The Deka Saang resort is in Tepesia area,nearby Aarian woods and Spring Valley resort too.With a beautiful green environment and ponds,you can spend good time here.Parking space is available.There is both open sky and cottage like arrangement for people.You can choose either.Prices are a lil high.Quality is ok.I have this two time experience of getting nothing of my choice here (in case of food).On Sundays they usually have ethnic food only.You would hardly get any other food choice.They serve drinks too.But sometimes if you have a hard luck you wont get a chilled one.But overall it is a good place to hangout with your family and friends.

The place has always been one of my favorites since its opening . Thankfully, the service has improved a lot and food has never been a disappointment here.But its good to stick to ethnic dishes ,Indian dishes are average .

Since the resort was near the one we had intended to visit, we thought of dropping in & just taking a look around. Theres a lot of creepers & green plants growing leisurely, providing a kind of shade & also a sense of dampness (which my sinusitis is not comfy with). There are little mushroom like huts where i saw few visitors having their share of food & beverages. It has a small pond in the backyard and also a ground with a stage setting for events & celebrations. i spotted twin swings too as you could spot in the snap. The parking lot is not too spacious as such. Also, i must mention the attendants were friendly and approachable. However, we had simply dropped in, checked out the place with permission , had expressed our gratitude for inviting us in.

Visited the place quality a few times. I like the purely natural and wilderly vive of the place. Only thing they need to improve is their service. It’s been found many a time that their service is quite slow due to shortage of manpower which they really need to look upon. Rest they can also make more new huts 🛖 to accommodate more customers as most of the time there is no proper place to sit. Food is okay, can’t be termed as great.

If you are having issues in finding a beautiful place to be with your loved ones, Deka Saang is the place where you should head to. The dhabas located in Jalukbari and highway adjacent areas should learn from them. They charge you so minimal, the staff is so humble. Ive been a visitor here since 2015 and they havent disappointed me with their food till now. They charge the same even after 5 years with the lockdown in effect. I wouldve given them 5 stars but they make you wait for your food for more than an hour. If you dont drink and youre there simply to eat, youll need patience.

The best pork you can get. The food is really good. And the environment is just mind blowing. The only downside is that the place is hidden among other resorts in sonapur. However that makes it as a hidden gem. Would recommend the bamboo pork. That food just too good. Also they have open dining ( usually full would recommend callimg them in advance if you want that service ). I remember celebrating my 17th birthday there. Also sometimes they might service you something extra on the house ( they did to us ). 10/10 would visit again.

The place is not well maintained. The taste of food was good although they have limited their menu due to Covid. Major disappointment was the insects that we encountered while having our food. Close to nature vibe and all are good but hygiene is of paramount importance in a restaurant.

The place gave me vibe of rural ethnic place.This place is good to chill with family and friends. Apart from the city life you will find here peace and calmness. Everywhere is full of greenery. However the food was not upto the mark i wont recomend some items ,but you can try the bbq chicken which was worth the penny .

Amazing place at Sonapur. Just 25 km from guwahati city. The resort is located between the hills with an amazing view and full privacy to spend quality time. Food was tasty and the staff was cooperative enough. Perfect place to spend the weekend.

A popular resort for those who love ethnic food. Some dishes cooked in traditional way are not only tasty but healthy too. Another reason for people visiting this resort is its pocket friendly prices.Besides the restaurant, there are several small cabins and open sheds where one sit and relax. The open sheds provide a wonderful view of the natural surroundings.As this resort is over 10 years old, it needs renovation in order to remain competitive with the new resorts that have come up in the nearby areas.

Ambience is just amazing! The place is really good to spend some alone time with your friends or family or yourself. Food isnt much delicious as we ordered chilly chicken and roti. I cant tell about the other food items. Service is good, but they didnt accept credit cards so it was difficult for us. Rest it was a beautiful experience.

Natural beauty is the main key. Staffs are good ..Healthy food, #ethnic food. Sunga pork is best. You can bring your family to this resort and it will not disappointed you.

The place is good, but the management is worst, just ordered for 3 items in main course and they had taken about 1 hours to serve. However the waiter had on continous basis serving starters to the other parties who however arrived late then us, and paid a tip beforehand.

Worst food in whole guwahati, sonapur, well in whole assam. The smoked pork was literally burnt, bbq pork had 4 pieces that costs 300. Worst place ever.

I had been to this place many times and it was good but on march 2021 i went there and i saw there maintainence was so poor. And the food was horrible. We asked them for fish fry and chicken pura. And the taste was yaaakkkkk. Fishes were not properly fried and they gave us 4pcs and took Rs.200/pc. Chicken was also not good. And the interior of the cottages are so poor. So i will suggest you dont go there.

We went in the evening. The area we selected was dirty. May be the group before us had just left. But they did not do the cleaning. There were ants also. Food was good. Service was not that bad either.

One of the worst place I have ever been for lunch. The mutton was so bad that I have not remember eating such mutton in my life. The pork, what they called as sunga pork brought in a disposal bowl and said we are using disposable plates even for a recipie cooked in sunga. And pork was so bad in taste that it was smelling and while complaining they said sunga pork smells like that only. I born and brought up in upper assam knows every bit of taste of pork and they said sunga pork smells like that only. The irony began when I asked for card payment. They said we do not like cards we accept only cash. When I asked why they said most of the people who have black money only visit our place so we do not required POS machines, they always prefered to pay in cash.

I spent a very good time in this place in one of our official meeting, love the environment ,,, staff r helpful, i enjoy the food they serve, also enjoyed the bonfire

Such a worst resort. I never had such experience in other resort. Resort was dirty. Took 1hr to serve food but the food was worst. Plates were dirty. Ordered polau, chicken curry and mutton curry. Polau with rason rice boiled and carrot and bean and in chicken and mutton curry the pecies were small size and served in a small boul. Charged 600 for chicken and mutton. Size was small but price was costly. Will never ever visit this resort again and will recommend everyone not to visit. Iman horu chicken ru mutton piece tu muk ghrt ou nidiye. Ru polau tu rason r rice logot carrot ru bean. Eku taste nai. 1200 bill bonai imn faltu khua bonaise ru plate ou letra.
