Its panda express. It used to be really good americanized Chinese food now it just tastes like sugar. Also my fortune cookie said my sense of humor is appreciated in any situation. Really?

90% of the time that we order Teriyaki Chicken bowls, they do not give you the Teriyaki sauce or the packets. I received sweet and sour packets today even after asking for Teriyaki sauce packets. 🤦🏻‍♀️ This is my last visit at this location.

One of the better Panda Expresses I’ve seen. It’s really big and really clean. They have a separate food-serving area for drive through, which cuts down the general wait time a lot. The staff are pleasant and welcoming. The food is standard PE, so nothing out of the ordinary here. A nice new spot for quick, hot, decent food in Tehachapi. No complaints.

Had dinner there Friday night. Was greatly impressed with how quickly and courteously I was treated. No hesitation when I asked to sample a new dish. And the food that I brought home to my wife was delicious. One thing I would like to see is a little more spicy food. I mean I like mine spicy, spicy!

Panda Express is by far the most greatest Chinese restaurant Ive ever eaten. They had the best food, best staff, and best building Ive ever seen

Ive tried this Panda Express four times now. The service is consistently slow as molasses in January, and the employees, to the last one, appear confused and rattled. The food is exactly what youd expect from the American version of Chinese fast food: unauthentic but consistent, and nothing to get excited about. The best thing on the menu is the king pao chicken (for a side, the fried rice is better than the chow mein). As tempting as the wok-seared steak and shrimp sounds, I found it a complete disappointment; the steak pieces were shriveled little bits of nearly burnt meat, and the shrimp were scarce (and small). Sure, Ill be back -- but Ill bring a book to read while waiting in the drive-thru line. On edit: Photo is of honey walnut chicken burying a side of fried rice, taken the moment I opened the takeout container and untouched (and unretouched). Tasted like it looks: Meh.

Best Panda Ive had. 4 stars only because its fast food. No fast food should ever get 5.

Good. Went during the lunch hour and it was very busy but the staff managed to get me in and out in a reasonable time frame.

Always good food no matter when I go. Betsy is awesome! Always polite and courteous whenever I come to the window. Very professional. Will come back again and again

Well not great, the food I got was good but the drive thru forgot my second lunch order. I even asked if that was it? She said yes! Paid cash so can’t even credit my charge card. Oh well.

Im heating it now for dinner. It smells fantastic and Panda usually is. Im sure Ill love it! Otherwise, nice staff. A bit slow but so is everything in Tehachapi, Williston N.D., Bismarck N.D., Columbus Mt. And most small towns, so expected. Best just to relax, slow down yourself and take it easy. The best news: my dinner is heating and I dont have to go anywhere else today! Woo Hoo!

So Apparently they close an hour before they actually close. Who would have known.

Food was good, service was quick. They need to reopen their dining room. After being on the road for 8 hours, the last thing I wanted to do was eat in my truck.

Tehachapi store. {Im a mojave resident} Very small portions again. The egg rolls were over cooked & hard again. We got 2 bigger plate meals. We got the new fiery shrimp stuff a premium dish, so it costs the $1.25 extra. & in the whole scoop I found only 1 shrimp! The rest was all veggies. The 2nd order didnt even have a single shrimp in it! Im very disappointed with this store. Ill b goin back 2 the store in Lancaster from now on.

The food tasted great. The service was good. The broccoli beef only had one small piece of beef.

The drive through took forever even though there was no one in front of me, finally after 20 minutes I got my order. When I got home I realized one of my orders was missing and had to go back to get the rest of my order. I hope they can fix these kind of issues in the future.

Unfortunately the employees dont know how to cook Sometimes they give out old rice They say they change it but you can taste the difference

I would say its a nice place its clean it has a beautiful view the scenery is nice as well, coming out from Santa Barbara of the coast visiting I would say this town is not bad its small it has its potential to grow. But other than this its a great place !!

If you have yet to eat at a Panda Express Chinnese Kitchen. This is a must do on a to do list. My first time is like every time.Great people hard working helpful and the food is great. I had the mushroom chicken on rice. Yum

Food server at lunch time rude, food cold, and paid extra $1.25 for premium honey walnut shrimp, it was not worth it.

