Thats a good beach. One can go for camel ride, horse ride and many more things. But in the evening some dead fishes came on the beach as nearby it has a very big fish market of Arnala

First time visited for exploring sunset view. It was Very Nice experience with the place. Must visit this place you will also get good experience.

It ws a wonderful place to chill around.. but not anymore.. still early morning visit or visiting during off time is best as its not crowded.

Very nice place for picnic. You can enjoy with friends as well family also bes poace for children for refreshment. Seashore to enjoy wave. Also snacks available here like bhelpuri and many more. For children and adults horse riding, camel riding available. Very beautiful place with pleasent of nature. If you want one picnic definitely visit here. You can play cricket and many more games. Also can enjoy the water wave at beach. And sunset also very beautiful.

Badly maintained beach. This beach has dark sand. The soil does not clay here and hence is very sandy. However the beach and surrounding is completely filled with trash. Plastic, Wafer bags, Chicken feather, you name it, all sort of waste is filled across the beach and the garden beside. The is a good coconut grove beside. This beach has a lot of potential for tourism as the beach has some very good quality sand, but unfortunately there is no Maintenance done here. Recommended for a one time visit if you have explored all other beaches around Mumbai and left with none to visit.

And found this black sand long stretched beach 🏖 soothing calm and inviting.The beach has bit of bird life and is dotted with water parks in the areaDriving distance from thane is around 2 hoursSunsets are beautiful on any beach 🏝 and this one is no exception.Swimming 🏊‍♀️ is avoidable as the waterbed dips drastically after initial 100 meters. Unless you are professional swimmer. Life guards were not visible.Other activities - camel 🐪 ride. Horse 🐎 ride rtv bikes 🏍 and surfing 🏄‍♀️. Lots of food options are near to the beach.Go to far north end to see black and white painted lighthouse.Good for family.I preferred early morning 5 30 6 am (pre sunrise ) visits to own the beach to myself

I visit Arnala. Beach often... This time I found it. Clean and decent.... Enjoyed chat and gola....

I visited Arnala beach second time after 2 years duration and for my surprise this beach was clean and well kept.One hour drive from Borivali and Thane, but the beach is same as everywhere with dark water and black sand .You can find a crowd not less than 3000 on sundays. Good thing is kids can enjoy a lot with camel safari, horse riding and horse carts.I will recommend visit to this beach only if you stay nearby or you are visiting Virar for any work and have some time.

We visited the Arnala Fort, children were very happy to see the small village situated near it.

The beach is not kept clean by the visitors. To enjoy the beauty going on weekday would be much better than weekend.

It was one of most finest beach at Virar, but right now needs more improvement & cleanliness. Once it was having play area for children but now the equipments are rusted. Even the numbers of coconut & other tress becoming lesser day by day.

Place to for weekend outing for Family, Friend and Office College at Virar. In morning you can visit Jivandi Temple / Vajeshwari and Mahalaxmi Mandir . In afternoon you can spend your time at Arnala Fort which 15min boat drive from Arnala Beach and Enjoy the evening on beach.

Its a clean and quite beach with so many activities like surfing to do . The mumbai surf club is a great place to hang out . And the coffee there is superb .

I stumbled upon a nearby place called ‘Arnala’ and immediately I made up my mind that this would be my next destination to explore.In the extreme northern suburbs of Mumbai, is a place called Virar, which is the last stop for the suburban railways. The tiny town of Arnala lies just seven kilometres west from Virar. For Mumbaikars, reaching Arnala would take not more than one and a half hours time. You can either take a bus or a private vehicle to reach Arnala directly. Another alternative is to simply hop onto the lifeline of Mumbai – the local trains and get down at Virar and reach Arnala by taking a rickshaw. One heart warming feature associated with Arnala is that it is completely managed by localites, which ensures that you experience a homely feeling once you get there!

You will always find place crowded mostly during weekends. Food Court is available at the entrance. Parking Facility is available outside the entrance. You can have a look at Arnala Fort.
