for pav and be insulted 😂🙈