The first few times we ate there when they first opened was great. Now the orange chicken comes in a big clump and it is overcooked. The beef is like jerky. Even the chow mein has lost its flavor. I hope management steps up and gets it together. Crossing my fingers!

Small portions, they stop making certain items before 8pm when closing at 9pm. Didnt have 3 items this time. Sad 😥!

Decent location, only down sides are portions are a little small and I always have to double check to make sure the sauce is in the bag. They have also been inexplicably closed two different times I’ve come during business hours

I just got a beef broccoli ala carte which was about 95% broccoli for $10.95 I could have just bought a bag a broccoli at the grocery store it was horrible very watered down sauce and the broccoli was hard as a rock. The worst I have ever had in my life.

Horrible customer service from I believe “Anna”? As I walked in with my 3 small children I wasn’t even greeted, I was quickly asked “does she have a mask” (pointing at my 3 year old daughter) I told her that she’s only 3 and she has a medical condition restricting her air flow (asthma). The worker says “no she needs a mask, can you leave them outside.” Mind you I’m the only adult with children 7&6 and 3 years old. The rest of us have masks on but she refused to serve us because my toddler didn’t have a mask on due to a medical condition and still refused after telling her she medically couldn’t wear one and she didn’t need to by law anyways because she’s a toddler. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

Time says 0930 as open. They dont open til 10.They should change this.

Always seems like they are understaffed during peak times. One person taking orders, packing, and at the window really slows everything down.

20 minute wait for fried rice poor management, then to top it off when I got home my order was wrong. Ordered honey sesame chicken breast and Beijing beef and I recicieved beef and broccoli, with no beef all broccoli and honey sesame chicken breast. The rice was crunchy and under cooked, bad experience

We came through the drive through at 9 15 P. M. They said they close at 10:00 so they arent cooking anymore, 45 minutes before closing and they stop. Ridiculous.

1st bad experience. Ordered online. Got there and the doors were locked. Employee motioned me to go through drive thru. After waiting in line, employee at the window said they ran out of rice and it would be another 10min so park out front. In the meantime they let two other patrons in to pick up their orders, although they had to wait as well. 20min later they brought my order out but at least with an apology and smile.When I got home, found a pile of rice under my teriyaki chicken, so less meat. Not cool...

The food is what you would expect, nothing great but still good enough to go back. The service is friendly and at times rushed but that is understandable when theyre busy. No indoor seating and mask are required.

Bathroom is very clean

Went inside and Ashley was really rude my husband tried to speak to her several times and she flat out ignored him she shorted our food alot....the rest of the staff was very polite extra rave to Jacky as well for being amazing!

They turn off the on line order system when they get busy.I thought the reason they had it was to make ordering faster and easier.We went somewhere else.

Just opened in Tehachapi! Even with Covid-19 restrictions this place is running very smoothly. Great food! Very clean & well staffed. The service, walk-in or drive-thru, excellent. Compared too other restaurants of this type the pricing is VERY GOOD.

Probably the least-liked of the Panda Expresss that I eat at between Atascadero and Palmdale. Food taste is the same as others.....I dont fault them there. Heres where I knock off two stars; 1st the Portions are slightly under what other Pandas give. 2nd..they close the grill roughly at 7pm or before. By 730pm they start running out of choices. This slows down service to not only walk-ins but the drive-thru. This is bad. We eat there two to three times a month...if we go there after 7pm , I notice each car in drive-thru stays at the speaker 5 to 10 minutes and theres usually 3-5 cars there at that time of night. You will wait in line 30-plus minutes.Also theres never any fresh vegetables...regardless of what time of day we go , we always have to wait on vegetables.

Not great. Honey walnut shrimp was terrible. Seemed like it was old, stale, and chewy. Weird. No indoor dining yet and I have no idea why not. You can go inside to order but everything is to go only. They dont even let you work the drink fountain yourself. Just bizarre. Employees were friendly, though, so theres that.

This place used to have 5 stars from me but our last visit on Saturday September 18 was the worse experience ever. The workers were rude and had overfill my sons soda when reminded they had forgotten it. My husband also got food poisoning from their orange chicken. It had gone bad and it seems they tried to hide it with all the sauce cause when he threw up the chicken was green. Avoid and go elsewhere..
