🙏visited there little late.... Missed it in the day light.. But lucky to visit the place.

Located at around 3 kms from Tawang, this is a buddhist monastery in arunachal pradesh. It is located at a very beautiful and serene place, surrounded by mountains. This is famous as the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama, and is a popular tourist spot in arunachal. I spent half an hour here and it was a very peaceful one. You should keep one day for local sightseeing in tawang, and should try to cover this monastery

This is the birth place of 6th Dalai Lama, small Temple/Monastery has been built in the memorial of Dalai Lama. Surrounded by mountains from all sides and it is around half an hour away from main Tawang market.
